We found Ridgewood Films after looking at several videographers portfolios searching for someone with a unique eye that catches creative shots and expressive energy that would be captured within the videos with the right music. Jaimie and her team deliver that and more! Throughout our time working with Jaime, she was extremely genuine and excited for our fairy tale-themed wedding and was patient with us as we had to postpone our wedding 2x due to the pandemic. She made sure to take note of important moments in our wedding (like a sword fight!) that we wanted to captured. During the day of the wedding, she showed up on time and her assistant were quick to film and there were times we didn’t know they were shooting at all! We loved how much encouragement she gave us! One of our favorite add-ons to her videography packages was the “social media trailer” which was delivered to us within days after the wedding so we could have something to show to friends and family. We were absolutely floored by it and stunned by the final video. The Ridgewood team has such a great talent for matching music to memorable clips. It was like watching a full mini-movie of the best day of our lives. We cannot wait to share more of it with our loved ones!

Ridgewood Films did the videography for our June 2022 wedding and did such an incredible job. They are so responsive and flexible to your needs, make you feel so supported throughout the process, and are so talented at creating a video that encapsulates the spirit of the occasion - I truly feel like I'm reliving all the highlights of my wedding day when I watch it. Wedding's are such personal and unique events, and I'm so impressed by how they took the time to really understand what was important to us and our specific wedding and then see that all come through in the final product.

Jaimie was incredible! Her communication leading up to the wedding was so clear and easy - always responded right away to any misc. questions or thoughts I had. During the wedding, she jumped right in and got the shots - she worked splendidly with our photographer (who recommended Jaimie to begin with!) and I cannot wait to see the final videos. I would hire Jaimie over and over again!

Jaimie was absolutely amazing. We had a small ceremony out on a local dock and she truly made our dreams come true capturing our intimate evening. We showed our video at our reception 2 years later and got so so many compliments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

When my wife first brought up the idea of getting a videographer I must admit I was skeptical. Boy am I glad not only that we did do it, but that we got the most amazing videographer in Jaime. Her style, creativity and professionalism was top shelf. Just the absolute best. The first time I got the to watch the final draft it brought us both to tears. Every wedding should have Jaime to capture the magic of their special day. It goes so fast and her work is the best way to revisit it!

TL;DR: Jaimie & Ridgewood were one of the best investments we made for our wedding. No question. We were honestly on the fence about hiring a videographer. We weren't sure we'd ever watch a video of our wedding and photos would be enough. As we considered it, we spoke to friends who had been married previously, most of which did NOT hire videographers, and they all said it was one of their biggest regrets. After hearing that, we decided it was worth investing in. If we got a video and never watched it, fine. But if we didn't get one and always wished we had, we'd be pretty upset. We just really didn't want your typical vow voiceover over the video with cheesy romantic music you've seen 1 million times... we wanted something unique to reflect our unique wedding and style. Our planners sent us a few videographers to take a look at and we were immediately drawn to Jaimie's work over the others. Her videos were unique, upbeat, fun and cinematic. They felt completely different from what we've seen before and what turned us off from wedding videos in the past. We set up a Facetime call and after meeting, decided she was definitely our choice. On the day of our wedding, things were HECTIC. Ferries to the island were canceled, it poured rain after stating 0% chance all week, our entire timeline was thrown off as a result, etc. Jaimie showed up (after a long diverted ferry journey) and got right to work. Her being there felt completely natural - we never had to do anything that felt forced or staged which was huge for us. Throughout the day, we barely noticed Jaimie and her teammate were there and reflecting the next morning, we assumed they probably didn't get very many good shots, due to no fault of their own, because of the rain and the hectic schedule that ensued, but we'd be happy with anything at that point. We got home the next day and less than 24 hours after the wedding had completed, we were tagged in a video from Ridgewood. My initial thought was that it was way too quick and couldn't possibly be good. Honestly, we were nervous to watch it. We braced ourselves and sat down to watch... and immediately we were BLOWN AWAY. What Jaimie was able to capture without us even noticing was absolutely incredible and the video she created in less than 24 hours was unbelievable. It's funny to think we thought we'd only watch our video once but we watched just our "teaser" more than 20 times that first night alone. Every time we watched, we caught more and more tiny intimate details. Things no one would notice except us but that truly meant the world. Our friends and family were all immediately texting us to tell us how blown away they were as well - many gushing that they'd already watched 10+ times also. I could go on and on... but if you've gotten this far, I've already taken too much of your time. What I will say is that you've heard a million times that your wedding day goes by fast but I cannot stress enough that it really does feel like you blink and it's over. You black out on pure adrenaline and wake up feeling like it was all a dream. Jaimie captured our day in such a way that we can relive it whenever we want and where we can see details, emotions and moments that even we missed on the day of. She showcased our day so beautifully in just a simple teaser... I can't even imagine the real video that is to come in a few weeks. Seriously. Don't skip out on videography. And seriously. Hire Jaimie & Ridgewood.

We got so lucky when we found Ridgewood Films online. Jaimie is so sweet and accommodating... but on to the reason why you're reading this; her work. Jaime is full of artistic talent. Our video felt natural and unique and my friend said the teaser looked like a movie trailer for the latest love story! I haven't seen the finished product, because she was nice enough to spend the extra time to remove some shots that I was self conscious about. (I've recently gained weight when most brides loose it and not only that but I've been diagnosed with chronic hives and my skin was really awful in some shots, at least in my eyes). Jaime was so patient to work around my insecurities to deliver a story that we'll cherish forever. There are only a few things I would never even consider tweaking about our wedding. One was our officiant (John Candor from Best Day Ever) one was our location and the last is hiring Jaime and her second shooter, Taylor. She hiked with us into Mt. Rainier NP (pregnant BTW!) and she was wonderful to talk to on our long drive while my fiance drove Taylor. She did so much more than other vendors might have done and the affordable cost made it possible to have both a photographer and video. In my opinion, you can't forego still photos of course but there's something about the film that makes you feel like you're right back there, or better. It's magic. You will not regret it.

Ridgewood Films was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding and let me tell you, it was one of the BEST decisions we made when it came to our big day. First and foremost, Jaimie was an absolute joy to work with throughout the planning process. She was so responsive and made a point to really understand what it was that we wanted from our wedding video. When we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding a full year, Jaimie was so understanding and SO flexible. Thank goodness that Ridgewood was able to make our new date work because we could not possibly ask for a more perfect experience with our videographer.  The highlight film that they put together for us was absolutely perfect. Jaimie and Brandon captured so many magical moments throughout our big day and weaved them all together so beautifully. It felt like there was so much time and intention put into picking just the right moments to include. Our video brought us to tears the first time we watched it (and we've watched it another 50 times since). It is so so so wonderful to be able to relive those moments through the video that Ridgewood put together for us. They are an absolute must-have for your big day!

Jaimie and Brandon were so wonderful to work with! We wanted something that captured the love, the people, and the fun of the day, and they did just that! They were so professional and easy to work with. Our video turned out beautifully and we love that we have something that allows us to look back on the big and little moments from the day. When we received our video back from Jamie and Brandon we were literally blown away! I knew that our video would be amazing because the talent and skill they have is just beyond measure but after watching and wiping away the happy tears we were so happy to be able to relive our day forever! Both Jamie and Brandon were so easy to work with and from the moment we met it really just felt like old friends catching up. Wedding days are str4essful as you know and Jamie was so patient and kind and really helped to calm my nerves at times and also ensure my drunken self that they had plenty of shots for the video! I can’t recommend them enough for capturing anyone’s love and wedding day. Our video ended up being the most treasured piece we got to keep from our wedding day and I can’t thank them enough!

I was told by a few friends that the one vendor they regret not booking was a videographer. I am so glad I spoke with those people because it led me to research and book our videographer- Ridgewood Films! I loved not only Jaimie and Brandon's final product (seriously watched the teaser alone 50 times upon receiving because I couldn't believe how beautiful it was) but also their communication before the wedding and after the wedding. We wanted a particular song for part of the video and they made it work so beautifully- and the other song selection they made was beyond perfect and we had nothing to with it- so trust was obviously there because their work is so great. And most importantly, we loved their presence on the day of the wedding. They captured the most beautiful and intimate moments but my husband and I never noticed their presence because they made us feel so comfortable. Could not recommend them enough- one of the best decisions we made to remember our special day.

These two were the best investment of the wedding. We were particular about the kind of video we wanted, especially after watching a ton of wedding videos, they just start to feel formulaic. When we found Ridgewood, we loved how all their videos were different from each other and each had their own vibe. There was a particular wedding video that highlighted all the dancing that sold me. In reaching out to them, they were super responsive, set communication expectations early on, and made sure they understood what we were looking for in a video. As guests / vendors of the wedding, they were both easy going, super helpful and all around positive people. They made sure to capture a little bit of everyone and everything without feeling like they were in our faces the whole night. The video they made for us was equal parts sweet and silly and fun, and you can tell they were purposeful about the music selected, matching the timing of the video and highlighting the best kind of details. They also did a video booth for us, which turned out hilarious. Afterwards, they sent us a very thoughtful present which now sits on our photo table. The only regret we have is that we didn't get to hang out with them as much as we would've liked and that we don't have an immediate need to hire them again (We are looking for excuses. There's always a renewal of the vows). Hire these two ASAP. While we loved all our vendors, they are by far the best investment we made for the wedding.

Ridgewood created an excellent highlight film for us (edited to perfection, and exactly what were hoping for). Jamie and Brandon were incredible to work with on the wedding day too. I would recommend to anyone!

We do not have enough good things to say about Ridgewood Films! Brandon and Jaimie were so wonderful to work with from the very first moment we met them. You can see that they truly put their heart into all of their work. The video is something we will share with our families for years and is truly one of my favorite things from our wedding day. Jaimie and Brandon are so awesome! Before even signing a contract, they took the time to meet with us and ask us about what we wanted out of a wedding video and our plans for our wedding to make sure that they would be there for all the moments that meant the most to us. They were even more amazing on our wedding day - they were everywhere but also not in anyone's way - friends of ours didn't even know they were there! They made us feel so comfortable. They captured our day and made us a fabulous wedding video that we watch all the time and are SO HAPPY we have. I could gush all day about them and would highly recommend them!

Choosing Ridgewood Films made my wedding day absolutely complete. They were so amazing, and captured EVERYTHING about our wedding day. Jaimie and Brandon are the dream team for your wedding! They will make you feel comfortable even with a camera or two in your face (which is wonderful especially since my husband hates photos!). They made the trip down to Mexico for our wedding and everything went flawlessly. We will cherish our engagement and wedding videos forever and are always looking for an excuse to show them off!

The first thing that came to my mind about Jaimie and her husband is UNDERRATED!! They delivered high quality work at a such affordable price! My wife and I got married on July 2017 and we couldn't be any happier with the way our video turned out. First of all, Jaimie was really easy to work with. Jaimie and Brandon made sure that they had a strong understanding of what we were looking for in a wedding video. Secondly, they are super responsive. All the communications between were timely and we didn't even have to follow up on. They answered all of our questions prior to the big day. I also want to point our how prepare they were. Jaimie and Brandon made sure to meet with our photographer prior to our wedding to discuss the plan for the day of. They were very flexible to work and I believe because of this, they developed a working relationship with the photographer. Lastly, major shout out to Brandon for helping me with the boutonniere. None of us knew how to put it on properly so Brandon took a quick break from filming to assist me with that. Jaimie and Brandon are really passionate about capturing your big day. I can guarantee that they make sure to tailor the video to each couple so you don't have to feel like all of their videos are the same. My wife and I are highly recommending them if you are looking for the PERFECT videographer for your big day!!

Jaimie and her husband are amazing! Truly talented people! Jaimie was so easy to work with, and required very little from us. When we did have questions, she was quick to respond. We told her what we wanted in a wedding video and she delivered a high quality product for a very low cost considering what we got. They beautifully weaved our vows into images that perfectly captured the feel of our day. Her taste in music is amazing, they picked out songs that we had never heard but that were spot on for each part of the video. Our family and friends were blown away too. When you look at their videos on vimeo, they all have a really different feel. I was so impressed with their ability to make a video that is perfect for each couple. I feel like so often, wedding videos look really "cookie cutter." That is not what you will get with Ridgewood Films, they really drill down to customize a video perfect for you. The quality of the film itself is also really beautiful and soft looking. They also did a "love story" video for us. I would really recommend doing that as well. It is a cute little look into my husband and I's lives before marriage that I know we will treasure forever. Highly, high recommend!

Jaimie and her team did an absolutely FABULOUS job in capturing our wedding! They all made us feel so at ease and comfortable and the pictures turned out so well. I met with Jaimie in advance to talk about what was important to us and how we wanted to remember our day. I specifically wanted a company that did photography and videography together and that was a great decision. The video that she put together is so wonderful and captures so many details without being too long. Jaimie and her team arrived at the venue in plenty of time to take pictures of the preparations. They were there but I never felt that they were in the way. They identified some perfect spots at the venue to different types of photos and made it so easy. We had agreed upon the different family shots that we wanted and she made sure that we were capturing all of those as well. Jaimie did a great job of communicating through the whole process and I'm so happy that we selected her to be a part of our special day. I would highly recommend Jaimie and her team as a photographer and videographer. Can't say enough good things about them!!

Jaimie will go above and beyond every day for you to find out what it is you want, how you want it portrayed and even help you plan out the timing of your wedding day. She was a rock star when I emailed her constantly to update her on everything and on wedding day she made everything fun, light-hearted and super professional. When she set up meetings with us she had so much prepped and spoiled us with her generosity. Our gallery of images have blown us away! I've never seen pictures of myself that look so beautiful nor Thomas so handsome. She truly captured our pure joy, giddiness and love. I can't wait to order our canvas versions of our favorites and I've loved seeing our guests gawk at the quality of the images they are in! No single image was given less than 100%. We are so excited to see our video and to continue getting our photographs from Jaimie for all our future special moments :) She's worth every penny!

Jaimie was such a pleasure to work with! She shot our engagement photos this summer and they turned out beautiful! Her laid back personality made the photo shoot super easy and fun. We wanted to book her for our wedding as well but she was already booked! She felt bad about not being able to work on our wedding day that she gave us a discount on her services! My fiancé, Thomas, and I had our engagement photos done by Jamie and she did an amazing job. They are beautiful and she got them to us at rapid speed. The day after the shoot she had them in my email. The shoot was fun and relaxed. She was open to our suggestions and had a ton of ideas to help us out.
