Jeff & Rebecca

Owner

Jeffrey honed his passion for performing at the Helmrich School of Arts, University of Oklahoma. He is keen on the technical aspects of dance, has been teaching and choreographing partner dancing professionally for over a decade, and is proficient in over 20 styles of dance. His varied performance background gives him a unique perspective of how the body moves that he passes on to his students. Rebecca started her career in body mobility early through gymnastics, acrobatics, cheer and the performing arts through college. In 2010, she began teaching ballroom. She is trained in American Smooth, Rhythm, and club style dances. She uses her knowledge in both bodywork and psychology to ease learning for her students.

Jeff was able to work with us to create a dance that was perfect for us. We did not want a true choreographed dance, so we spend some lessons learning various styles of dance and several dance moves that worked with our song. Jeff patient, encouraging, and made the entire process so much fun. We treated our dance lessons as fun activity in the middle of wedding planning chaos. As for scheduling, we did classes on the weekends when Jeff was available as well as some on week nights. My partner was nervous for our dance so Jeff was great at breaking everything down into easy steps and gave us the confidence to shine on our big day. The choreography was elegant yet personalized to fit our style perfectly. Our guests were blown away, and we felt so comfortable and connected during the dance. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, creative, and truly passionate about what they do, we highly recommend Jeff!

Jeff made it easy and super fun to learn, we were laughing during every class, and we left feeling motivated to practice outside of class. By the final lesson, we felt we had every part of our wedding dance routine down and learn a lot about dancing throughout process. For our routine, Jeff provided excellent guidance and suggestions about different moves to incorporate into the routine and adjusted the routine appropriately with modifications when we were unsure about certain moves within the routine. Jeff even offered to cut our wedding song for us to fit our wedding routine; he is truly invested in ensuring the success of our wedding dance. Additionally, Jeff is super flexible about scheduling and was super accommodating to both of our work and travel schedules throughout the summer. Jeff is a gem of dance instructor and I truly cannot recommend Jeff highly enough!!

Jeff took his time helping us breakdown simple steps and find unique, simple, and beautiful ways to piece them together. He choreographed our whole dance and made changes when he saw we were struggling. incredibly helpful. We appreciate how well organized they were with scheduling, reminders, and payment. They worked as an excellent team, were always very responsive, and accommodated us with our hectic schedules. Rebecca created a fun atmosphere to teach us new dance steps according to the style of dance we wanted to do with our first dance song, in addition to dancing around the reception. She kept it simple so we were not overwhelmed, encouraged us by highlighting our strengths, and provided helpful tips as we progressed. She also made videos at the end of each session so we could practice at home. We have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend them!
