The wedding was postponed just days away from the day, due to covid. These guys calmed my anxiety and took care of everything. I know I drove them nuts ( I'm a little controlling) but never once did they make me feel like I was bothering them. My daughter had the wedding of her dreams! After the very first meeting, with Joseph and Rob we knew we made the right choice for florist and day of coordinators. They listened to everything with great patience and made us all feel at ease. Joseph and Rob made awesome suggestions to have the floral arrangements do double duty during the ceremony and reception and it worked perfectly. Their suggestion to have the bridesmaids hold their flowers in silver tussie mussies was perfect. Each of the ladies had a special keepsake to remember the day. All the floral arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly complimented the wedding colors, venue and our daughter's style. Many of the guests complimented the arrangements and personal touches. Throughout the planning and to the very end of the wedding, Joseph and Rob went the extra mile, doing so many things behind the scenes to make sure everything was spot on. We found out after the wedding, they even made a special run for the groomsmen on the morning of the wedding. We were blown away. Their knowledge and passion made working with them a wonderful experience we will never forget. We highly recommend Riverwood Designs.

I found that some other floral designers skimped a little too much when I mentioned my budget, making me feel somewhat bad, or weren’t willing to be flexible in their designs in order to meet my budget. Joseph & Rob were more than willing to work with me and were excited to hear my thoughts throughout the entire process! They grew big ferns over the summer for me in time for my fall wedding so that I could have ferns in the ceremony at a fraction of the cost. They were also very generous about waiving rental fees, as long as I returned the vessels for the centerpieces. They both have a great eye for design and color and I loved hearing their creative thoughts and working with them – they ended up giving me more than what I imagined my budget could get and the designs were BEAUTIFUL! On the day-of, I was simply floored at how beautiful mine and my bridesmaids bouquets were and the fresh flower hair combs we had were also stunning, the colors were so pretty. And I was ecstatic when I saw the rest of the floral designs for the first time. Our ceremony arch and centerpieces were lush, fresh, and gorgeous. I had SO many guests coming up to me to tell me how beautiful our flowers were and my bridesmaids loved their bouquets so much – I was so glad they were able to take them home with them! Joseph & Rob are also just amazing people. I was so excited to meet them the day of our wedding! They are both extremely kind, thoughtful, professional, and they are dedicated to customer service. Again, can’t say enough good things – choosing Riverwood Designs was the BEST decision I made for my wedding! I would definitely recommend them for floral design and I would trust them with wedding management & planning as well (newer services)!

I could go on all day about their amazing services, but to speak specifically about florals, they designed and executed the most stunning bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements that I could have ever imagined. They took ideas that we talked about and some inspiration pictures and created the most unique and stunning arrangements I have ever seen. Peonies are my favorite flower and it was my vision to highlight them in our wedding decor, and I was blown away with what Rob and Joseph were able to do! I have never seen bouquets more beautiful and they were so breathtaking in person and in all of the photographs. The large arrangements that they created for us were the anchors of the decor and they helped us to place them throughout the wedding space so that it felt lush and full of florals. They were also incredibly considerate of our budget and made helpful suggestions so that we could get achieve everything we were hoping, but still stay within our budget. They made the great suggestion of repurposing our bridal bouquets after the ceremony and photos to be in vases and part of the decor for the head table. This idea gave us the most gorgeous head table and helped us to use money we would have used for an arrangement on the head table in the design elsewhere. I have had so many people compliment us and tell us how beautiful they thought our flowers were, and seeing the flowers arrive on our wedding day was one of my favorite surprises! Rob and Joseph are incredibly talented, know florals (and the wedding industry) inside and out, and their only wish is to help create an exceptional wedding!

I was thinking, “where have these guys been my entire wedding planning process?” (I really wish I would have hired them earlier!) Fast forward to my wedding day – I am sitting in the chair getting hair and makeup done, and my bridesmaids comes rushing in telling me how beautiful the flowers the guys are setting up outside are. I could not wait to get out of my chair. When I finally got to see the flowers, they were just a dream come true. I really could not believe how beautiful the flowers were! Honestly, I would look at them and my heart would sparkle! The variety of roses and shades of reds were so deep and gorgeous; they tied the varying red colors of my bridesmaid’s dresses together and really made the entire wedding just beautiful. Rob and Joseph made my dream a reality, and then made it even better. Truly magical.

The thing that most impressed me was how anxious and willing they were to share ideas and be part of the planning. I had assumed that they would only be interested in setting up the actual wedding day and making that flow. I was so wrong! From the start, they were invested in making sure it was the most memorable day by sharing their knowledge, ideas, experience, connections, etc. They were so willing to ask for our ideas but to also step up and give their opinion when asked. They were our right hand men during those 5 weeks. They were literally on speed dial and texting when it came to our questions about catering, rental companies, groom’s shoe colors and brands, tent design, linen colors, ceremony location, flowers, ceremony and reception timing and scheduling, rehearsal… you name it. They helped with every single aspect and were always available. I really can’t speak highly enough of the level of care, quality and love that Joseph and Rob place in their work. As to the day of… it was amazing, magical, and everything my daughter dreamed of!! It was seamless without any glitches. Because of Rob and Joseph, not only was it beautiful- their flowers and table designs were out of this world gorgeous and still one of the main highlights!- it was also relaxed. Everyone got to enjoy the day rather than stress on all the minute details that had to be taken care of. I can honestly say that they were worth every penny and then some! Joseph and Rob, thank you so much for forever impacting our lives with such an amazing day!!

drove out of town to meet us for a design meeting and were in contact with us frequently leading up to our wedding. They presented designs to meet this indecisive bride's changing vision and were very accommodating. They delivered gorgeous bouquets (and a beautiful silk replica), table centerpieces, arbor garland, and more that were beyond what we could have ever imagined. Our guests were raving over how beautiful the flowers were. Now, over a week after our wedding, the centerpieces we took home are still beautiful. Joseph made the trip to Saluda to meet with us a couple days before the wedding to go over the bridal bouquet, which we really appreciated. They were very professional about setting up on time and cleaning up after, and they made some crucial adaptations on the fly to make sure we had everything we needed on the day of. Price is reasonable, and they will work with your budget needs. Can't say enough good things about them; I definitely recommend using if you're getting married in the area!
