RLE Charleston

Stacey is a dream! Wonderful at her job and such a lovely person to be around. She is connected with amazing vendors who made our day unforgettable. It’s tough to plan a wedding remotely, but Stacey took care of everything! She knows the industry and captured our vision for what we wanted our wedding to be. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about her and her company!

Stacey is absolutely fantastic... We had a very complicated wedding - two venues, an ethnic ceremony, two catering teams partnering together, and it was a destination wedding... so my fiance and I had only met Stacey twice in person before our wedding week. She was great through the planning process, finding vendors who would work within our budget and creative solutions to have great (affordable) decor. She was also my eyes and ears in Charleston, letting us know if there were any concerns with vendors and calling or texting me right away if we needed to take care of things urgently. On the week of the wedding, she did everything in her power to take the stress off of us and our families - from managing all vendors 7 days out to watching the weather forecast to determine whether we needed to revert to a Rain Plan, she literally is the BEST and if you're looking for a planner - stop looking, hire RLE!

Stacey and Missie were wonderful! Throughout the process, Stacey guided us to wonderful vendors that were within our budget. She had creative ideas for the reception and decor - things not "done" before. On the day of, she handled any little snag - I was blissfully unaware of any issues until after she had solved the problem. Stacey was responsive and always helpful. She was attuned to everyone's needs and would just appear before you even realized you needed her. I cannot recommend anyone more highly than RLE.

Overall I had a very good experience with the girls at Red Letter Events. They were always very nice and easy to work with, and the wedding came together wonderfully. My only complaint would be that towards the end it felt like I wasn't really a priority and they were focusing on something else. I was told our planner wouldn't be able to be at our wedding because she had a family emergency, but another vendor said she was at a different wedding with him that day. They ended up introducing us to a day-off coordinator from a separate firm about a week before, which made me nervous (and was something they said in our first meeting that they would not do). The woman they brought in was very good, and like I said the day was fantastic, but small things got missed (e.g. I had to ask several times about a song we had planned to play before it happened, nobody packed a to-go basket so we had to order a pizza when we got to our hotel afterwards). But in the grand scheme those things aren't deal breakers.
