g our first dance with the dancing on a cloud which is really beautiful if done correctly. When I reached out to Joel he advised that he would check to see if it was something he could do then promptly called back and said he could. He left me with the impression that it was pretty simple and that there would be no issues. He also advised that the image I sent him for the monogram would be simple enough to do. He reached out just a few days before my wedding to advise that the monogram image would A) be more expensive than he originally quoted and B) a projection would probably work just as well. (Keep in mind he had the image for a month. Why was this left until a week before the wedding?) due the the time crunch I was put in I chose to go for the projection instead. BIG MISTAKE it was crooked all night and looked like a professor was giving a lecture during my wedding. As far as the dancing on a cloud, he told my dad (not me) that if it wasn't done at the exact right time that it wouldn't work. I was never told this when I hired him even though I made it clear that we hired him specifically for this feature. I was sick during the wedding day causing me to duck in and out and he never told me the dancing on a cloud wasn't going to work as planned because the first dance was later than planned so we had little puffs of smoke instead of "clouds" ...my photographer had to photoshop clouds in! There was also a long lag time between the time he called us up for the first dance and when the music actually started and an issue with a special moment I was planning with my sister that he was told about beforehand. There were a few issues during cocktail hour where I could hear the music being stopped then restarted, not a huge deal but not professional either. There was a HUGE issue with communication and more than one of my vendors complained to me about it including my wedding planner. I was advised by MULTIPLE DJs that the DJ creates the timeline and I specifically asked for one to be created but it seemed that with my sudden illness he wasn't able to think on his feet and never planned to create the timeline. My dad ended up making the announcement that the dance floor was open because the guests assumed we would be coming out for our first dance and it was not announced that I was sick and that they could go ahead and party. I will say that the music he chose was really amazing and the guests loved the actual songs and his intro for the wedding party was AWESOME. I think he would be great for a birthday or holiday party but I don't think weddings are his strong point. Especially formal weddings like mine.

omised. He was able to play songs from our families countries, Spain and Mexico. He was affordable with great talent. One bridesmaid snapped at him, and he remained professional and courteous (no, I was not happy about the rudeness displayed). I would definitely recommend.

sn't nickel and dime like other entertainers do!!!! I feel like I got WAY more then what I paid for.....If you want your special moments to be perfect and to have fun....This guy can get it done!!! I will only use Rivertown Entertainment for any of my events in the future!!! Mrs.Bush
