Rivers Edge Estate

I’m not even sure where to begin! The venue was absolutely perfect. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the city, and feels so private and homey. The beautiful pond, barn, orchard, farmhouse, honeymoon suit, it was all amazing. We have still yet to hear one negative comment from any of our guests. The real stars of the show were the venue owners, Kristen and Casey. Kristen helped with every step of the way, and made the planning process as smooth as possible. About a month out from the wedding, our officiant backed out, and Casey stepped right up to the plate. When I say they were involved every step of the way, and the wedding wouldn’t have been possible without them, I mean it. Kristen did an amazing job coordinating with all of our vendors, and maintaining communication with the maid of honor and groom, keeping me (the bride) as least stressed as possible. We are already planning to come back to this venue for our 1 year anniversary, and hopefully more years to come. It’s more than a wedding venue, and we cannot wait to return!

My daughter held her wedding at Rivers Edge Estates this past June. It was absolutely perfect!! The barn is beautiful, photogenic and did not need extensive decorating to be stunning. It is a perfect mix of comfort and class that can be “dressed up or down” depending on your style. Our guests loved sitting at outdoor patio tables under umbrellas, playing yard games and socializing at the outdoor bar. We had an ice cream cart, smores by the fire and a sparkler send off! We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the beauty of the venue and the fun that was had at the reception. The ceremony was beautiful and despite being outdoors, we could hear them perfectly. And, we had no issue with bugs! The fact that they have a bridal suite and honeymoon suite on site made it so convenient for the wedding party and minimized the stress of getting everyone there on time. Hair and makeup came to us! I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful owners Kristen and Casey are! They are so kind, positive, understanding and easy to talk to. Kristen is a great communicator and made sure everything was done thoughtfully and on time. She led us through the process of choosing vendors and making design decisions offering her expertise, experience and support. Casey is just as invested and can do anything! (He even came to the rescue to help bustle my daughter’s dress!) The day of the wedding, they were everywhere, making sure everything went smoothly and all of our needs were taken care of. They genuinely cared about my daughter’s day and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. By the time the wedding was over, they felt like friends!
