Rob Charles Photography

There's so much planning that goes into weddings, and finding the right wedding vendors is really stressful. I can't tell you what a relief it was to know we chose such a talented photographer who we could trust. I'm very self conscious and neither me or my husband like taking photos, but he made us feel comfortable, and beautiful. I actually love my wedding photos even though i normally hate pictures of myself. They capture my partner and I so well. I am very grateful to have these photos that I will treasure for the rest of my life. I highly highly recommend Rob. Just look at his IG, his work speaks for itself.

to what we envisioned. Every single photo is absolutely stunning! He was running around and somehow managed to be everywhere at once, and didn’t miss a single thing! He is truly an amazing photographer! If you’re looking for a photographer who’s professional, kind, creative, and genuinely cares about telling your story — look no further. We’re beyond grateful to have these memories to cherish forever. Thank you Rob for giving us the most beautiful pictures!

ive energy that instantly put us at ease. He made us feel so natural in front of the camera—nothing ever felt forced or overly posed, which was really important to us. Rob has an incredible eye and a real talent for capturing not just beautiful photos, but real moments. Looking back at our gallery, we’re blown away by how many little memories and emotions he managed to preserve—things we didn’t even realize he was capturing at the time. He was so accommodating throughout the entire day and made everything feel effortless. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only professional and talented but also warm, authentic, and fun to be around, Rob is your guy. We’re beyond grateful for the memories he helped create and capture!

e. He is so kind and creative in his process and made us feel so comfortable during our first shoot! On the wedding day he felt like such a steadying force- his wisdom and knowledge helped guide us throughout the day. Rob was such a pleasure to work with and if you’re looking into him, you can already see his work is incredible and that’s what he delivers. We highly recommend!!!

e to shine through every shot. He helped with my dress as we moved around the venue, making sure I looked perfect while also making me feel so taken care of. His gentle direction allowed my husband and me to simply be in the moment, soaking in the joy and magic of the day. He gave us sneak peeks and We can’t wait to see the final photos, knowing they’ll be a window back into all the laughter, love, and unforgettable memories we shared with our family and friends. Thank you Rob for not only photographing our wedding, but for truly seeing us. Carla and Gil. 6.15.25

even surprised us with some sneak peaks while we were eating dinner at the wedding!! Absolutely unreal for him to do that. Rob and his team made my husband and I feel so comfortable during the entire day and kept the environment so fun and upbeat. All of our friends and family felt the same and gave such rave reviews (an impressive feat for a group of people who do not like photos!) His style is so classic and we know we will cherish these photos forever. We feel so lucky to have had him capture this special day for us.

xtremely adaptable, letting us change our engagement shoot location last minute when it no longer worked for us and patiently took our photos in the freezing cold and snow without any complaints or rushing. On the day of our wedding he was such a joy to have around. Our family and bridal party were huge fans. He adapted to time line shifts and made sure to get every photo on our request list. We had a preview of photos on his IPAD that night!!! And got our sneak peaks 4 days later, despite us being just 1 of 4 weddings he had that same weekend. So far every photo he’s ever shown us has been nothing short of outstanding and we are eagerly awaiting the full gallery because we just know it’s going to be perfect!

tion I could tell it was the right fit. He was kind and serious but also knew when to kick back and have fun. His attention to detail is amazing, and I learned to never doubt something he wanted to try. He checked in with us often to make sure we were all on the same page with the schedule and photos we wanted. My entire bridal agreed he was amazing to work with, made sure to keep us on track and get the photos we needed while also being playful and fun. He kept everyone at ease which a talent on such a busy day. While sitting down for dinner he even gave us sneak peaks of our photos which was such a treat!! His skills are unmatched. If you’re looking for someone to get the job done and have fun with he’s your guy.

wedding planning we've gotten to see just how kind, hardworking and dedicated Rob is. His unwavering support and guidance throughout the entire wedding process were invaluable, especially during those moments when we felt overwhelmed. For our engagement shoot and on our wedding day, Rob made us feel completely at ease, and we genuinely enjoyed every moment of working with him. His calming presence made everything run so smoothly on our wedding day and we truly can't thank him enough. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to have behind us on our special day. We just got our sneak peeks back and let me tell you, OBSESSED!!! Rob is an absolute Gem and any couple would be lucky to have him on their team for their special day! 10000x would recommend !!

I felt that he made our wedding day just magical. Since the beginning, working with him has been so smooth, stress free, and painless. I felt that he was very organized and timely in his outreach, meetings, and responses. We chose the simple packages for photo and video as we planned for a smaller and casual wedding (~50 guests). Even though I consider myself and my husband to be more introverted and camera shy, Rob and his videographer made us feel so comfortable. We were initially worried about not knowing how to pose but his guidance was helpful and didn’t feel forced/unnatural. He was extremely pleasant to work with and I felt like he and his videographer hyped us up for all the shots/footage they got. We received our wedding day photo sneak peaks and I am in love with all of them. I’m eagerly waiting for the rest of it and the video! I would recommend Rob 1,000%.

ng a list of our cherished shots, truly exceeded our expectations. Our day flew by but what I remember most was making memories and later finding that most of them had been captured in our photos. The amount of photos I went through was astounding and each of our guests was thoughtfully included, just as I had hoped. Rob created photos that weren't even on my list that are some of my favorites, it's everything we could have wanted! I wholeheartedly recommend Rob Charles Photography to anyone for their special day!

ecially since neither of us had ever had professional photos taken before. His friendly demeanor and reassuring approach helped us relax and truly enjoy the moment. On our wedding day, Rob expertly captured all the candid moments that made our celebration unique. We were amazed at how he blended into the background, allowing us and our guests to be ourselves while still getting stunning shots. The sneak peek photos we received just a couple of days after the wedding left us in awe—each image perfectly showcased the joy and love of the day. We highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for a talented photographer who can create beautiful, natural images while making you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Thank you, Rob, for capturing our special day so beautifully!

, Rob was everywhere capturing everything, as we wanted documentary style wedding photography. His work is beautiful, and he has a unique eye. He made us feel at ease and gave us direction as needed. It was a great experience.

y. The friendliest, most soft spoken and talented person we had ever met. We kept in touch with Rob for a few years until we had gotten engaged and even referred Rob to my sister to use for her wedding about 1 year ago. Finally our time had come and Rob was generous enough to travel a few hours up to Lake George to capture our wedding day. A traditional day with a few untraditional activities. We even got Rob to come out on a wooden mahogany boat for a photo shoot and an unbelievable ride with the boys. All in all we couldn’t have imagined our day without Rob. His professionalism with great sense of humor is something we will cherish forever. He is a master of his trade and his talent is like no other. Our sneak peak photos look like something out of a magazine. We cannot wait to see entire album! Cheers and thank you to Rob for making this day so special!

se we were able to get comfortable with Rob and being in front of the camera before our big day. The engagement shoot photos were gorgeous and it was such a relief as we approached the wedding day knowing that Rob was going to do an amazing job there as well. We also hired a videographer through Rob and it made the day seamless. Our friends and family were raving about Rob and his team throughout the day. And bonus Rob sent us sneak peeks the next morning! Absolutely insane! You can just tell working with him that he cares very deeply about his clients and his craft. We couldn't recommend him more!

ent shoot instead. He did such an amazing job and he was so prepared day of. He bought his equipment and even a DRONE!! We went to two locations, the American Museum of Natural History and the Castle on the Upper West side of Central Park. He let us be us but also posed us. We felt at ease and taken care of. He sent us back the photos pretty quickly too! 11/10 recommend!! 🥰

e booked Rob for both our engagement & wedding photos, and we could not have been happier with the experience. The photos speak for themselves. Take a glimpse at any of his work and you'll notice the incredible expertise. He has the ability to make you look stunning! Outside of the actual photos, he also has an incredible gift at making you feel comfortable throughout the photoshoot. He's laid-back, funny and suggests great poses that made my wife and I look fantastic! I will recommend him 10 times out of 10. And will using his services for every event in the future!

d, “we need to find a venue and date STAT so we can make sure we book Rob!”. And let me tell you, this man did not disappoint for a second. Rob is caring, creative, fun to be around and makes sure you don’t feel awkward or uncomfortable. He asks great questions to get to know you and is always around if you have a last minute worry you need sorted out. When we sat down to dinner at our wedding, Rob already had some sneak peek photos for my husband and I to enjoy! Remember that your photographer is there with you for some of the most intimate parts of your wedding day, capturing those moments you first see each other and the candid glimpses you forget about; you want to make sure you have someone there you trust and I couldn’t recommend anyone more than Rob Charles.

ponsive, helpful, and truly passionate about capturing our day. The day of the wedding, Rob was prompt and immediately got to work. He made sure we followed our timeline, as well as, captured every photo on our shot list. He was professional and interactive with our guests. We could not believe when we sat down for dinner, Rob already had sneak peeks for us to view at our sweetheart table. It was truly an honor working with Rob, and would choose him over and over again. The photos speak for themselves.

ng process. He made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable during both our engagement shoot and wedding day. The weather the day of our September wedding was less than ideal, but that didn’t stop Rob from capturing the most beautiful photos. We really appreciated Rob’s go with the flow attitude, creativity, and humor. We are so in love with and thankful for our photos and for Rob’s ability to make our big day so special and stress free. Thank you Rob! Victoria and Anthony

husband and I booked Rob for our wedding and engagement shoot. Rob is INSANELY talented and it doesn’t even feel like work. When we first met I told him I am not the most comfortable in front of the camera and he promised me he would capture our moments without stress. He kept his word! Not only did his shots come out PERFECTLY, I had so much fun! I am sad that our time together has ended and will most definitely book Rob without a doubt for anything in our future. I thank you Rob for making myself and Nico’s day so magical and stress free! We love and appreciate you!

and I, but the guests as well. Rob is incredibly talented and was so much fun to spend time with for both our engagement shoot and the wedding. He is also extremely organized. He made sure we were able to take all the photos we wanted and still enjoy our entire cocktail hour. We got married during a huge snow storm and Rob made me feel like a winter queen. He even brought us back outside right before he left to take magical nighttime photos in the snow. Thank you so much Rob for being so fun, creative, and talented. You really are the best!

hoot at a brewery, he knew exactly where to take us, making us fall in love even more with his work. My husband is not too comfortable in front of the camera & Rob managed to make him feel relaxed & confident. On our wedding day, I was a nervous wreck but, Rob brought the calmness that I needed. He kept us on schedule, answered all the random questions I had, & made our special day a million times better. He was truly able to capture the true essence of my husband and I. It makes my heart happy to have such wonderful memories captured. We are extremely grateful for all of Rob's work that helped make our special day so amazing!

ch a warm and wonderful person and made both our engagement shoot and wedding so comfortable for both my husband and I. He took some of the most amazing photos and he delivered our sneak peaks so quickly. One of the other awesome thing she did was have some of out photos displayed on an i-pad while my husband and I were eating dinner and It was just so nice to have a quick little view of our day so far and take it all in. Additionally our guests were able to look over some of these as well and they loved this little touch. I truly am so lucky to have had Rob recommended to us, our family and friends joke that he has now become the photographer that everyone will be using for all photos from now on because he is just so great to work with and and his work is that amazing. I hope everyone has a chance to work with someone as amazing as Rob, you wont be disappointed!

.

it, hire him you won’t be disappointed.

a blessing to have in the midst of planning a wedding. I’m still getting compliments from guests on his candor and artistry from the big day, and some of these guests are professional photographers themselves! We love our photos, our engagement photos too! I really cannot recommend him enough!

or this special time in our lives. Rob was so understanding when it came to out budget and never pressured us but after just one phone conversation with him, we booked him immediately for photo and video. We had the best time during our engagement shoot. It was the first time my husband and I ever had professional photos taken so we were a bit nervous in the beginning. Rob made us feel so comfortable. The shoot was natural and fun! We got to be our silly selves and Rob really ran with that. Our photos came out amazing. When it came time for wedding timelines and details, Rob took every text and email of mine. He worked with us every step of the way even when at times, we were unsure of what we were doing! We had very specific requests for the day of and he made sure to make those happen for us. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. When things got a bit crazy with timing and the bridal party, he reassured me the whole time and handled what needed to be handled. We never had to worry about a thing! We wanted the day to be candid and fun. Rob delivered. We are so grateful that he was there to capture the most perfect day of our lives. He helped make our dreams come true and we will continue to use Rob in the future for any other special moments that come our way!

ended was stunning. Rob really has a way of capturing the light that makes the photos special. Rob is creative and fun to work with. We cannot wait to see how the wedding photos turn out! Thank you Rob! Elise & Nick

gy to your day. He was incredibly organized (even more than the bride) the day of the wedding and because of him, we were able to get every family shot we wanted and STILL enjoy our happy hour. Incredibly efficient and his vision is so perfectly laid out. We got married on a flower farm in NY at peak bloom, and Rob did an amazing job capturing all the colors and aspects. We did a photo shoot at golden hour which are my FAVORITE photos. I cannot believe how beautifully he captured all the colors and moments between my husband and I. It was an absolute masterpiece. Between our getting ready and ceremony, Rob noticed we had sunglasses that could have “J&B” written on them. He stopped at a CVS and wrote on the glasses and created a montage of our guests wearing them. It was an AMAZING idea and was so cool - and he thought of this on the fly!!! Finally, Rob shot our family whiffle ball game in lieu of engagement photos and I’m so happy he was there. We have gotten so so so many amazing portraits of our family through Rob. His work will literally live with our family for years and years. Thank you Rob for being SO fun and so so creative. You are simply the best out there!!!

respectful, creative, and very organized! We were amazed at how he seamlessly moved through the party without being intrusive, and his professionalism was apparent, capturing both authentic and personal moments. We didn’t do an engagement shoot, so we weren’t familiar with being in front of the camera; however, Rob helped us with instructions, creating a natural sense of intimacy in all our pictures. His selected second photographer, Steve, matched Rob's proficiency in every way and was just as pleasant. We are absolutely in love with our wedding pictures! We could not have imagined a better photographer or person to have shared this experience with us. If you are wondering if Rob is the right photographer for you, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed!
