Jessica was arguably the best dollar-for-dollar spend of our whole wedding alongside maybe the venue itself.
My wife was a long-time swing dancer, I was a long-time practitioner o...
f moving my body lightly side to side and looking awkward. Somehow, in a very brief time, Jessica put together a custom routine on Carla Bruni's "Moon River" that was so wonderful it is still talked about to this day by everyone who was there. Most importantly, Jessica taught me that I could, in fact, dance.
Jessica has a few key strengths that we appreciated:
First, Jessica both was willing to take a lot of input in what we were looking for, which itself isn't that amazing, but also was extremely good at knowing HOW to work with two people who have no choreography experience, take our thoughts, and translate them into things we didn't even know we wanted. In the end, we got a highly personal routine that we loved and felt very "us." While she was, realistically, entirely at the controls of the choreography (thank god), it very much felt like a joint effort.
Second, Jessica is an excellent instructor, and given the multiple lifts in our routine, made sure we did everything correctly and safely. She knew what parts we needed to practice, and how to do it, making excellent use of frankly our objectively limited amount of time. We did not need to practice that much on our own to get ourselves from 0 to 100. In the end, the package gave us exactly the amount of time we needed with Jessica - she's a very focused and experienced instructor.
Finally, Jessica was a wonderful person to work with both because she was clearly so capable and also so pleasant. She was encouraging, insightful, and firm when she needed to be. She knew exactly how to motivate us and keep us on track with the short time from starting to our wedding. She even came out the day before to do a final on-location rehearsal in the spot we would be dancing in to make sure we had there right positioning cues for the big day.
I cannot recommend Jessica enough. If you want a routine that will get the crowd's waterworks going and that you'll remember for the rest of your life, give her a call.

of salsa and how to make me look good when dancing. I knew she would be the perfect person to choreograph my first dance at my wedding and she did not disappoint. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable and I’ll always cherish the practices we had together, laughing, making mistakes, and having fun. It all contributed to such an amazing dance at our wedding. I would definitely hire her if you’re looking for a supportive, knowledgeable, and engaging choreographer!

l my guests. Not only is Jessica multitalented, but she is also the most humble, welcoming, and confidence-boosting visionary with the utmost attention to detail. She incorporated everything AND MORE than my husband and I could have expected for our first dance and our surprise dance which was SO FUN. I have always loved the idea of a surprise dance, but never in a million years did I think someone could convince me to actually do it (hubby and I did a hip-hop dance together and even surprised him with a sexy dance which he loved!). She really believes in her clients and will be your #1 hype woman. I felt so empowered, beautiful, and fierce!! LOOK NO FURTHER... She is the answer to all of your perfect wedding dance/dances hopes and dreams.
