RKH Images is a wedding photographer based in Burnsville, MN. We are Kyle and Tracy Hansen, and we are a husband-wife team that likes to bring out the best in our clients and one another. We like to have the most fun in life that we can. Customer service is our #1 priority. In our opinion, nothing outweighs a good experience and we want you to have a wonderful time with us. Why are we different than the other 50 wedding photographers you've seen? Because we are the photographers that are passionate about capturing real moments. We are all about YOU and your relationship. We're not about having you fake smile at the camera. We don't pose you in static, uncomfortable poses. We want to see who YOU are. We want to capture the laughs, the secret smiles, the little kisses, and more. Why??? Because those moments are REAL. They tell the true story of your wedding day. Our desire is to be your friend, not just another wedding vendor. We have been shooting weddings since 2010. We photograph full-time and do what we love every minute of every day. out the planning process, but EVERYONE loved them on our wedding day. They are so good at their craft, but they also are great at keeping people calm the day of. They don't even need to do that, but it just seems to come to them as a second nature. They want everyone to be happy and it shows.

uld for reviews. As such I am leaving a review on every site I can find them. I scrolled through hundreds and could find one short of 5 stars. Trust me when I tell you stop right here ALL, and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE I FOUND of the reviews were 5 stars and still FELL SHORT of how amazing and easy it was to work with them.
If you don’t believe me yet I want to outline a few things about Kyle and Tracy.
Our first time reaching out was via email and we received an almost immediate response which set us up with a phone call meeting. To be fair we set up 3 meetings with different photographers and Kyle and Tracy was our first call. Kyle is very experienced in shooting many different events including weddings. We enjoyed him thoroughly answering our questions and sharing experiences he has had. Outside of this he was genuinely interested in asking us about our story, where we met, how long we have been together etc. This was a tremendous surprise as we thought it would be straight business. When we hung up not only did, we already know they were the photographers we wanted to go with, it also felt like we made new friends. Over the next 5 months and several exchanges of emails and phone calls we were all set for our big day. If that wasn’t enough, they also took time aside to meet us in person as we were no longer local.
On the wedding day!
Kyle and Tracy showed up early and with plenty of energy. The teamwork we experienced on the phone was amplified in person and everything they prepared us for made the day that much more enjoyable. I want to skip over the experience of taking candid shots (their gallery speaks for itself) and talk about some of the special requests we made. Planning a wedding in Minnesota can be tricky with the weather so during planning we went over a few different scenarios. We started off wanting photos of the ceremony inside the church and a few outside of the reception venue, weather permitting we wanted a couple with a sunset. What we got were amazing photos of the ceremony, our wedding party, guests, large family photos, AND many many artistic shots. These include sunset and nighttime photos (Check out their gallery and Instagram). It wasn’t enough for them to take photographs for ~9hours and go home. They made the experience so enjoyable for parents and bridal party members such that they went looking for Kyle and Tracy to say goodbye. Just before they left Tracy pulled me aside for just a moment to tell me to check my phone as she had already sent me a preview of 5 photos from the day. Seriously, when else do you get to leave your wedding with a preview in your pocket?!?
What is a good review without covering the negative side? My only regret with hiring them is that even with all of the preparation and hard work they put in before the wedding is I didn’t bring enough to tip. We went around and asked a few people if they had cash so we could leave them as much as we could before they left.
If you made it this far the next thing you should do is call them right away!

They kept us on track as they are much more familiar with how long things take (like getting the bride into her dress) and they were fun the entire day! We had many guests come up to us to tell us how great their interactions with Kyle and Tracy were. Plus, the little conversations with them throughout the day kept reminding us why we were doing this, to celebrate our love with all our friends! e wedding. We then got another 100 photos within a week of the wedding and all of our photos in under 2 weeks from the wedding. Note their contract says 6-8 weeks I think but they have a program that helps filter out duplicates and they stay on top of editing. Also included in the package is an engagement session which I highly recommend because it helps you get a feel for what it will be like to take wedding photos. Per my husband "they are really awesome and a blast", note he does not like taking photos but he was able to have fun and relax with them.

so many take wonderful photos. The sister that used RKH Images was treated SO well. They treated her like family, answering questions she had within minutes (sometimes late at night). She and her husband received a thank you gift from RKH Images after booking, was given great advice prior to the day of, and then the day of was just spectacular. I was the maid of honor and we all felt comfortable with Kyle and Tracy when it came to posing for wedding party photos. They were just so nice and it was clear they wanted everyone at the wedding to have fun. Not only that, they got samples of their day within 24 hours of the wedding that we could all enjoy!! :) I was in my other sister's wedding and I have to say, it was the opposite experience. ar what it was actually like. Hiring RKH Images took so much stress off of us. Their whole goal is to make sure you are stress free when it comes to photography, and hopefully for the day. Kyle kept telling us, "You two worry about getting married, we worry about the photography." He wasn't kidding. I didn't have to worry one bit about the photos.
Kyle and Tracy are highly organized and prepared, which I appreciate. Their customer service is TOP NOTCH. rried in 2020 has been a real ordeal. We dealt with so much. Making simple phone calls to vendors was something that we emotionally had to prepare for because we had no idea what to expect. Not only were Tracy and Kyle easy to work with in regards to the postponement of our original date, they were there for us. I must have emailed Tracy a dozen times and she responded within minutes, always with an ear to just listen. Even if I needed to just vent about things going on, she would listen and ask if there was anything she could do to help make it better.
Both Kyle and Tracy took care to wear masks and distance themselves properly from our guests on our day, photographing with long lenses when necessary. They would always ask if people were comfortable with them approaching anyone. Right now, no one has any idea how anyone else feels, so their concern made everyone comfortable.
The day flew by smoothly and efficiently and they got photos of everything. Everything we wanted, things we don't even remember seeing, and more.
We absolutely loved our photos and loved working with them. In a time where you are seeing everyone's true colors, seeing people like them that are clearly very caring means the world.

We were working on a budget with our family helping out and it would have been very easy to go with a big company for photography. But we really wanted that personalized feel and that is exactly what we got with the two of them. yle and Tracy are professional, punctual, and my personal favorite attribute: they are active listeners. They took the time to get to know us as a couple, and made great judgement calls during our wedding to decide what my husband and I's priorities were. They even had the patience of dealing with my very large family! They engaged with our guests, which made the event for them a little more special. They worked very well with our event coordinator, and were very considerate of the space.
At the last minute, one of my husband's relatives asked if she could film the ceremony. I didn't want to be the party-pooper bride, and tell her no. Fortunately, Kyle and Tracy were able to work with her on positioning, and they were able to come up with a plan so both of them could do their job.
I think what else is really cool, is they have diverse skill sets in photography, and they aren't afraid to take artistic opportunities that really gave us some unique photos!
From a financial standpoint, their pricing is very fair. From day one they tell you what their services cost, and they won't tack on any fees later down the road. They were willing to drive from Burnsville to Anoka county for our complimentary engagement shoot. Honestly it probably took them longer to drive there than the duration of the shoot. I'm so grateful they were willing to make that drive through 35W construction!

Leading up to the wedding, Tracy and Kyle were very responsive and helpful. Always quick to answer any questions and put any concerns to bed. We had our final meeting with them a week or two before our wedding day to tie up any loose ends. They asked us about any photos we really wanted to have done and even worked off a Pinterest board we'd created with other photos we loved! They wanted to make our big day as perfect as possible, which anyone getting married can certainly appreciate.
On our wedding day, we didn't feel uncomfortable with them being around and taking pictures of us getting dressed/kissing all day. We were really worried we would be stiff and uncomfortable with someone being around for our most intimate moments of the day, but not Kyle and Tracy. They're incredibly professional, but their bubbly, fun, funny, casual personalities helped relax us and it really shows in our pictures. They were great with dealing with our wedding party and families and made sure we got every picture we wanted. They never came off as stressed or annoyed or bored. They were having just as much fun as we were!
When it came time to get our photos roughly a month after the wedding, Tracy and Kyle had us over for dinner and a viewing of them all. Again, what other vendor is so awesome as to do that?! To say the final products we received were amazing would be a huge understatement. Every photo was beautiful and they got so many it really felt like we were going through the whole day again! Not one single detail was missed and they even captured some that I didn't even think of/know I wanted to have memorialized! We are so thankful for the work that they did. I could not more highly recommend RKH Images. They were by far our favorite vendor and we will absolutely be recommending them to every single person who needs any kind of professional photography done! Tracy is incredibly organized with setting up meetings, the engagement shoot, wedding day timeline, etc and was quick to respond to all our emails. She also shoots with Kyle and does a lot of the editing - including getting the extra redness and sweat off everyone’s faces on what was a very hot, humid wedding day. They know how to keep things light and fun when it gets awkward being in front of a camera for several hours and are generally just very nice people. Their style reflects their ability to achieve details in low light conditions, this was important to our wedding as we had soft lighting in our venue. Kyle and Tracy were able to provide direction when needed and were extremely fun to work with. They made us feel like friends rather than clients. As a married couple, we very much enjoy capturing one of the happiest days in a couples' life together and have since 2010. We shoot weddings full time and focus solely on your day, your photos, and your happiness. It's a great profession and we have gained many great friends from our clients. Outside of work, we love hanging out with our pets and being little music and movie geeks. Geeks rule.
