James and Jamie were wonderful to work with and provided everything we were looking for and more. Get ready rooms, tables and chairs provided, view of the river, forest background,...
tent and restrooms for our guests, and a prep area. Plus garbage cans, bar, fire pit, sound system and lawn games and plenty of areas for cute photos. It rained in our day and they even had a few umbrellas to add to ours that we brought. Jamie responded quickly to any question I had. We had about 65 guests but the venue can easily fit more. Our catering was a drop off and we used the prep area in the barn to do a sandwich spread between getting set up and the ceremony. Despite the rain our guests had a blast and our day was wonderful. Everything was so tranquil and beautiful. The fire pit was a big hit. Thank you!

e location to shine. From the very beginning, Jamie and James were quick to respond to our inquiries, helpful in answering all of our questions, and extremely friendly throughout the planning process. You can tell that running this venue is truly a labor of love, with all of the small touches that they have added, which make this venue feel so special. Our wedding day felt truly magical due to the natural beauty and serene setting of the venue. It was perfect.

bly helpful, responsive, and kind. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous — lush, peaceful, and full of natural beauty that made our day feel truly magical.
Jamie and James were amazing throughout the entire process. They were so efficient and calm during our rehearsal and even when we ran into some last-minute technical difficulties with the speakers, they jumped in and quickly got everything working. We were even allowed to stay a little longer to make up for the lost time, which we appreciated more than we can say.
They were flexible with last-minute changes and explained every detail so clearly, which made the planning feel smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a venue that’s not only beautiful but also comes with a wonderful, caring team — this is it. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our day so special.

lights for me was the groom’s cabin — spacious, comfortable, and a great place to relax and get ready with my groomsmen. It really made the morning feel special.
The views at the venue were absolutely stunning. Whether it was during the ceremony or while taking photos, the scenery added something magical to the whole day. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything looked.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a venue that delivers both comfort and unforgettable surroundings. Truly a day I’ll never forget.

t situation. Shopping around this place was very affordable for the space that you get. Parking was great and easy. Also location is very ideal as it’s nice and out of the way without being a very long drive for family and friends. Couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue after a whole year I can’t think of a single thing to improve. Plenty of clean bathrooms also!

What really stood out, though, was how kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful the owners were throughout the entire process. From the planning stages to the day of the wedding, they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their support helped take a lot of the stress off and allowed us to truly enjoy the day.
Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous location with amazing, caring people behind it!

and only venue we toured because we just knew it was the one for us the first time we saw it. The price is a great value with tables, chairs, yard games, a sound system, a groom room(right on the river!), a bridal Suite(with light up mirrors & a steamer), four restrooms with running water, a fridge to store beverages or keep food cold, a huge white tent for reception, plentiful parking and more, all included. The setting is absolutely stunning and private with the river just feet away from both the ceremony and reception locations and trees all around you. It is a great location and truly an Oasis. James and Jamie were so easy to work with and wonderful with communication. Anytime we had questions or wanted to visit the venue, they were quick to accommodate us. We really appreciated the flexibility with vendors and being allowed to bring in prepared food to save money. There's also minimal need for decoration due to the natural beauty that is River Valley Oasis. Thank you so much for everything, having our wedding at your Venue was truly a dream.
This was such a beautiful place to have a wedding. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants a boho wedding.
Also the vendors themselves,Jamie and James are amazing and so sweet.

elf is so well maintained we didn't need much decoration at all. We were the first wedding to have occurred there and at first sight(back in May) it definitely seemed to be a work in progress but every time we visited during our engagement the area just improved tremendously (this is over a 5 month period !)!! I cant wait to visit again someday and see how much the place has grown.
I was beyond excited we found such a perfect place for our wedding right in our own home town and at such an affordable price. This venue is perfect for weddings going for a whimsical, natural, fairytale style. The owner Jamie is very sweet and really tried to accommodate all my wishes for the big day. The only things that were a struggle to navigate with was catering and communication. Jamie had a preferred cater that could not fit our budget. The good news is you don't have to do the preferred cater, the bad news is you don't have access to the on site kitchen or to the sinks in the kitchen. Suggestion? Food trucks. As for communication, there were times when we were told one thing and then not allowed to do the things we had initially agreed upon in the end. Suggestions? Know the contract like the back of your hand and if anything is agreed upon after the contract is signed, get it in writing! But really those were the only things. In the grand scheme of things those issues didn't phase the big day one bit. It was the happiest day of my life and my wedding felt so complete at River Valley Oasis. I can not thank Jamie enough!
Sincerely,
Mrs. and Mr. McManus
