Our anniversary adventure with Ali and Mark was above and beyond my dreams! After Ali captured our August 2020 wedding, I reached out to her with the idea of an private wedding “redo” in August 2021 with my husband and our wedding attire in Glacier National Park, MT for sunrise and then a causal anniversary sunset session. She was ALL in and did so much research to plan for the best backdrops. Ali really takes the ideas you give her and runs with them to make them 1000x better. She is so fun to work with and her dedication to her work & her couples is unmatched. I wish we could “redo” our wedding every year somewhere new and hire her capture our adventure! Ali is the only vendor from our wedding I will genuinely recommend to other couples wedding planning. Thank you again for all of your hard work and we can’t wait to work with you again!!

Ali was amazing for our wedding! She was super communicative with the whole process, from our first phone call to the shots we wanted on our special day. She answered every single question we had! I joked saying she became a 4th bridesmaid because she jumped right in with fixing my hair and helping my MOH with my bustle. She spent her Halloween with my now husband and I getting gorgeous shots that I’m obsessed with. Our guests loved her as well. We are already recommending her to literally everyone we interact with.

After our engagement session, I already knew we had made the right decision, but Ali went above and beyond for our wedding. With a strange unfolding of events, Ali had to drive me over to our ceremony site so I wouldn’t be seen by anyone. She totally calmed my nerves and put me at such ease - which was so noticeable through all of our photos. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner following me throughout the day to capture our most important moments- especially since we chose not to have a videographer. If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Ali is absolutely AMAZING! She photographed our wedding July 2021 and we have been swooning over the pictures since. Hire Ali and Her team, its a no brainier. She captured our wedding day perfectly. She was easy to work with and professional. We had a micro-wedding and the photographer was going to be the only non-family member there. A photographer could have made it feel awkward, but Ali flowed with it. I chose Ali to shoot our wedding because I saw how much fun she was at a previous wedding I had been too. I wanted someone who would fit in with our personalities. I found River Rose Weddings through a friend whose wedding photos I instantly fell in love with. Ali did not disappoint! Her work speaks for itself! Alex is absolutely amazing. I became familiar with her talent through my sisters engagement and wedding photos. I knew I had to scoop her up for my engagement and wedding. She is so easy to talk to, made a photo shoot so comfortable. I am particular with what I wanted shots of, and she delivered and also added her own little FLARE. I’m sad our big day is over as I would love to go back and have her shoot us all day again. I was so pleased with our gallery, she got us over 1500 pictures to sort through. Ali is an amazing photographer with a great eye. After getting engaged I went searching for the perfect photographer and I feel so lucky to have found her! I found Ali on Wedding Wire and immediately loved her style and use of color and rich warm tones. Ali took our engagement pictures and found a way to make them personalized and special. After our engagement session, covid hit. Ali was very accommodating and kind. She was always quick to respond and able to communicate on multiple platforms. Ali was easy to work with and never made the photos feel forced or awkward! The day after the wedding, Ali had our preview to us before 10am! I was amazed that she left our wedding at 9pm and was able to have edited pictures to us by morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and have already highly recommended her to friends and family. I hope that as our family grows, Ali can take our family photos in the future :)

Ali is hands down THE BEST if you are looking for a wedding photographer to capture your true feelings on your special day. She gets the perfect candids and is always ready to do whatever your dreams are. We get all of our family sessions done with her as well and she captures our son and gets the perfect pictures of him. Ali is an extremely talented photographer and an all-around great person who I highly recommend working with on any occasion! I reconnected with Ali, who I knew from high school, after my fiancé and I got engaged and decided to plan an intimate wedding in less than 3 months in light of COVID-19. I had previously followed Ali on social media and loved her work, so I was thrilled to hear she was available to be our photographer on such short notice! Ali was simply a pleasure to work with and is the perfect blend of talent, work ethic, and personality! She was very punctual in all of our communication, gave us awesome suggestions for photo locations, and took almost an hour out of her busy schedule to talk with me on the phone a few days before the wedding to go over logistics and come up with weather contingency plans (that thankfully were not needed)! The day of our wedding, Ali visited the church early to check out the venue, lighting, and landscape before coming to my parent’s house. Ali wore a mask at all times, was very friendly and respectful, and also worked so well with my young niece and dog! During the ceremony, she captured the big moments and small details, all while blending into the background at the church! She was able to efficiently capture our long list of family photos both inside and outside the church before my husband and I snuck away with her to North Park, where she made us feel so comfortable and natural taking photos together as a couple. I love that she incorporated music in our post-ceremony session for me and my husband! She played music from one of our favorite artists in the background, and we later shared our first dance under a tree with a beautiful fall sunset, all while Ali was taking beautiful photos! When the day was done, she spent more time with us than we expected (at no additional cost), which we really appreciated so we could take advantage of a scenic sunset! To top it off, Ali sent us our sneak peek of 50 edited photos within 3 hours of our session, and we loved everyone single one of them! We received the full gallery a month after our wedding. All of the photos were incredible, and perfectly captured our wedding day! Overall, Ali went above and beyond in all ways, and is an amazing person and photographer! I recommend using Ali as a photographer for any occasion, and would love to work with her again when we have a wedding reception at a later date!

WITHOUT HESITATION, BOOK RIVER ROSE WEDDINGS! I found Ali through The Knot while I was looking for a photographer. I instantly fell in love with her editing style (rich, vibrant, warm tone colors) and knew I had to snag her to capture our day. I was planning my wedding in Pittsburgh from my home in New Jersey, and Ali made my distant planning a breeze. Communication via phone calls, texts, and email was always prompt and friendly, like speaking with an old friend which made my distant planning much easier. Being a Covid couple, we changed plans on Ali multiple times and she had no issues or complaints when locations and times changes multiple times. We ended up booking a second shooter, Mark, for half of our day to capture both getting ready locations and the ceremony. To our surprise, Mark ended up spending the ENTIRE DAY with us capturing more photos, even though we only booked him for 4 hours. Both Ali and Mark fit right in with our family and friends, and everyone loved the vibe working with them. We had about 100 edited photos by the next morning, and the complete 1500+ photo album delivered to us within 3 weeks. We enjoyed working with Ali so much that it was without hesitation we booked her again for our bigger reception in 2021. I'm telling you people, River Rose Weddings performs above and beyond in all areas of service, I would highly recommend her to capture your big day!

Having Alex there to shoot our wedding day was the best decision we could’ve made! With this year being so uncertain, Alex was so accommodating and helpful as we tried to navigate having our micro-wedding this fall. She was so helpful the day of, and made sure everyone in our bridal party and families were completely comfortable for our pictures (a hard task to do with two camera-shy families). We even received proofs of some of our wedding pictures the day of our ceremony, I was amazed! Overall, I couldn’t recommend Alex more to capture your special day, she does fantastic work and is so nice to be around! Thank you Alex!

While scrolling through The Knot, I found Ali's profile and knew she HAD to be our photographer. Her photography and editing style were exactly how I wanted to remember our day, and how she describes herself on social media is exactly who you get! She's so kind and thoughtful and knows her stuff!! It was easy to communicate with her and her wedding day resource guide she created for her brides was BEYOND helpful while wedding planning!!! She listened to our ideas and ran with them and we are amazed at how much fun we had being in front of the camera all day and with her direction it felt so easy. Ali had our previews up less than 24 hours after leaving the site and our entire gallery was in my inbox about 2.5 weeks after--with over 1,500 pictures?! Are you kidding me?! SHES A ROCKSTAR!!!! Ali went above and beyond for BOTH our engagement and elopement photo experience. First, Ali traveled all the way to Texas (at no additional cost) for our engagement photo shoot, where we traveled all around town to our favorite spots. Even on the dreadfully hot 100 degree day, Ali made the day fun and easy by directing natural and easy poses. During Covid, we had to change our large wedding at Chautauqua, NY to a small elopement in Pittsburgh, PA. Ali accommodated the location and size change without any additional cost or complaint. Our elopement day so special and simple as we gallivanted all around Pittsburgh to take photos at the most epic spots, including the strip, south side, and the incline! For both the engagement and elopement, a large sample of edited photographs were ready within the day (so speedy)! Ali exceeded every expectation for punctuality, cost, time to deliver the photos. We get SO MANY compliments and couldn't have asked for anything better - they're perfect!

From day 1 I knew RiverRose weddings photography was the best choice! Ali made me feel so at ease! Our engagement photos and wedding photos were everything we wanted and more! Through all of the craziness that 2020 brought Ali was there telling me it would all be okay and taking breathtaking pictures! You will make no better choice than choosing Ali as your photographer (except for maybe your spouse). The entire experience of booking and meeting with her was thorough and personal, truly making it feel as though your wedding is the most important day she has as well. My entire bridal party and family adored her. I mean, she even cried at our ceremony after knowing the groom for only a matter of hours! We received the sneak peeks (we just got married 2 days ago) within 14 hours of her leaving site. They’re even prettier than I imagined they could be! To note, our own plans changed due to Covid just a week before the event, requiring her for two less hours of coverage, and there is not an OUNCE in me who would ask for a refund....because you sincerely will not find a better, more caring and detailed photographer. Book her now!!!! As I will be booking her for the future :)

Ali did a great job with our wedding and engagement photos, we were super happy with the overall package. Engagement was a breeze and she had several great ideas. She was flexible through our COVID related rescheduling and made all the last minute changes work. Thank you Ali!

Ali's photos and the reviews below show that she does exemplary work - which is why we retained her services. Unfortunately, we were unable to user her services due to COVID-19 - which cancelled our wedding twice. A huge bummer. Ali, unfortunately, had another couple booked on our third rescheduled date which also was a bummer. What was a bigger bummer, however, was that Ali's contract states that her 30% retainer is non-refundable. Which means that we will need to find a new photographer for our wedding (which is fine) but also have less money to spend on that aspect of our wedding. It should be noted, in each of our reschedules, Ali was given at least a month's notice. Our agreement was signed pre-COVID, but if rescheduling due to COVID (or other factors) is a possibility for you, you may want to consider a new photographer or ask Ali to amend her agreement.

Ali has worked with us since day one to make our experience the best it can be. She’s absolutely amazing. I would hire her over and over again. She has been positive and flexible with our many cancellations and reschedules of our wedding. She has offered to come take pictures of any occasion we wanted because our wedding had been cancelled. She is quick to respond and takes amazing pictures.

Ali was great from the minute we inquired about our wedding photography to the delivery of our full wedding gallery! She always responded so quickly to our emails and texts, provided multiple resources to help us plan our engagement session, and wedding, and was all around super pleasant to plan with! She was super welcoming and friendly to our entire bridal party and helped our wedding run super smoothly and was super flexible getting in all the photos we had dreamed of even when we had less time than predicted on our wedding day. Not to mention we absolutely love our entire wedding gallery, and we received our previews the very next morning after our wedding. 11/10 would recommend Ali and River Rose Weddings to any brides looking for fun and intimate wedding photos! We certainly will be booking her for all anniversary and family photos in the future.

Loved our perfect engagement session with Alex! She went above and beyond when she traveled all the way to Austin, TX at no extra cost. We started the afternoon at our usual dog park with our fur baby Lucy. Then we went all around town to take photos at a coffee shop, park, and ramen restaurant. At sunset, we paddle boarded along the river for the most epic shots. Even though it was 100+ degrees, Alex remained super positive and played the best jams to set the mood. When I look at the beautiful photos, I am so happy Alex captured these memories at the places that are so special to us. We can’t wait for Alex to work her magic on our wedding day :) Highly recommend Alex for any occasion!

We got married in June, and I can't even put into words how amazing it was to work with Alex and Mitch. From the booking, to final consult, to day of, Alex exceeded our expectations above and beyond! They arrived promptly, were so friendly and fun to work with, which made our day flow with ease.
