ded about a month out that we wanted to add a Photo Booth, and despite the time crunch, Jay was able to get one for us. When we had our final meeting before the wedding, Jay went through every single detail with a fine tooth comb. He made sure he had the exact songs (and the exact versions too!) for each event, curated the perfect playlists, helped us decide on lighting and colors, and finalized our Photo Booth. He was able to asses the exact vibe my husband and I were going for, which was essentially party/club vibes, and he nailed it. My wedding was an absolute blast, the music was spot on, and my guests and I danced the night away. I couldn't have been happier with my decision to go with Jay and his team. They were kind, professional, and extremely easy to work with. They curated the perfect vibe for my wedding, and my guests kept talking about how much fun they had! My favorite part about the photo booth is that this company uses a real camera so the pictures actually come out so nice and they even gave us a jump drive at the end of the night with all of our guests photos. I have worked with many entertainment companies, being in the field, but now it was my turn to have the infamous "wedding DJ" for MY wedding. And, I can't thank him and his team enough! First, he makes sure you are "ok" and doing well in the planning process. If you're reading this review, it's because you can understand how much it means to have someone "check-in" on you... as wedding planning is a lot! He's not just a DJ. He will assist in providing you the best of the best experiences for your wedding. Unfortunately we had a very tough break with our wedding and found out only a few months before our wedding date, that our venue was going to be torn down. Literally, demolition was to begin 5 days before our initial wedding date. So we had to change our date in order to keep our destination venue that I fell in love with... and with only a few months notice, the change of date shaved off an entire month! With this, caused a lot more work in trying to figure out new vendors that would be available for my big day - including a photographer and a videographer. Jay reached out and basically said, "what can I help with?" And, oh my gosh, he helped me tremendously! I was striking out with all of my contacts for booking a photographer/videographer, as each of them were already booked. With his experience in the field, he rocked it out for me. He provided me a list of vendors that I knew I could trust and because of him I had an awesome team to support me on my biggest event of my life. It goes without saying that he is talented at what he does. He uses the best equipment and he has a way with a crowd on the dance floor that adds more energy and fun to the party. But, in addition to his talents, he and his team goes the extra step. For example, after he was done setting up and tearing down his equipment, he was helping me and my crew to set-up and tear-down all of my stuff! They were boxing up centerpieces, taking boxes to the car, etc. He and his assistant didn't leave until my whole crew left at the end of the night! He was literally by my side to support me in the grunt work and the behind-the-scenes, every step of the way. What sets RIG Entertainment apart from others is that Jay cares about you and your day. He will do whatever he needs to do to be sure that you are taken care of before, during and after, in the entire start-to-finish of your wedding process. His equipment is state of the art. He and the crew he provides with him is always professional, high energy and fun. AND, he treats you like family! A few days after my wedding was over, I'm talking to my mom about all the ups and downs. (Unfortunately, we had a very horrible experience again with the venue and their staff on the day of the wedding.) Anyway, I told her, 'thank God we had Jay. He helped me hire an all-star team of vendors." And before I could say another word, my mom said, "Oh my gosh, Jay is awesome! He definitely saved the day. He'll forever be family." You can tell he's very passionate at what he does, he has fun and he's just all-around the best! My husband and I can't thank Jay Rigdon with RIG Entertainment enough for being apart of our wedding. Now to the day of, he came in to check on me before the wedding even started. He helped make sure everything was perfect, and helped make sure I knew when to start walking down to the isle. He was so involved, and made the day fun. He not only made sure I was taken care of with food and drinks but he made sure my disabled mother in law was also taken care of too. With him in charge everything went perfectly as planned And if you have any surprises he's very good at keeping them. Everyone who attended my wedding constantly praises how amazing he was. I honestly could go on and on, theres so many amazing things to say about him. He not only was my DJ, but he's become someone I couldn't be more proud to call my friend. We chose his top end package, and it was well worth the money and suited our needs perfectly! He covered for our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception. Do not cheap out on the DJ, they literally can make or break your wedding! He has a huge song selection and many suggestions. He has an online database of songs to choose from categorized by first dance, intros, father and bride, to name a few. It made choosing songs easy because it can be surprisingly overwhelming picking songs for every little thing for your day. If you get stumped he has ideas and suggestions for you, that I guarantee you couldn't think of on your own! I personally waited around until the week of our wedding, and myself, my groom, and Jay all sat down and had my entire wedding planned in under a hour, and we had a fun time doing it! Jay was even nice enough to get our plates for dinner during the reception for the bride, groom, and wedding party; as well as making sure we all had drinks! That was an unexpected bonus! He has been doing this for years and has worked with many vendors. He actually has worked with our wedding photographer before and they synced well and worked together! That made a huge difference in how smooth our day went as we planned our wedding without a coordinator, and no one could tell the difference. He gets 5 stars across the board with me!

We had so much fun. He meticulously goes over every detail of your ceremony and reception, even asking if you would like certain songs to start / end at a certain point. I can’t even count the compliments we received during the wedding saying “wow this dinner music is great” some people even got up to dance during dinner! Eventually the genre switched from Motown and oldies to newer songs. He played something for everyone and it showed in how busy and fun the dance floor was. He read the room, was professional, nice and most of all FUN. Jay is incredible- if you are lucky enough to find he is available for your wedding date, do yourself a favor and book him.

When we first arrived to the venue he stayed with the girls while he was setting up and kept coming over to me to make sure I wasn’t stressed or kept telling me to breathe especially during a brief moment when I received a phone call that no one could find the groomsmen at the hotel and the van was ready to leave or when my coordinator needed to me the cake still hadn’t arrived. He was very strict on no requests during the reception without bride/groom approval even when my extremely drunk aunt was yelling at him. Everyone and RIG is phenomenal and I can not recommend them enough, if I ever need a DJ again I will be going straight to them, they own all their equipment and know the ins and outs of every other vendor I needed, if it wasn’t for them I would not have gotten the amazing officiant that did my ceremony which was beautiful.

We said to him that we had only one request, and that was to make sure that everyone was dancing at all times. Thats exactly what we got. Till the very last song, we had nothing but guests dancing. My husband and I too were on the dance floor for a good 2 hours and that's a lot for a wedding. I loved that he made us feel safe as far as having backup plan for everything. His voice on the mic was entertaining and the way he interacted with the crowd was above the call of duty. He was the best choice by far and we would do it again, and 3 more times with him. He played everything we asked for and more, plus he brought me a chocolate bar to the sweetheart table because he heard me complaining of a diet for a whole year. Who does that? Jay Rigdon does!!!! Because he is the best and everyone should hire him if they want a good party.

I told this to Jay and he immediately helped me calm down and explained how open he is to work with same-sex couples, veterans and any nationalities etc. I don’t think our day would have been complete without Jay! My sister got married this past weekend in another state- and afterwards my mom was like man I wish Jay and Trevor could have been there! There are many great DJ companies in Fort Myers but there is nobody that will compare to Jay. He goes above and beyond. He treats every couple like family and he takes the time needed to get to know the couple to make sure the day runs smoothly. Wedding planning is difficult. It is hard to find the right vendors to make sure that the day is unforgettable. Our easiest decision was using Jay and RIG Entertainment for our day! It was perfect.

It started with the choice of music – it was our choice, and the choice of family/friends that we shared a link with. Jay’s online application allowed us to select must play, want to play, and don’t play selections from a basically limitless library of choices. There’s nothing that we wanted to hear that we couldn’t find. As far as sound, Jay doesn’t just show up, set up the equipment, and stand back. He’s constantly looking at all of the factors (including in our case the wind) that could affect sound, and making adjustments where needed. As a DJ, he keeps the floor filled and the celebration moving. If some of the music selections (ours, not his) generate a lull, he was on the spot with a change in tone or commentary. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of Jay as a DJ, and enthusiastically recommend him without any reservations! As an added bonus, he has chairs for rental (reasonably priced) – our ceremony was outdoors, and we needed chairs. Instead of us having to find another vendor, Jay just showed up a bit early and set up the chairs. But again, if you need an MC, DJ, or chairs in any combination, you can’t go wrong with RIG Entertainment!

Trevor went above and beyond and we were just so happy to have him there with us during our wedding! Jay was awesome as well, he helped us plan our whole wedding timeline at one of our meetings with him.. He was patient and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have done it without him! We rented tables and chairs through Jay and that was very convenient and they were such nice quality. The photo booth was so much fun. All of our guests LOVED it! Everything was perfect! MAZING! We had an outdoor wedding and we ended up having to move the timing of our cake cutting up because it was going to rain! Trevor made sure we would be able to have our music for cake cutting before the rain hit! When it started raining we were still dancing under the gazebo! Thankfully, we were able to move the dance indoors! Trevor carried everything from outside to another building and he kept the music going! We have heard that other DJs/companies would NOT do this if it rained! We HIGHLY suggest Trevor from RIG entertainment!!
