Rio Bamba has been performing for 10 years and has appeared on television and radio numerous times with many appearances on ABC TV, FOX TV, WGN TV, WFLD TV, WTTW TV, WBEZ, and WDCB.
Rio Bamba plays all styles of music, American Jazz, Brazilian Jazz, Rock, Blues, World Music and the group sings in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Russian and Romanian. Weddings, birthdays and corporate events are our favorite events to play. We know how to play underneath the conversation, as a soothing background group, or equally, as a up front high energy dance band.
