Ridgemont Country Club

Located in Rochester, NY, Ridgemont Country Club is a sophisticated wedding venue with both indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for events. The country club and golf course welcomes families and provides a comfortable and visually appealing setting. With an elevated ambience and convenient amenities, couples can easily orchestrate an unforgettable fete. Before becoming Ridgemont Country Club, the property began as a farm owned by John and Mary Upton. They built their home here in 1855, which is now the clubhouse. The estate was where the Uptons raised their nine children and it featured an apple orchard. In 1923, a group of real estate developers came together to turn the property into a golf course. Over the decades, the landscape and the purpose of the onsite mansion morphed, becoming the location that it is today. While there have been plenty of contemporary improvements, the historical charms have been preserved, offering an ideal setting for weddings. Ridgemont Country Club’s ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests. The professional team at the venue is devoted to the details, ensuring that each wedding comes to fruition as planned. In total, there are four spaces that can be used at the country club for events. Among these is the main lobby for a guest arrival area, the Governors room for cocktail hour, and the Ballroom for receptions. The vow exchange can be held outside on the two-tiered patio, which is also suited to cocktail hours. Services include, but are not limited to, a tasting to help determine the menu, tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, and a decorative arch for the ceremony.
