The dance studio was very helpful and accomodating for any last minute reservations we wanted to make. Very professional and helpful!
My fiancee and I took dance lessons in order to make sure we didn't look like a couple of 12 year olds during our first dance. We didn't want anything choreographed and we didn't ...
want anything fancy - we just wanted to learn a basic step. And that is exactly what we got! We had one lesson with Nicole who really listened to us and taught us a basic box step. I didn't feel any pressure to buy the "wedding package" or to make the dance something I didn't envision. It was exactly what we wanted and our first dance was perfect.
Our daughter was married March 29, 2014 - she scared us with insistence my husband do a "real" father-daughter dance so we started dance lessons at Rigby's Jig with Nicole, who is ...
AWESOME! She is great working with people who come in not knowing what they are doing at all, helped us learn both slow and fast dances, getting through whole songs AND feel comfortable doing them in front of people. When my daughter (who lives in another state) arrived the week of her wedding, her dad was so comfortable with their dance that about 30 minutes with Nicole's help had them ready to rock the dance floor complete with an entrance and a finale - to applause, oohs and ahhs and jaws dropped. Nicole made DANCERS of us!
We wanted to learn the tango... yes, the tango, for our first dance. And yes, even my fiance wanted to as well! He gets frustrated when he can learn something new and do it right...
the first time anyway. So, obviously he got very grumpy at times learning a dance routine to the tango. But our instructor, Chris, hung in there with us. Put together a routine to our unique song we chose, and when it came down to that moment... I stumbled, but just a little ;)
Nicole worked with my dad and I for our father daughter dance. It was a special moment that we were able to share without having to worry about the dance moves on the wedding day b...
ecuase Nicole taught us so well. I also enjoyed dance lessons with my now husband. We had a great time creating a smash-up dance with Nicole!
I really enjoyed taking lessons with Nicole. She was so fun and upbeat... I learned a lot and it meant a lot to me, my dad, and my husband. I would highly recommend every couple ...
to take lessons, and to take them here!!
My groom and I took 5 lessons with Nicole, who was just a joy to work with. She helped us develop maneuvers for two different styles to use in our first dance. Nicole had great e...
nergy, helped us feel the timing of the music, and was so attentive. She stepped in when we needed clarification, and pushed us onto more complex maneuvers as we progressed in the lessons.
On our final lesson, we brought my dad in (he's terrified of dancing in public) and in 30 minutes, she taught him a step and a turn to use in our father-daughter dance. It was so great because it eased his nerves and he looked wonderful on the big day. Thanks, Nicole!
Eleanor and all of her staff are amazing dancers and wonderful teachers. They will cater to your own personal style and create a dance all your own for your special day!
