Ridiculous DJ

Aran is amazing! For our ceremony we asked him to edit a song to cut out the middle and most of the vocals and he did a stunning job. He is a real artist. During the dancing at the reception he would mix one song directly into the next, no one had a chance to stop dancing for a second! We had a mix of guests in their 20s-60's and everyone had a good time, many of them complementing us on our music. He was very professional. His MC persona allows the bride and groom to remain the star while introductions and announcements are made. I will recommend him to anyone getting married in the future. Thank you Aran!

I had heard Aran perform at a wedding prior to booking him and was very pleased with his services. He was easy to work with and responsive to my numerous emails along the way. Aran took our ideas/requests and was able to create the party vibe that we wanted at our wedding. I received numerous compliments from guests and would highly recommend him to others.

Aran is seriously one of a kind! There are not enough words to describe how incredible Aran was throughout the process and the night of our wedding! I was so nervous about booking a DJ because I wanted someone who I could connect with. I don't know what it was about Aran but from the moment we first emailed I knew he was the DJ for us and he DID NOT disappoint! I am a huge music lover and had such high expectations. I am Latino and wanted an array of music and he made it happen. He was super affordable and so willing to go above and beyond for my partner and me. He went and checked out our venue to make sure our lighting choices and monogram would hook up fine and always made himself available. I didn't want a DJ that was going to make the reception about them and Aran did just the opposite. From the very first phone call he made it clear that he was there to make our day as amazing as it could be. He kept the dance floor packed all night. Everyone loved the music and he did what I wanted most which was for him to throw a party! I never needed to tell him what to do. He's so good at what he does and he communicated with the rest of our vendors to makes sure the night went smoothly. Anything we asked of him, he made happen, no questions asked. Aside from being great at what he does, he's just a nice, open-minded, genuine guy and that's what makes him so wonderful to work with. We can't thank him enough for giving us, our family and friends the best party of our lives!!

Aran was fantastic! My husband knew Aran from high school so when he said he'd gotten an old friend to DJ our wedding I was skeptical, but I had no reason to be. Aran played all the songs we requested and was a fantastic MC for our intro's and speeches. Everyone had such a good time and he picked great music for all ages to feel comfortable dancing to. He's also just a really nice guy. He was so approachable and easy to work with. If I were getting married again tomorrow I wouldn't call anyone else. Seriously, hire this guy!

We are so happy we were able to nab DJ Aran for our outdoor wedding a few weeks ago (although he might regret it - see the tropical storm at the end of the review). He was so responsive and organized through the whole process - I would always get emails or calls back right away when I had a question, and he was also great about keeping us on track and giving us a sample timeline to use. Best of all, we got multiple comments that our wedding music was the best they had ever heard, and that is all thanks to him. We wanted some classics but also some unique songs, like 20's jazz tunes all throughout cocktail hour, and it created the perfect atmosphere. He even stayed cool and collected when a crazy storm invaded our tent at the end of the evening - a complete professional who went above and beyond to make our night a success.

This company DJd our wedding and did an amazing job. The sound system was loud and clear and kept our 200 patrons clear on everything that was happening. Aaron was kind, very professional, and flexible to all our needs. He was a good MC, but more importantly he was a GREAT DJ! We told Aaron that dancing was a big priority for us and he really delivered a fun night. We gave him some examples of music we liked, and he filled in all the gaps. Highly recommended. Especially if you want a real professional AND a real DJ.

My husband and I used Aran for our recent wedding for our ceremony and reception music. Aran was awesome - he was willing to meet with us on a few occasions to walk through our ideas and give us some suggestions, even when we were out of his way. He was always available via email and phone if I had any questions or needed any suggestions for songs. My husband gave him a list of about 20 songs to play throughout the reception and he was able to use that to put together the perfect music for our wedding day. For our ceremony, I had specific versions of songs I wanted played and he downloaded all of them for me for the day of. Everything turned out great - he is a great MC and kept in touch with us throughout the day to make sure things were moving along and we were enjoying everything!

Aran was the best vendor at our wedding (Aug 31, 2013) by far. I can't convey in words how amazing he was. We only needed to meet with him once. He was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. During that meeting we gave him an idea of what we wanted. He delivered exactly what we had said plus more. Aran was extremely easy to get ahold of and was always on top of contacting us if he ever needed additional information. You really can tell that he loves what he does and knows what he is doing. The level of service he provided was beyond what we had ever imagined. Aran had everyone dancing and having a great time. He just knew exactly how we wanted our reception to flow. We recommended him to family members getting married soon after us. It was a joy to see him at their wedding giving them the same great service we had received. I would recommend Aran to anyone having a wedding or event in the future. He is the greatest!

My wedding has come and gone. I wasn't going to say anything, but when "The Knot" asked me to follow up I decided I should. I really liked the reviews, and wanted to use Rediculous DJ'd, but they never even bothered to return my calls OR e-mails. I contacted them with almost a years notice. Bad form.

We used Dj Just K (Chris) for our wedding in June. He was fantastic. He knew our style and the way we wanted the evening to go. He had everyone out on the dance floor and accommodated all of our crazy requests with a smile. I would recommend Chris to anyone getting married.

We worked with DJ Just K at our wedding and he was great! Played songs as soon as they were requested and really kept the vibe fun! People were dancing all night! He was entertaining and really understood our personalities. We highly recommend Chris (DJ K) for any event.

Aran is the best! You literally could not pry my guests off the dance floor! In fact, they couldn't even wait until dinner was over to start the party! Aran even wore his Gangnam Style socks in honor of our entrance song! I would certainly recommend him to everyone!

Aran did an absolutely amazing job. He was able to supply a small table for music during the cocktail hour and then everything needed for the reception which was located in a tent. He was always professional and timely with email responses. We did not want a run of the mill DJ with corny announcements or awkward moments. Aran did a perfect job with the introductions and timing our music for the father/daughter, mother/son dances and cake cutting. I emailed him hours before the wedding with the final selection for the father/daughter dance and he responded immediately and pulled it off without a hitch. I will recommend ridiculousDJ to my best friends for any event!

Aran was our DJ during our wedding on August the 25th, and I have only one thing to say... He was AWESOME!!!! Not only a great professional (the greatest of the people we hired), he was also a fantastic DJ! Helpful, available, prompt replies to emails, cheerful, we have the feeling that he was a great help in making this celebration even more special. He was there during the whole process when needed, helping us in the preparation of the ceremony and reception. He totally understood what we wanted and made it even better. The whole thing was a fantastic travel through music and music history that culminated in a fantastic reception where he got everybody to dance. He was able to go through a bunch of different styles as we asked him (rock, jazz, blues, classical music, crooners, a little bit of hip-hop, etc...), took our requests, and added songs that we didn't even think about but that were exactly what we wanted. We had a intercultural wedding (French groom, American bride), and he was able to accommodate requests, incorporate smoothly French songs (and was even able to add some that we didn't talk to him about, kudos!). He found a way to make it sound really natural. People weren't even realizing that they were dancing on songs they probably never heard before. During our wedding, our officiant and caterer were late, but thanks to Aran, we were able to keep our general schedule without to much trouble. Thanks Aran, we couldn't have found a better DJ! In the end, we would strongly recommend him to our friends if they were looking for a DJ. And if we ever need a DJ again, he will be the one that we will call! Aran was WONDERFUL!!! Before the wedding, he was always available to talk and quick to respond with helpful advice. He kept us organized, on schedule, and tailored our songs to be exactly what we asked for. His totally fun mix of past and current hits, from country to rock, kept everyone on the dance floor having a blast. I would definitely use Aran for other events!!1

I was recently married June 2nd, 2012 - Aran Keating from Ridiculous DJ was my DJ. From the very beginning he was prompt, professional, and genuinely interested in my plans. He had a great balance of services to provide for my budget. Aran executed my ceremony music perfectly and he didn't blink an eye when we swayed from our schedule plans during the reception. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ for their wedding day!!!
