Rivercrest Farm and Event Center

When we visited Rivercrest we were stuck by the incredible view and beautiful barn, but when we met Bridget we knew this was our wedding venue. She is nothing but good vibes, professionalism, and top-notch organization. She will make sure your day goes smoothly and feels right— no judgement for where you might want to stray from the norm and plenty of good suggestions from her wealth of experience. She truly wants your day to be special for you and your partner. We loved having the venue for the full weekend to host all our wedding festivities from our rehearsal dinner, Friday meet & greet, Saturday wedding, and Sunday send-off. The Friday before the wedding we were frantically trying to get everything ready… well we should never have stressed because Bridget and the Rivercrest team turned our vision into a flawless reality. There were a few hiccups (the limo, our ride to the venue, broke down!) but Scot was quick to come up with a plan B and Bridget kept us on schedule. One of our favorite aspects of Rivercrest is how flexible it is for adapting to the different phases of a wedding. There are so many pockets of space to gather, dance, and enjoy. The getting ready rooms are a little tight for big groups (our wedding party got ready at the cabins we stayed at) and the on-site cabins are limited on how many they accommodate partially because of the limited number of restrooms. That said, the neighboring Deer Run cabins are fabulous and nearby. We loved our Rivercrest wedding and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to get married in the embrace of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

WOW! I do not think I can accurately put into words how awesome this venue was. The BEST part of it was BRIDGET!!!! She is an amazing DOC who will do absolutely anything in her power to make sure that you have an amazing wedding day. I am forever thankful for her and her staff. Everyone made sure that it was a great day and FUN! Not only was it a great venue, but it is absolutely beautiful and really helped me accomplish the fully outside wedding I was trying to have. So many of my guests loved the aesthetic and I could not speak highly enough about this venue. I am forever thankful for Bridget and all of her work, her staff, and this beautiful venue. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding, fun time, and great people this is the venue for you!

We had an incredible/dream wedding at Rivercrest. Bridget and Scott were both very responsive and helpful. The prices were affordable and the views magnificent. It was really nice that some of the family could stay at the venue and that we had such an awesome open guest rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. It's very much a rustic fairy tale experience complete with horses, mountains and a river!

First off, its taken us WAAAAY too long to write this review for Bridget, Scott, and the whole team at Rivercrest. We are a VERY satisfied June 2021 married customer of Rivercrest. This place is absolutely amazing. The moment we met Bridget in the height of covid to tour for our wedding, we knew that (she) and this venue was it! There was no way anywhere else could top it! We actually only toured Rivercrest and made our decision right after leaving! Anyone who has met Bridget knows immediately that she is the perfect person for what she’s doing. She’s extremely hospitable, cares beyond belief and will go to the ends of the earth to make sure EVERYTHING is the way YOU want it on your special day. We honestly felt like we had made a forever friend after meeting Bridget and touring Rivercrest for the first time. Not to mention, the price you pay for what you get is a slamming deal! Leading up to the wedding, Bridget was literally at our beck and call (even though she says shes a 30-days out wedding planner) there were plenty of times we needed answers or measurements and she was on top of it and answered us the same day we asked. The venue speaks for itself, the views and pictures we have to remember this day will never, ever get old. Scott, (the owner) made it a point to come out and introduce himself to us while we were decorating and setting up the day before. He also gave us his PERSONAL number and told us to call him at any time, if we needed anything! I mean, it doesn’t get more accommodating than that! There are nothing but good things to be said about this venue and the possibilities are endless. Bridget and Scott made it very clear that they were/are open to us using the venue however we see fit. They allowed us to have full control of where we wanted to put everything. Although, since Bridget is so great at what she does we did have her suggest and take over for some parts because, duh she knows better than we do! We live just over 2 hours away from the Venue but Bridget did a wonderful job at setting up video calls and making sure we felt comfortable about everything, every step of the way. It was an honest dream come true. Everything was 100x better than we would have ever imagined and we cannot recommend this venue enough. The people who work for Rivercrest paired with the beautiful views truly make it the most wonderful experience you’ll ever have in your life!!!!

I cannot recommend rivercrest highly enough. The venue was beautiful with an absolutely gorgeous location. The staff were extremely helpful and the day would have been a disaster without Bridget. She knows then venue so we'll and absolutely killed it as a coordinator.

Rivercrest Farm is an beautiful venue with breathtaking mountain views! We wanted a destination wedding from PA to VA. We toured several VA farms, but after our tour with Bridget at Rivercrest Farm we just knew this was the venue for us. Bridget was so great to work with every step of the way! Seven months into our planning , the pandemic began. Bridget & the owners of the Rivercrest were willing to work with us to turn our destination wedding into a small private ceremony. We were able to stream the ceremony on Zoom & our day turned out so amazing & beautiful! I would recommend Rivercrest Farm to anyone!

We cannot say enough great things about Rivercrest Farm. From the second we met Bridget and did the tour, we knew it was the venue for us. The venue is stunning by itself and needed minimal decor, which we appreciated. It is so much more than just your traditional barn venue and has uniqueness in every aspect. Bridget is not only a creative genius, but also extremely flexible and was willing to work with whatever ideas we had! The owners, Scot and Paul, were so kind and accommodating the whole time that we used their property! The wedding went perfectly and I would choose Rivercrest 100x over!

Rivercrest farm was the perfect venue to get married at! We wanted a Barn with a rustic feel in a beautiful area and the place was just perfect for us and felt magical! Bridget our wedding planner was the easiest and friendliest person to work with. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a worry free wedding in a magical place.

We had our wedding in September and working with the team was the best experiance we ever could have dreamed of! Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was!

As a professional photographer, this venue was a dream to work with! It is a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding and has so many possibilities for creative and beautiful photos. Not only that, but we have never seen a staff so organized and responsive to a couple's needs. Bridget in particular is an amazing and skilled coordinator, remembering to give the bride medication she needed in the middle of the reception. We were so impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and highly recommend this venue to any couples looking for an outdoor venue with a more rustic feel!

Rivercrest farm went above and beyond for us! We couldn’t have found a better spot to get married. My husband is from New Jersey and I am from Virginia so we needed a place that was centralized for our families and big enough! We had about 50 people Just in Our Wedding party and about 300 people attended. No one ever felt crammed up or crowded because the farm was just perfectly laid out for a huge wedding like ours. We basically rented out the whole farm for the whole weekend. We really loved the fact that it came with houses that we could fill up with our wedding party. Everyone had only good things to say about the property and everyone who works there. Especially Bridget, she is the most chill/awesome wedding planner that you will ever work with. We had a band and a DJ and three food trucks. The weather was incredible and the barn was so beautiful. We recommend Rivercrest farm to any couple who wants to have a private, beautiful celebration with their family and friends. They were awesome.

we are so thankful to have chosen this venue to get married at in June! we had the most wonderful experience working with everyone from start to finish. everyone from Rivercrest was so helpful and accommodating as they made sure every tiny detail was perfect and in place on the day of the wedding. Bridget stayed in touch throughout the entire planning process to make sure we had every question answered and detail worked out. we had countless compliments on how great the venue was and how nice everyone was on the day of the wedding! we had such a smooth wedding day and I can guarantee you will have the most perfect day if you choose this venue to get married at. we are so thankful for you guys and all of the memories we have from our wedding day. 💙

I cannot day enough good things about this venue, so I’ll keep it short and sweet! The flow of the barn and the coziness of the farm makes it the PERFECT place to tie the knot! Bridgett, the wedding coordinator, is an absolute blast. She made absolutely sure to 100% bring our vision to life! She never questioned our thoughts, she simply went with the flow and was just what we needed! If you’re looking for a venue, you can stop now... you just found one!!

My daughter's wedding was originally scheduled for Sept 15th but we had to cancel due to the hurricane that was forecasted for that weekend. Bridget worked tirelessly to reschedule us for October 15th and even offered to provide other accommodations when one of the houses we had reserved for the weekend was already booked in October. My daughter's wedding was absolutely beautiful! So many of our guests commented how relaxing and peaceful it was at Rivercrest and that it was one of best weddings they had been to. Bridget, the owners and the staff are amazing to work with in meeting your needs and requests during the planning and execution of your wedding and Bridget has a wealth of experience to offer you when you have questions or need suggestions. My daughter and I highly recommend Rivercrest Farm and all the staff, especially Bridget, for your wedding or any special event.

Rivercrest is such a beautiful and amazing place to get married. The scenery is perfect for any season and the barn is beautiful lit up at night. Bridget is absolutely amazing and was there for every little need we had. She mad our wedding day go so smoothly and made it as stress free for me as she could.
