Capturing Every Intimate and Elegant Detail

ROAN is a wedding photography and videography business operating out of Santa Barbara, CA. If you were only to know one thing about us it is that we are not going to show up, shoot your event, and leave. We are here to create alongside you and get to know you not as a business to a client, but from one friend to another. Roan is the name of the mountain where quite a bit happened. We developed friendships there, celebrated birthdays, shot several photos and videos, and even graduated college on top of it (ask us about it!) We have been shooting weddings since January 2020, and are on wedding 100 as we write this. We love shooting film, vhs, super 8, and digital. We strive to tell a story that is cinematic and romantic, but fun and endearing at the same time. Roan was created by Preston and Anthony. Two best friends who love bringing people into our circle and celebrating their story. Anthony specialized in photography and film videography, while Preston captures riveting visuals through drone and digital media. Warning* we will be taking over that reception dance-floor by the end of the night.

nd maybe awkward with a stranger photographer, but we didn’t feel that way at all. He made us both feel so comfortable from the start of the day to the end. He also clearly has a lot of experience and is knowledge in his field. I absolutely loved my wedding day and hiring ROAN was the best decision I made. I recommend them to anyone!!

As the bride, I was worried that the photographer and videographer would stick out trying to do what they need to do, but I hardly recognized their presence as they so candidly and authentically captured each aspect of the day. They were so pleasant to work with and I am beyond satisfied with the results of their work from my wedding! 10/10 would recommend.
