Checkin was difficult. New staff, which I understand, but there were 4 people trying to check me in.

The hotel was better than expected. Lobby was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The hotel and rooms were clean.

on't bother. The pool is ice cold and not useable. There is a hot breakfast, but it isn't good. The scrambled eggs tasted very much like powdered eggs and were floating in water. There were 3 sausage links and about 5 pieces of rubbery bacon. The gravy was very watered down.

posit on top of the deposit I was already charged. When my daughter and I were getting ready for my son's wedding and we were about to leave the room, the handle would not open so we could not exit the room. Called the front desk and asked if someone could let us out. 10 minutes I had to call again to be let out of the room. They checked the handle to see if I was telling the truth. Hotel staff only switched our room. I was disappointed and wanted a refund and was told they could not do that. Will not stay here again

Where do I start....hallway our room was on smelled like a pot farm the entire stay, it's legal in the state and hard to control as hotel staff so that's me just being picky. Same night our room for 3 had only 2 bath towels, called the desk and...
they said the hotel is out of towels and promised to clean our room and give us more towels in the morning, ok happens right. Night 2 we come back to the hotel after a Wonderful day with family to find our keys don't work. I walk to the desk and there us no one there. Few minutes later I walk to the bar and ask the attendant where the desk person is, they say that he went to fund towels and will be right back. 30 minutes later and 4 more guests waiting he comes back and answers the phone instead of acknowledgement of the guests in front of him. Basically blamed it on management made us new keys and we went to our room. Which had not been touched and still had no towels. This is how things went for the 3 nights. They did comp us a night and we canceled the return stay night we had pre booked with no penalty, I appreciate that, and the manager on Monday and the Supervisor who took the brunt of our displeasure on Sunday were very professional and tried to help the best they could. This could be a very awesome hotel, it has incredible views and could be very classy. I hope they make it what it can be going forward.
