ue. My fiancé and I both immediately turned the car around and checked out the property. We saw the potential and immediately emailed the event manager, Shayla. Though there were some lapses in communication at times, Shayla truly went over and beyond for our wedding. As the date approached closer and closer, she was emailing about details and double checking things I had not even thought of. She plays the role of Event coordinator on the day of but she surpassed what we expected she would do for us on the day of. The week of the wedding the weather was looking bad so we decided on a tent and Shayla handled everything and coordinated with all the vendors leading up the event, including our DJ. On the day of she was by our side immediately if we needed anything and kept everything flowing if there was a problem. One of the biggest pros of having our wedding here was Shayla handled all of the decorating like a pro. I had boxes of decorations and a few specific things to be hung and she remembered every little detail I said and made it even more perfect. Sometimes it was hard to imagine how things were going to be but after seeing how flawlessly everything flowed, she not only made the day perfect for Me and my husband, but our guests are still raving about how magical and perfect the event was. Also- the view is amazing and the patio is perfect for any bride wanting a Forrest, whimsical, outdoor wedding. i am also so happy we added our clear tent to the patio because it made the space feel that much more special. Oh- and the FOOD! You do food through the venue. They just got a new Chef who is wonderful! Food for us was always more of a thought “As log as it is edible” we didn’t put too much stress on it. But omg, the steak , king salmon, and garlic mashed potatoes were out of this world. So many people came up to us that night raving about how delicious the food was and continued talking about it the next day. OUr tasting was also incredible. Everything as awesome. ful and easy to work with, and the food was great. Even with no water in the river (due to the drought in California), the scenery was still beautiful. The deck with the outside bar, dancing space and vintage vibe of the hotel crates a rustic atmosphere and ease for guests to mingle.

e can say! The rooms are adorable! The booking of the venue and rooms is as easy as can be! The food.... we can't even put into words how amazing the food was! We went with the buffet option and chose a package that included fish, meat, salads, pastas, and every delicious delectable thing in between that we wanted. At first, we were a little hesitant to have our wedding at a venue where the food was all done on-site, but it turns out, they do this because they know they can guarantee how amazing their food is when it's all done in-house! Our guests told us for weeks after the wedding, how amazing the food was. The bar, oh the bar! Linda and my groom picked out their exact favorite preferences for beer and wine, and the rest is history. Amazing. I was "that crazy woman" who did all of the decor and wedding detail planning herself, and Linda was SO accommodating to all of my crazy ideas and thoughts! ckee River. It was so gorgeous. The food was amazing and the bartenders were so patient and went out of their way to make our guests happy. We looked at a few other venues around Lake Tahoe but are so happy we chose the River Ranch. It really was worth every penny! One of the best things about having it there too was we got to have a lot of our friends and family stay at the River Ranch's Lodge. This was so convenient for everyone! For those guests that didn't get a room, they rented condos which were only a few steps from the venue! So convenient.
