River & Roots Ranch is a 246-acre working ranch and wedding venue nestled along 1.2 miles of the St. Marys River in Bryceville, North Florida. We are a family-owned property, and when we say that, we mean it. This land is where we live, where we farm, and where we are building something we hope will outlast us.
The centerpiece of the property is a custom cypress log home built in 2008: 4,114 square feet of interior living space with soaring cathedral ceilings, two stone fireplaces, heart pine floors throughout, and 3,913 square feet of covered wrap-around porches that look out over sweeping pastures and old-growth forest. It is the kind of place that feels immediately familiar, like somewhere you have always wanted to be.
When you book River & Roots Ranch, you have the entire property to yourselves, all 246 acres, the lodge, the grounds, the river, and the silence that comes with being truly away from it all. Your ceremony can take place on the natural ceremony lawn backed by ancient trees. Your reception can spill across the porches, the pastures, or down to the river. There is no cookie-cutter layout here. The land shapes the day.
We include tables, chairs, and linens for up to 150 guests in every package. You bring your vision and your vendors, or let us connect you with our preferred team of North Florida photographers, florists, caterers, and more who know this property and love shooting here.

We got married this past May, and somewhere between the vows and the dancing, we made a decision that changed everything. We were going to stop dreaming about a different kind of life and actually build it. River & Roots Ranch is that life. Savannah leads the day-to-day heart of the ranch as Chief of Operations. She oversees the wedding venue, manages our growing team of preferred vendors, and is the person who will walk you through the property, answer every question, and make sure your wedding day feels as effortless as it looks. She also runs our working sustainable farm, tending the land, growing food with intention, and building the kind of regenerative operation we are proud to call home. If you have ever wanted your wedding flowers grown on the same land where you say your vows, you are in the right place. Abraham runs the hunting and men's retreat side of the ranch guided experiences built around the land, the river, and the kind of stillness that is genuinely hard to find anymore. He knows this property the way most people know their own backyard, and he brings that same depth and care to every experience he leads. Together we are building River & Roots as a place where people come to reconnect with each other, with the land, and with what actually matters.
