Story time! So we finally made it to Lucca! Let me say, it did NOT dissapoint! Yes we all know the reputation its had of being “stuck up, over priced, black tie formal, too fancy for Bordentown”, etc. Im happy to report, that it was not any...
of that! They have become signifigantly more relaxed on rules and pricing as well. Walking in reminded me of the scene in Titanic when Jack walks into the first class dining room for the 1st time. It was exactly that! The decor, the ambiance, and violins playing in the background, literally felt like walking into the movie. Its Classy, elegant, and beautifully decorated. Multiple staff greeted us on the way to our table and welcomed us to the restaurant. The Service and attention to detail was impeccable the entire dinner service! Great cocktail menu and wine list, very reasonably priced. Similar to other fancy steak houses in the area . $13-$20. Dinner menu pricing was comparable as well. Most expensive thing on menu was $68. I’ve definately seen worse.
We had the appetizer special, burrata with pan fried speck, filet mignon, the fish special - table side filet red snapper, bottle of champagne, and tiramisu dessert.
We didnt “cheap out” and just get pasta and a salad. We ate just how we would normally eat at any other nice restaurant and total bill was $240. We went in expecting a $400 meal, but pleasantly surprised, it was not! Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! After diner, we went to Piano bar for the live music , and that was a very cool atmosphere. The bar was beautifully lit, barentender made a perfect maragita and a delicious pomegranat martini. The manager Sean chatted us up and offered some free tequila tastings, which was a nice treat. Start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. My only regret was not going sooner! 10/10 highly reccomend!

If anyone's looking for a truly top-tier Italian restaurant, you must try this place! It's classy in that old-school way, with an iconic movie vibe-- the kind of place where you have expect Al Pacino to stroll right through the door! On Sunday ...
nights they even have a piano player who sounds like Billy Joel and he'll play Frank Sinatra or anything you request.
The food was phenomenal! I had the lamb chops, the most tender meat I've ever had in my life. The service is outstanding and yes when you open the meme, it glows!!

It's a rare gem in the area. A refreshing old-school italian blast from the past. We enjoyed the live music between a violinist blue toothed to a modern playlist at dinner to the live jazz band & singer in the piano lounge for dessert.
I loved...
the appetizers and pasta. Enjoyed the fish and chicken entrees, but the filet and veal chop left a little more to be desired due to the light seasonings.
As a whole and excuse to get out and fine dine this place offers a rare experience and will be in our dinner category we will frequent with more often.
