Riniker Rhythm

Could’ve been better. We had our wedding at Oak Hill in Apple River which is an extremely large property. All of our guests were all over the place and I kept having to gather them up because the DJ wouldn’t call for people to come back to do the fun things like garter toss, bouquet toss or anything. I had to tell him every time we were doing something so he would change the music- our first dance, my husbands dance with his mother, garter toss, bouquet toss, etc. We didn’t get to do our cake cutting because he never announced it. So my husband and I just grabbed our photographer and had our cake just ourselves. None of our guest saw because it was never announced. He had the timeline and everything. The only thing that got mixed up was our sunset photos because it was cloudy so our photographer talked to him and said everything else is still on track, but that. The music was good. Don’t get me wrong. I was very disappointed because this company came highly recommended. We were supposed to have 2 DJ’s there and only one showed. Lastly, after our ceremony the song that we were to walk out to was played late. It felt awkward just standing there but I understood technical difficulty. I still would recommend Jake as a person. He was nice and super responsive, but I wouldn’t recommend his staff. The evening stunk because nothing was announced or on time.

WE LOVE JAKE! We had a Sunday wedding 09.20.2020. Jake kept the crowd going all night. Everyone has been messaging us after the wedding saying it is the best wedding the have ever been too. Jake followed our requests of not playing some songs as well. We have absolutely ZERO complaints.

We loved working with Jake!! It is so important to hire a DJ that has a fun, easygoing personality and we are so happy with our choice! We went with the up lighting and photo booth and our guests had an absolute blast. Jake was quick to answer any questions and made our big day run seamlessly! Matt was an awesome DJ at our wedding. He listened to what we wanted & didn’t want and followed through throughout the whole night. The dance floor was packed 100% of the night. For my husband and I that was incredibly important. We love to dance and wanted to be out there the whole night and that was what we did. We were married at the Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena and Jake and Eric made our wedding day unforgettable. We had a little hitch before the ceremony that was mostly an oversight on my part and it was quickly resolved day of due to the responsiveness of Jake. During the reception they were so great at reading the crowd. I had such a hard time running out to the bathroom because I didn't want to miss the next song! The very last song had literally, every single person joining making a circle and swaying. We even have a friend who thinks bands are much better than Dj's and they couldn't believe how great these guys were. The friend even asked me if I'd created the whole play list and I said nope probably only 8 songs or so were must plays! During this entire wedding planning process all I wanted was to wear a beautiful dress and dance all night and these guys made my dream came true!

Total mic drop. Matt did amazing! He kept everything running smoothly and kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end! I requested a hodge podge of 90s, 00s, today's hits and country music. He honestly touched on all of those. I also had a few restrictions and he totally abided by them. The night went to amazingly, I can't say enough great things about this company. We also had uplighting and I don't like too much color so they did every other white and purple and it was absolutely gorgeous! I hope I get to go a wedding where they are the DJ because they were that good.

All of our wedding guests had SO much fun and I credit a lot of that to our awesome DJ, Parker with Rinicker Rhythm. Everything from speeches to first dance to bouquet/garter toss went so smoothly thanks to Parker! Clear communication leading up to the big day, we were not worried in the least and had no reason to be!

Jake is wonderful to work with. Super fun, upbeat, and has awesome ideas to stand out from other DJs. I picked Riniker Rhythm as they were familiar with my somewhat remote venue at Oakhill Weddings. I booked him fairly far in advance and enjoyed all the online payment options. As the wedding got closer he was very difficult to get a hold of though. With multiple emails sent and no reply back I went to leaving voicemails and then was finally able to reach him by going through their online portal. I liked their online survey to help figure out our taste in music and he called to follow up a few days before the wedding and to make sure we were on the same page. The wedding went great except for a mix up with the shuttle service we provided our guests. Both on the survey and while on the phone we mentioned there were 2 shuttles back but for some reason he mentioned multiple times there was only 1. I didn't hear the first times he said it and my guests went into panic mode and the bus that was there was held. Needless to say after talking with the driver and calming all the guests down and ensuring another shuttle will be there later the party went on. I'm not sure where this came from and it through everyone for a loop. Other than that it was a great time and people had fun. I would recommend him but just make sure you have all your ducks in a row and are clear on your expectations.

We did the dj and photo Booth package and it was so worth it. There was a waiting line the whole time and people loved getting a print out. The music was fun and was exactly what we wanted to get everyone dancing the entire time!

I had high hopes for these DJs as we had several conversations on the phone prior to the wedding and I thought we were good to go. Was very disappointed that the playlists that my husband and I spent countless hours and nights working on for the cocktail hour and reception were completely ignored. The music was such a huge deal to us to set the tone for the evening. I really wanted this to work out because I did like the guys that I had chatted with on the phone, they just didn't seem to care about us once the night approached.

Jake was professional, intuitive, and soo fun! We loved our whole experience working with him. My family dances to salsa and Spanish music while my husband's family likes old dance classics. Jake did a wonderful job keeping everyone happy and on the dance floor. He checked in with me throughout the night which I really liked too. We booked Riniker Rhythm for our wedding. They provided DJ service and the photobooth. They did a great job from the grand march to the very last song. They kept the dance floor packed the entire night and knew how to keep the tempo alive. Jake did an amazing job involving the crowd and playing the songs we wanted. The photobooth was a huge hit! I would recommend it to anyone! They provided a book that included the pictures in it and also gave us a flash drive with all the pictures so we could view them. We never laughed so hard! Our only disappointment was with the props for the photobooth. We rented them through Riniker Rhythm thinking there would be a variety. Unfortunately there was just a few lips and mustaches on sticks. Otherwise we were thoroughly impressed.

Jake is a true professional! He really understands the deejay business, even at his young age. He follows up on time and knows how to talk to people (and put a nervous mother-of-the-bride at ease). He is very personable and knows how to keep people on the dance floor (albeit at the expense of not playing a few requested songs). The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT!!! He provided a very high quality job at a very reasonable rate, especially compared to the other services I priced out. We really enjoyed working with him! Jake’s equipment is top notch. It provides loud music without the usual ear ringing effect of a high volume. People were able to converse without screaming and didn’t have raspy voices the next day. He also walked around and monitored the sound levels throughout the evening. Jake was very concerned and aware of people’s comfort . Bottom line: Great service at a great price! No regrets here! If he’s available, hire him!

Riniker Rhythm is amazing! Thanks to them everything for our wedding was perfect! The music was great! The photobooth made for an awesome time for all our guests! One word to describe Riniker Rhythm...AMAZING! I had never heard of Riniker Rhythm or been to a wedding reception where they were DJ-ing. I searched online for a DJ service that was in the area that our wedding reception was going to be taking place and came across them. All of the reviews were 5 stars so I assumed they would be worth a try. All of the reviews were spot on! Jake was great to work with. Very easy to talk to and had great ideas for the evening. During the reception, everyone was dressed professionally. Jake made sure to come up to us and go over things to make sure every detail was covered throughout the evening. He also did a great job of keeping things on time and organizing everyone for the grand march. Within 30 minutes of the dance starting, numerous people came up to tell us how great our DJ was and how much fun they were having. A week later we are still getting compliments. The dance floor was packed all night to the very end! Overall, we could not have asked for a better DJ service. The photo booth addition was a nice touch as well. The attention to detail, the positive attitude throughout the reception, and the ability to create a fun atmosphere for everyone was well above our expectations. We have already recommended Rinikier Rhythm to several other engaged couples in search for the perfect DJ. A great DJ can make your reception a night to remember and Riniker Rhythm will make your reception a night your friends and family will never forget.

Jake was great from beginning to end. He had a really reasonable travel fee to come to our wedding in Illinois. He also helped me think of some of the details I had no clue I had overlooked. He made sure the evening progressed smoothly and kept our guests entertained. He had the dance floor packed by his second song, and it was full basically all night. Would HIGHLY recommend working with him. Also, we elected for the photo booth add on. AWESOME. Guests were given a copy of their photo and we were made an album of all the ones taken. We used the photo in concert with the place card holder (a frame) as our favors instead of the mints or trinkets. It was perfect.

I received numerous inquiries about where I acquired my DJ, lighting, and photo booth and I only had to say two words Riniker Rhythm. They were 100% professional, and provided a great time for all ages at our wedding. People were in line all night to use the photo booth, the people were enjoying the dance floor, and I was exciting to add the lighting to the decoration of the room. It really made the place pop! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

There are too many great things to say about this DJ service. Out of the dozens of vendors we dealt with on our big day Jake and his team were the one crew that we could count on to get things right. From the lighting to the photo booth and the music everything was AMAZING. Our wedding seated over 400 people for dinner and by the end of the night over 500 people walked through the door to join the party. Being a Catholic wedding the festivities began very early in the day (1:30p.m.). We were concerned that the party would die off early. Riniker Rhythm was able to strategically keep things moving and their music selection had the dance floor PACKED until we had to shut down at midnight. Guests were also thrilled by the photo-booth and the souvenir copy of their photo's. We were honestly shocked at what a hit this was. We now have a scrap book with all of the fun pictures our guests took which is far more valuable than any guestbook. One of the great things about their service is their ability to get any song on demand. Guests loved being able to request songs and hear them within the next few selections. The Music and the photo booth were the single-most talked about items from the entire event. If you want your night to truly be memorable and to give your guests an unforgettable experience Riniker Rhythm is definitely the way to go!

Riniker Rhythm is one of the best DJ services in the Dubuque, IA area. Not only was the music great, but he was very good at getting our guests involved and interacting with everyone. We also had their photobooth service and that was so much fun! We got many compliments on both the DJ and photobooth so this business is really recommended!

We decided to have Riniker Rhythm as a vendor at our wedding and we were so pleased. I would not have changed one thing or wanted anyone else to be our DJ. Jake was so personable and friendly. He talked to us before the wedding so that he could get an idea of what we wanted. All the guests were so pleased and had so much fun. Jake had people getting out of their chairs and dancing. It was just such a blast! We had a small wedding and everyone there kept complementing the music and the photobooth. Yes, they provided a photobooth which was so much fun! All of us had a good time going in and taking pictures. He even personalized our pictures and they all came out great! Jake also provided us with beautiful lights that lit up the room perfectly. And it was all included in the price. Even Jake's employees were so kind and friendly. They came out and danced with us. We all had such a great time! And the music was great too! There was a lot of variety but everything we wanted. We were able to request songs and songs we did not want he never played. It was a perfect combination of music! My husband and I are really big into music and we wanted it to be perfect and it was. And there were not a lot of slow songs which was exactly what we wanted! The music during the cocktail hour and dinner were perfect too. I would definetly recommend Riniker Rhythm to anyone that wants to have a good time at their wedding! His price was great considering he was there for over 6 hours and we had the photobooth too! I can honestly say how happy we both were at the end of the night! We got married last summer, and hired Riniker Rhythm. We were looking for a good DJ experience for our wedding, but our expectations were far exceeded. They were very professional, worked very hard to give us exactly what we wanted on our wedding day, blew away everyone in the room with the fabulous up-lighting and created the coolest wedding activity with the photo booth. It has been 5 months since our wedding, and everyone still talks and raves about the photo booth and the DJ we had that day. We show the photo booth book off more often than our actual wedding photos. Riniker Rhythm took our wedding day to the next level. The special effects, photo booth and professionalism are second to none. If you want a great DJ experience at your wedding, you absolutely have to use Riniker Rhythm!!

I had every faith in Riniker Rhythm from the moment we booked them. Jake met with us and my parents at our house and walked through everything with us. He was very professional, courteous, and open to our ideas. I felt very confident in the plan he helped us develop as it was tailored to our specific "big day" desires. I have recommended Riniker Rhythm to everyone I know in the Platteville/Dubuque area who is planning a wedding. He was the DJ at our wedding, and he did an amazing job! I have been a guest at many of Jake's weddings. He has a very modern style that pleases not only the younger generation but the older generation as well. He always knows how to get people up and their feet and moving to the music. He is a very fun, outgoing dj and is by far the best of the best! My oldest daughter was married last year and being the mother of the bride I attended some of her friend's weddings with her to get ideas on cakes, flowers, photographers and DJ's. I attended several wedding dances where Riniker Rhythm was the DJ. The owner/DJ, Jake, was wonderful. Very energetic without being obnoxious, professional and well groomed (he wore a tux) he got the crowd going (young and old) and really seemed to take great pride in what he was doing. We ended up booking Riniker Rhythm for her wedding dance and was not disappointed in any way. He also had a photo booth that was a HUGE hit. I did not know what to expect with that but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the services. I would highly recomment Jake & Riniker Rhythm for any occassion, especially weddings. Barbara

I have known Jake for years as he has been the DJ service for many of my close friends’ weddings as well as other area functions. He has always impressed me with his impeccable taste in music as well as his ability to get even the most timid of people out on the dance floor and enjoy their time. I booked Riniker Rhythm for our wedding in June 2009 and was again blown away by his professionalism as well as his incredible knack to make every event the success it should be! His lighting system, monogram options, high quality sound system and hilarious photo booth really set the mood for the evening! Fun was had by all and there was hardly any empty room left on the dance floor! AMAZING considering how quiet my side of the family is! While getting married was definitely the highlight of my day, Jake from Riniker Rhythm was there to make the night truly unforgettable and made sure that we had absolutely everything we wanted ~ and for that, I will never be able to thank him enough! First off Jake and Riniker Rhythm had everything we wanted. Our list included a fun, professional DJ, Up-Lighting, Monogram Lighting, and a Photo Booth. He set up the night before and made the room look amazing! The Monogram light MADE the pictures of our first dance, and Our photographer was impressed with how helpful he was. She could not say enough good about him, and neither could our friends and family! The whole night went really smooth, and all 600 people stayed the whole night, because there was so much entertainment. Jake filled the dance floor, and followed all of my request. He did all the little things that made the night special to me, and that is why I am so glad we had Riniker Rhythm as our entertainment. They are a must have at weddings!

We have seen Riniker Rhythm at many weddings around our area, and we were glad he was available for our wedding! Because we have seen them so many times, it was important to us that they made our wedding unique; and they sure did. We loved the Lighting they used to go with our theme colors, and many guest complemented how nice the hall look from the lights. We also had the Photo Booth, because they offer a package deal, and we are glad we went with the Booth! It was a lot of fun! The best part of the night was seeing everyone on the dance floor having a blast! You won't believe how many people said this was the best wedding ever! I have had only GREAT experiences with Riniker Rhythm!! My husband and I had Jake as our DJ six years ago at our wedding. Everyone had an amazing time on the dance floor. The men at the wedding especially liked the YMCA song. Jake fulfilled all of our request. Since our wedding, my husband and I have been to a number of weddings with Riniker Rhythm. We always have a great time! I will continue to recommend Riniker Rhythm to others. The added Memory Shots photo booth is also Amazing! Please add this to your event package. You will not regret it.

Riniker Rhythm did an amazing job at our July wedding. We had a budget to stick to, but made room to book the Memory Shots photo booth as well. WELL WORTH IT!!! The photos are priceless and it was really a great value as well as a surprise most of our guests didn't expect. Jake played music that got people on the floor and they stayed there the whole night. He also fit in some fairly odd requests at just the right times which meant a lot to us and our family. Our guests had a great time and are still commenting on how much fun they had--much of that is attributed to Jake and his staff. They were professional and fun, AND did not use our wedding as a marketing event. Basically, Riniker Rhythm is the way to go. Highly recommended!

I met Jake by chance while he was doing another event (not a wedding), and I am so glad I booked him! Months after our wedding we are still hearing about how much fun guest had at our wedding. My husband and I dance the whole night along with most of our guests. Jake went out of his way to make our day perfect! If he isn't busy the date you need him...book him!
