Rob is by far one of the best wedding photographers in Austin. He photographed our wedding and our photos are incredible! Every photo is purposeful, framed beautifully, and tells a...
story. We looked at a ton of wedding photographers and his work was unmatched. If you're trying to decide between photographers, I would 100% recommend going with Rob.
My wife and I married in Brooklyn, NY this past summer, June 2023. After booking Rob, we had multiple zoom calls to not only discuss the plans, expectations, daily schedules, etc.,...
but to get to know one another, and feel comfortable bringing in an outside party on an immensely special day. Rob was an exceptional photographer, even our friends and family involved in the photos all had wonderful things to say about him and his second/assistant photographer. Fantastic eye for locations, lighting, and inventive, unique shooting ideas.
Rob photographed our wedding in May and I had no idea our "backyard" wedding at our family ranch could look so stunning. We highly recommend Rob!

vest in a great photographer, photos of our day were really important to us. Rob was mentioned to us by a friend and we loved his style and unique shots. We booked Rob and are so happy we did! Throughout the process he was communicative and answered any of our questions.
Day of the wedding Rob and his 2nd photographer Andy were punctual and hit the ground running. Rob was clear with his directing, helpful with posing and was a pro at navigating our very large and complex families. Rob even showed up with a drone and got some incredible aerial shots of the venue and our special day.
Lastly, Rob went above and beyond to deliver us our photos after the wedding in such a thoughtful (and surprising) way. We will treasure that memory forever.
The photos capture our day with such love and happiness, thank you!!
What can I say! Rob did everything and more for our engagement and wedding photos. When collaborating with Rob, we expressed wanting a mix of traditional and nontraditional photos,...
and that is just what we got! Some photos center around the environment and composition, while others center around emotion and touch. His eye is so unique!
For our engagement photos Rob made it so easy to relax by reminding us to have fun with it. When the wedding day finally arrived, he was awesome at guiding us and providing support. He captured so many beautiful shots throughout the night and closed it out with a shot of tequila with us ;)
If you are looking for someone with a different take on capturing your engagement photos and wedding, Rob is definitely someone to reach out to.
Rob was super easy to work with and schedule for our engagement shoot. He went above and beyond and his final product was absolutely perfect. We're so happy with his work and we're...
looking forward to him photographing our wedding next year.
Our wedding photos were so stunning. When we shared them with our friends and family, everyone was in awe! We loved working with Rob. He is truly an artist!
Words cannot express how grateful I am that Rob August was the one to capture the most important moments of my life! If you are looking for wedding or engagement photographer, look...
no further – Rob is the GOLD STANDARD! Rob recently did our engagement photos on South Congress and our wedding ceremony at Hotel Saint Cecilia. His photographs are WORKS OF ART. Every single photo feels like it deserves to be displayed on a canvas. He is so easy and fun to work with - he made us feel so comfortable and confident, and after 5 minutes with him, I felt like we were best friends. He captured our personalities in the most artistic, modern, beautiful way. We will cherish the photographs for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much Rob!

Rob is hands down the best photographer you will find in Austin. He is not the most expensive one but probably top 80%. But the money you spent is worth it. He is very creative, de...
tailed oriented, highly technical, and energetic. Our friends told us our engagement photos are the best they have seen and were all wanting to know who is our photographer. If you want something that is artistic, exhibit worthy, and different from the rest of the traditional Texas bride's photos, Rob is your guy.
Rob photographed our wedding with such attention to detail and professionalism, all the while capturing the sweetest and most candid moments of the day. He is a real master at cap...
turing light perfectly, and has such an eye for composition. He is fun, thoughtful, and thinks outside the box. Cannot recommend Rob enough! You will not be disappointed if you choose him for your wedding.
Rob.....Where to begin...Well to begin, Rob is one of the most talented technical portrait photographers I have had the pleasure of working with. His command of the camera is that ...
kin to a sushi chef and his knife. Controlled, measured, and sometimes willing to try things that may not work but may end up with a fantastic new product. Rob uses very little post processing because of his light and spatial intelligence. His products look and have a feel of reality. With his command of lines, repetition in architectural spaces, light, and perspective he makes both his subjects and space relate and brings out the beauty of both.
Yes his pictures are good, but his client relations are equal. At our wedding he really engaged with the entire party. Either in individual shots or candids he manages to make people feel comfortable and forget they are having their photos taken. What could be an anxiety ridden uncomfortable situation, Rob peppers it with jokes and comments that get you to relax and smile even when you are trying not to.
Overall, worth every penny. To this day there is not a week that goes by without us pouring over our photos. He immortally made us look great on the one day we wanted to. Thank you Rob. We will and look forward to working with you in the future.
Best,
Mel and Matt
We must have looked at 30 different photographers before coming across Rob. One look at his photos and we knew he was it. We meet with Rob and discussed the plans for our wedding a...
nd engagement photos and it was like we had known each other for years. We got an itinerary for the day of for pictures and the order. He was very organized and was able to get all the shots as planed. He was professional, polite and my family just wanted to hang out with him the entire night. When the venue saw our pictures they contacted Rob to use them for advertising. Just hire him, you will not be sorry, best decision we made!
I can't say enough good things about Rob! Rob is a passionate and talented photographer, and it shows in his work. My fiance and I are very awkward in photos but he managed to keep...
us laughing the entire time. He captures every moment you were hoping for, and the times we will forever want to remember. You can't go wrong with Rob, I promise!
He nailed it!! He is a truly talented artist. He finds unique ways to captivate everything and has top notch equipment! Thank you again Rob for making our memories look good!
