About this vendor
One of my favorite questions to ask wedding couples is the following: "If you were guests at your own wedding, what would you like to experience?" My goal is to work with brides and grooms to transform their answer into reality. I craft the ceremony to the bride's and groom's wishes. It can include religious ritual and secular content. I also officiate at interfaith ceremonies and am flexible about when a ceremony begins if it is on a Saturday. One of the reasons I wanted to become a rabbi was to help loving couples foster spiritual memories. I have learned that though the wedding ceremony lasts for minutes, its memories will last a lifetime. I look forward to working together to create a ceremony that captures the essence of your compassion, love and commitment.

Barry performed our wedding ceremony and we couldn't have been happier. We met with him 3 times before our ceremony. Each time was such a pleasure talking with and getting to know him. He asked great questions and truly cared about us and wanted to get to know us. Barry made our ceremony so special by adding personal touches about us and our families. Everyone was so happy with the ceremony he performed. They all said it was one of the best ceremonies they've witnessed (and we're one of the last of our friends to get married). I highly recommend Right Hand Rabbi to anyone looking for a special, personalized, unique, truly special wedding ceremony.
Barry Cohen was a fantastic rabbi officiant for our wedding!
During the ''interview," we knew right away Barry would be a great choice. He ensured us that the ceremony would match our Jewish identity and incorporate our personalities into the ceremony. We met three times: besides going over the ceremony outline, we discussed our relationship and goals as husband and wife. Barry was very friendly during this time.
When we finished the processional for the ceremony, we were nervous. Barry's first words just to us was "lets have some fun." That helped calm us down and be in the moment. Barry's personal words were perfect. His first sentence alone summarized our relationship in a nut shell so well that everyone laughed in agreement. For only meeting three times and crafting a personal speech demonstrates how much the wedding process means to Barry.
All in all, you cannot go wrong with Barry Cohen and Right Hand Rabbi.
He will develop a ceremony that displays your Jewish identity and personalities very well.
