The venue was great. I had a Friday wedding, so I was able to get in the day before to decorate. You have to use their catering company, which kind of limits your food choices. We ...
had no complaints of food...actually many people said how great the food was, especially the stuffed chicken. Our problems came towards the end of the night, when the event manager that was working that evening decided that we had to get out an hour earlier than the contract that was signed. Of course, he was not the one we signed the contract with, but at that point we had no choice. He also told us it was illegal to get out leftovers, which was also written in our contract. We watched as the wait-staff walked away with containers/aluminium foil/OUR LEFTOVERS! They cut the top layer of our cake, which we were going to save for our 1st year anniversary, but left the whole kitchen cake untouched. It was a beautiful day...a beautiful reception....but the manager made a few mistakes that really rubbed us the wrong way.
