After our engagement session, covid hit. Ali was very accommodating and kind. She was always quick to respond and able to communicate on multiple platforms. I was amazed that she left our wedding at 9pm and was able to have edited pictures to us by morning. fter my fiancé and I got engaged and decided to plan an intimate wedding in less than 3 months in light of COVID-19. I had previously followed Ali on social media and loved her work, so I was thrilled to hear she was available to be our photographer on such short notice! Ali was simply a pleasure to work with and is the perfect blend of talent, work ethic, and personality! She was very punctual in all of our communication, gave us awesome suggestions for photo locations, and took almost an hour out of her busy schedule to talk with me on the phone a few days before the wedding to go over logistics and come up with weather contingency plans (that thankfully were not needed)! The day of our wedding, Ali visited the church early to check out the venue, lighting, and landscape before coming to my parent’s house. Ali wore a mask at all times, was very friendly and respectful, and also worked so well with my young niece and dog! During the ceremony, she captured the big moments and small details, all while blending into the background at the church! She was able to efficiently capture our long list of family photos both inside and outside the church before my husband and I snuck away with her to North Park, where she made us feel so comfortable and natural taking photos together as a couple. I love that she incorporated music in our post-ceremony session for me and my husband! She played music from one of our favorite artists in the background, and we later shared our first dance under a tree with a beautiful fall sunset, all while Ali was taking beautiful photos! When the day was done, she spent more time with us than we expected (at no additional cost), which we really appreciated so we could take advantage of a scenic sunset! To top it off, Ali sent us our sneak peek of 50 edited photos within 3 hours of our session, and we loved everyone single one of them! We received the full gallery a month after our wedding. All of the photos were incredible, and perfectly captured our wedding day! Overall, Ali went above and beyond in all ways, and is an amazing person and photographer! I recommend using Ali as a photographer for any occasion, and would love to work with her again when we have a wedding reception at a later date!

Communication via phone calls, texts, and email was always prompt and friendly, like speaking with an old friend which made my distant planning much easier. Being a Covid couple, we changed plans on Ali multiple times and she had no issues or complaints when locations and times changes multiple times. We ended up booking a second shooter, Mark, for half of our day to capture both getting ready locations and the ceremony. To our surprise, Mark ended up spending the ENTIRE DAY with us capturing more photos, even though we only booked him for 4 hours. Both Ali and Mark fit right in with our family and friends, and everyone loved the vibe working with them. We had about 100 edited photos by the next morning, and the complete 1500+ photo album delivered to us within 3 weeks. We enjoyed working with Ali so much that it was without hesitation we booked her again for our bigger reception in 2021. I'm telling you people, River Rose Weddings performs above and beyond in all areas of service, I would highly recommend her to capture your big day!

here we traveled all around town to our favorite spots. Even on the dreadfully hot 100 degree day, Ali made the day fun and easy by directing natural and easy poses. During Covid, we had to change our large wedding at Chautauqua, NY to a small elopement in Pittsburgh, PA. Ali accommodated the location and size change without any additional cost or complaint. Our elopement day so special and simple as we gallivanted all around Pittsburgh to take photos at the most epic spots, including the strip, south side, and the incline! For both the engagement and elopement, a large sample of edited photographs were ready within the day (so speedy)! Ali exceeded every expectation for punctuality, cost, time to deliver the photos. We get SO MANY compliments and couldn't have asked for anything better - they're perfect!

l, truly making it feel as though your wedding is the most important day she has as well. My entire bridal party and family adored her. I mean, she even cried at our ceremony after knowing the groom for only a matter of hours! We received the sneak peeks (we just got married 2 days ago) within 14 hours of her leaving site. They’re even prettier than I imagined they could be! To note, our own plans changed due to Covid just a week before the event, requiring her for two less hours of coverage, and there is not an OUNCE in me who would ask for a refund....because you sincerely will not find a better, more caring and detailed photographer. Book her now!!!! As I will be booking her for the future :)

hich cancelled our wedding twice. A huge bummer. Ali, unfortunately, had another couple booked on our third rescheduled date which also was a bummer. What was a bigger bummer, however, was that Ali's contract states that her 30% retainer is non-refundable. Which means that we will need to find a new photographer for our wedding (which is fine) but also have less money to spend on that aspect of our wedding. It should be noted, in each of our reschedules, Ali was given at least a month's notice. Our agreement was signed pre-COVID, but if rescheduling due to COVID (or other factors) is a possibility for you, you may want to consider a new photographer or ask Ali to amend her agreement.

ith our many cancellations and reschedules of our wedding. She has offered to come take pictures of any occasion we wanted because our wedding had been cancelled. She is quick to respond and takes amazing pictures.

ed multiple resources to help us plan our engagement session, and wedding, and was all around super pleasant to plan with! She was super welcoming and friendly to our entire bridal party and helped our wedding run super smoothly and was super flexible getting in all the photos we had dreamed of even when we had less time than predicted on our wedding day. Not to mention we absolutely love our entire wedding gallery, and we received our previews the very next morning after our wedding. 11/10 would recommend Ali and River Rose Weddings to any brides looking for fun and intimate wedding photos! Even though it was 100+ degrees, Alex remained super positive and played the best jams to set the mood.
