Ian and Sarah were fabulous! I found Ian on The Knot, and from the very beginning we were impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. We met on zoom to talk about the wedding and what we wanted, and Ian was helpful pointing out ideas we hadn't thought of. We did an engagement shoot with him to make sure we clicked and wanted him as the wedding photographer. We had a blast! I think that was the coldest day I've ever experienced, but Ian made it fun and we got some amazing photos from it. He and Sarah shot our wedding, and they made it so easy, so fun, and so stress free. I would see a moment happen that I wanted pictures of, and look around for Ian. He was already on the spot snapping pictures. Sarah was very sweet and helpful. Both were a pleasure to work with! And our photographs are STUNNING. We are so happy we went with Rivertown! We look forward to doing more business with them as our family grows (we already booked Ian for a maternity session).

Where do I even begin? My experience with Rivertown was nothing short of amazing. They knew exactly the vibe we were going for and captured it beautifully. My husband and I are not photo people, but they made it so easy for us (I’m not just saying that, like legit felt like I was hanging out with friends) If that isn’t enough the planning part of everything was phenomenal. I never had to worry about what was going on because we always kept in contact. If I had a question, an idea, anything they were always there. The scheduled zoom meeting made everything a breeze as well. The attention to detail when it came to the pictures showed how much they genuinely cared and wanted us to have the most incredible wedding photos. I wish I could get married every day so I could continue to work with Rivertown and the amazing people who make up the business. 10/10 would recommend over and over.

We cannot recommend Rivertown photography enough! Brief background: when my parents got married, they had an awful experience with their photographer. He was very demanding and harsh, and they were happy when he finally left. So I swore that when I got married, I would make sure our experience was different- and it could not have been any more so. From the start, Ian was fantastic to work with- very friendly and knowledgeable. When someone is taking pictures of you kissing your fiance, it's very easy to feel awkward, but it wasn't. Our engagement session went great and left me feeling confident about our choice. Ian kept in touch with us throughout the months between our engagement session and the wedding as well. Both Ian and Sarah shot our wedding. I was a little nervous because I hadn't met Sarah yet but she was fantastic as well, even offering to run over and get my husband some iced tea when he mentioned it off handedly. Ian stayed for the ENTIRE wedding and got some truly wonderful pictures! The photos themselves were gorgeous and even the USB we got was very fancy. Both of our families can't stop gushing over how well they turned out. My mom tried to pick out her favorites... And narrowed it down to 200+, if that gives you any idea. Mother of the Bride here- - We were blown away by the wonderful job Ian did at our daughter Amy's wedding. First off, he and his associate were absolutely wonderful people- pleasant. accommodating, and friendly. My niece remarked that they felt like part of the party. We just got the pictures this week and they are beyond my expectations! They captured so many big and small moments and the quality of the photos is amazing.
