e an honest review for future couples. Unfortunately, our experience with Maylina as the DJ for our wedding on April 11, 2026 was very disappointing. Before the ceremony even began, there was no equipment set up — no microphones or speakers until the very last minute. It created unnecessary stress, and one of our family members actually had to help get everything ready in time. While I requested music to begin during dinner, the volume throughout the night was consistently much louder than expected. I had provided a list of preferred songs and genres ahead of time, including a good amount of country music, but none of those songs were played. Instead, the music heavily focused on EDM, which was completely different from the atmosphere we discussed and wanted for our wedding. Even more frustrating, several songs that I specifically requested not be played were still included. I had also provided a detailed timeline in advance that aligned with our photographer and reception schedule. Despite that, throughout the night I was repeatedly approached with questions about announcements and timing for songs and events. As the bride, I shouldn’t have had to coordinate the flow of the evening during the wedding itself. We still tried our best to enjoy the night, but many guests ended up leaving earlier than expected because of the music and overall flow of the reception. After putting so much time and effort into planning our wedding, it was upsetting to see things handled so poorly. I normally prefer to handle issues privately, but after receiving no response, I feel it’s important for future couples to know about our experience.
