Great location near our home and families. Onsite parking available. Tables, chairs, linens included. Very reasonably priced. Access to the golf course during golden hour for photos. No need for outside catering, as they have options for everything from appetizers, to plated dinners, buffet dinners, and desserts. Paid in advance for the space, then paid for food the week before the wedding. Staff was very nice, professional, quick to respond, attentive. I couldn't recommend this venue enough!

We had our wedding here in June and I can't say how well they did. Accommodating before hand for checking set up, meal choice and assuring us an easy day. To the day of, all was set up for our finishing decorations, they had plenty of staff for drinks, dinner and throughout the day and everyone was kind and helpful. The food was delicious and flavorful, so much that many guests commented about how good it was after. While it's not the flashiest place, the outside pictures turned out beautifully and everyone had a great time with plenty of space. Plus we used the bags and bocce ball areas and our guests enjoyed having more things to do. Might take a little bit to respond to emails only because they are always going and helping.

My wedding turned out amazing! I ended up having to move my ceremony inside but the staff were so accommodating and really helped make my dream come true! I got several compliments on how well the bartending staff was! Definitely recommend!

I could not have asked for a better venue. The clubhouse and grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and they make it easy for you to go from a romantic ceremony to a rocking reception with no hassle, and for a fantastic price. The food was amazing, and I heard the same opinion from many guests after the event (we're definitely going back a few times to eat at the Grill!). The outdoor access is a huge bonus, some of the kids had fun playing football and people enjoyed drinks and conversation under the string lights of the patio. The staff were a large part of the reason my wedding day went perfectly. We were able to set up the night before and Courtney was on hand to answer our questions and give us helpful advice, and she was also there the next day running the show like a champion. Huge thanks to her and Jamie for their assistance and professionalism, and to Dennis for helping us make all the arrangements. The whole planning process was very low-stress and easy, even when I missed the tasting and had to reschedule. My one suggestion would be to bring your own amplification/sound if you like it a little louder, we had some trouble hearing the sound system while dancing and had to use our own. Otherwise, the venue is beautiful, the people are fantastic and it's an absolutely unbeatable value. You will not regret having your wedding here.

I couldn't have chosen a better place for our special day. Chef James was very helpful from the beginning and other members of the golf course worked very hard. My guests couldn't say enough about amazing service and food!! Food was fantastic. Golf course itself was beautiful. We had an outdoor wedding and the view of the river was beautiful. Thank you River oaks golf course for making our day extra special and it was everything I have imagined and more. I highly recommend River oaks golf for your special events.

Fell in love with this venue. I am a budget-conscious bride and found River Oaks to be one of the cheapest options in the Twin Cities with an incredible view, beautiful patio/venue, and extremely flexible coordinator (Sue!). Was the perfect place for our wedding- can't say enough!

I spent tons of time mulling over who to go with for a reception location. When I walked into River Oaks, I was sold almost immediately. The venue is beautiful, and it was incredibly reasonable in cost. Sue, the wedding coordinator, was beyond helpful in responding to my many questions over the course of planning my wedding, and she did so in a very timely manner. When time came for the big day, I couldn't have been happier with the service we received at River Oaks. Everyone knew what they were supposed to do, and things ran very smoothly. All of my guest were amazed at how fast the food was served, and they thought the food was delicious (as did I). The setting in the back of the club is beautiful for outdoor pictures, and some of my favorites are the ones from the green. They even let us borrow a golf cart for some fun and unique pictures! I would recommend this vendor without hesitation!

As soon as I found the River Oaks Golf Course I knew this is where I would have my wedding reception! Sue was so good in planning and making sure everything was ready! The place is beautiful!

The space was perfect for our wedding and Sue, the wedding coordinator was amazing to work with. The space was beautifully decorated for us and the food was amazing!! I would highly recommend!

River Oaks was a great location within 20 minutes of the ceremony site. I researched a lot of potential reception sites and River Oaks was the site that offered the best options for the best price. Sue, the wedding/banquet coordinator, was very helpful and made sure that I got what I wanted at the reception. The site is flexible with time, space, and decor. All the extra charges over the minimum food/drink are presented clearly ahead of time, but can still add up quickly. Definitely worth the money!

I used River Oaks Golf Course for our ceremony and reception. Our day was amazing! The food was great there and the service was great. The only thing I would say is a downfall is, they say they can hold 275 people. We only had 215. The room felt pretty crowded! It was hard to move around the room during dinner. The dance floor is a decent size but could be bigger. They charge $595.00 to use their gazebo as a ceremony space but then we had to spend another $450 to have chairs for people to sit. They did set up and take down everything other than the centerpieces which made things far less stressful!
