Rebecca & Jeffrey
Owner
Rebecca started her career in body mobility early through gymnastics, acrobatics, cheer and the performing arts through college. In 2010, she began teaching ballroom. She is trained in American Smooth, Rhythm, and club style dances. She uses her knowledge in both bodywork and psychology to ease learning for her students.
Jeffrey honed his passion for performing at the Helmrich School of Arts, University of Oklahoma. He is keen on the technical aspects of dance, studying physiology and personal training to give him a unique perspective of how the body moves that he passes on to his students.

Rebecca and Jeff are phenomenal. They helped my now husband and I choreograph our first dance for our wedding last June. They are friendly and great teachers. We made our lessons date night and had a lot of fun learning the dance steps. I am a bit uncoordinated, but I was able to overcome and look pretty graceful thanks to the both of them.

We absolutely adore working with Rebecca and Jeff. They bring so much livelihood and positive energy when we are learning dance. We have been working with RJ Dance since the Spring, a year out before our wedding because we wanted a memorable wedding dance, and to learn how to not step on our partner's feet. The joy of learning this dance evolved into a joy of learning tango. Learning Tango has been tougher, but Rebecca and Jeff's incredible patience and their ability to help us visualize has helped given us a deep appreciation for the art of Argentine Tango. They are phenomenal teachers and we will keep coming back for more lessons long after our wedding.

We absolutely loved our time learning to dance for our first dance! My (now) Husband was hesitant, but they made us feel at ease with our beginning dancing steps. We were so happy how the dance turned out for our first song. Thank you much and we would highly recommend them and hopefully we can dance again with them!

Rebecca was such a joy to have as our instructor for our first dance at our wedding. We were total beginners, and she was relentlessly optimistic, professional, and really helpful in charting out what a good style would be that fit what we were looking for. We got several compliments from guests - would highly recommend for anyone looking to make an impression, even if they don't have a background in dance!

I would recommend rj dance to anyone! My fiancé and I have never taken a dance class before and Rebecca helped us put together a beautiful first dance for our wedding. We had so much fun learning to dance and we loved the experience!

We booked with RJ to help my fiance and I put together our wedding first dance and Rebecca was absolutely fantastic. From helping us learn basic steps in a supportive, intuitive way, to choreographing a fabulous dance that was exactly what we asked for - not too much choreography and loose on the timings. Would definitely recommend RJ whether you’re looking for something more choreographed, or if you have no experience like us and want to do something a little easier. THANK YOU RJ & Rebecca for seeing us, hearing what we wanted, and being so patient and helpful to prep us for the big day.

Don't think twice about it, book with RJ!
Jeff was an absolute laugh and made the whole experience so fun. He's so talented and knows how to teach different skillsets and also different learning types. He's easy to understand and in addition to standard moves, he will literally create new moves to fit your dance and abilities.
100% recommend him for wedding lessons and hope to drop in for other lessons with him in the future.

Jeff is amazing! He is an amazing teacher who can accurately assess his students' skill level and give varying feedback to help them achieve the desired results. He's very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. 100% recommend!
My partner and I decided to work with Jeff for our first dance; I am a former dancer and my partner has very little experience, so we weren't sure what we would be able to do. Jeff took his time helping us breakdown simple steps and find unique, simple, and beautiful ways to piece them together. He choreographed our whole dance and made changes when he saw we were struggling. Overall, having a coach there helped us learn new ways to communicate with each other and gave us time to enjoy planning our big day.

My Fiancé and I are not terrible dancers, but we could sure use some help to prevent our first dance from being rusty. Rebecca was an absolute blast to work with for our lessons! She is very accommodating and shared some wonderful ideas for how we can spice up our first dance. It was a seamless process and we had a ton of fun. We Highly Recommend booking sooner rather than later!

My Fiancé and I get married in 5 days and feel completely prepared for our first dance due to Jeff's excellent instructions. Neither of us are dancers so we knew we needed some help with the upcoming first dance. Jeff was very patient, professional and more than exceeded our expectations. He helped choreograph a dance that we both feel great about and know that all of our family and friends will be impressed with. We would both highly recommend Jeff and his dance partner Rebekah for anyone out there looking for dance instructors. They are communicative, helpful and very flexible in making sure you can get in and learn. They also provide videos of what moves were gone over for when you are practicing on your own. Overall, I can't wait to have my first dance and it's largely due to Jeff's instructions. Thank you so much!

They were very helpful with figuring out which style of dance worked best for us. Very professional and fun! Great instructors and we were able to use the dance studio to practice outside of lessons for a very reasonable price. We would recommend them for any beginners trying to learn a dance for their wedding.

We had a really good time with our dance lessons! It was fun and engaging. Rebecca was very patient with us in teaching the basic steps when we forget them. Also, we are grateful for her suggestions which we have incorporated in our actual wedding. Our first dance ended up very smooth and so magical! :)

Highly recommend!! We decided to do a first dance, as well as a full blown choreographed dance as a surprise. Jeff, from the first convo. Knew exactly what we were looking for! Our first lesson was so much fun and he gave us a preview with his dance partner. We are thrilled to be working with this awesome company!!

We booked with RJ Dance Co to get help with learning a dance for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier about that decision! We were both inexperienced, and Rebecca and Jeff were incredibly helpful. We appreciate how well organized they were with scheduling, reminders, and payment. They worked as an excellent team, were always very responsive, and accommodated us with our hectic schedules. Rebecca created a fun atmosphere to teach us new dance steps according to the style of dance we wanted to do with our first dance song, in addition to dancing around the reception. She kept it simple so we were not overwhelmed, encouraged us by highlighting our strengths, and provided helpful tips as we progressed. She also made videos at the end of each session so we could practice at home. We have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend them!

Jeff is an awesome instructor! We requested a specific song for our first dance and he picked a great style of dance to go with it. He is a very skill instructor and is fantastic at explaining moves in a clear way!

Jeff has been so patient with us as this is our first experience with dance lessons. We put together songs, he listened to our vision and choreographed an amazing first dance for us which we are so excited to surprise our family and friends with!! He has broken each dance down for us, taught us it in chunks and then put it together piece by piece with music. He will even record himself so you can practice at home!! Wish there were more stars to give but I highly recommend RJ Dance Company!

I love that they work to teach their students more than just the basics of movement. They also strive to instill in them a sense of connection and belonging, which I think is essential for any kind of wedding dance. These moments are about making memories you can cherish, nut just on the day of your wedding, but in every moment leading up to that, and I think both Rebecca and Jeff do a wonderful job of fostering that feeling of togetherness.

Jeff was amazing!! He helped us choreograph our dance and made me feel like a princess. We had a live band so we learned a simple dance BUT our dip was so pretty we put a picture of it by our bed. he's the best!!!
