Planning for a wedding is so time consuming! My wife and I planned for 1.5 years. Picking a DJ is the primary thing- lighting, photo booth, music; the vibe! Rob Hines was professional, extremely helpful, and assisted with keeping us organized on all fronts. He sent out countdown reminders for everything! During the planning process, he helped us navigate a few forms to keep everything organized so that we knew all expectations. It was unbelievable! 10/10 would recommend and will use again in the future. Best DJ company on Long Island, hands down.

Rob and his team were wonderful and very easy to work with! We booked his team for our wedding at Sea Cliff Manor this past weekend, and Rob was detailed/meticulous in all of our planning calls and guided us on best practices for song choices, timing and personal preferences. We hired Rob Hines Entertainment for DJ service at our wedding reception at Captain Lawrence Brewing Company. Working with Rob and the entire team was seamless. From our first meeting with Rob, we knew we were in great hands. He explained everything clearly and was a wealth of knowledge. We were set up on the DJ portal almost immediately and were able to edit timelines, event details, and build our must play/don't play song lists with ease and at our convenience. Periodically Rob would send reminder emails that really kept us on track. At the event, our DJ and MC were incredible and professional. They kept the event moving along, worked really well with the venue staff, read the vibe of our crowd well, and didn't interrupt the music. Our guests are still talking about how amazing our DJ was and how much fun they had. My wife and I booked Rob Hines Entertainment for our wedding at the V.I.P. Country Club in New Rochelle, NY. We booked a DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They also provided an MC and we got the Photo Booth package which included a separate photo booth attendant. The planning process was very straightforward with a very easy to use and comprehensive website that covered any and all bases. We were able to submit song requests, including songs that were "Must Plays" and "Do Not Plays". There was also a timeline page on the website that really helped us to organize the various events throughout the day. Rob was incredibly friendly and willing to work with us throughout the planning process. He was always available and could be reached by phone and email. We even had a video chat with him that helped us explain our vision for the wedding. On the day of the wedding the DJ at the ceremony made sure to play the specific versions of songs that we requested and all PA equipment worked, allowing the beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour to go off without any issues. The MC was fantastic and made sure to confirm with us the order of events, and was very good at getting the party started. My guests were raving about the DJ, saying that it was some of the best music at a wedding they've been to. The DJ was very good at reading the room and I don't think there was a time where the dancefloor was empty throughout the 5 hours. The photo booth attendant was very nice and good at getting guests to loosen up while they took photos. The photos came out great and we were sent a copy of all photos taken at the booth! I would highly recommend Rob Hines Entertainment as the company provides everything on the entertainment side in a simple streamlined way that makes you feel at ease so that you can enjoy the event.

Wow, where do I even begin? While I could say just to look at every other review and just book Rob Hines Entertainment, it simply wouldn't do justice. Rob and his entire team (including Ivan, Angie, etc.) were simply the best - amazing, courteous, thorough, and above all, consummate professionals. From the moment we booked Rob Hines Entertainment, Rob walked us through each and every detail of our special day. As others have mentioned, his Planning Portal is so intuitive and easy to work with, it makes you think of ideas and items you wouldn't normally think of, and helps incorporate everything into one robust, easy-to-follow timeline. Rob then meets with you to go through it all, and by the time your Wedding Day comes, there is absolutely nothing unaccounted for. Additionally, a very special mention in regards to Rob's responsiveness - it didn't matter whether it was the week, weekend, day or night, as soon as I sent Rob an email, I received a response within the hour - absolutely incredible. If it was something that needed further discussion, Rob would schedule a Zoom call within the week. Simply put, the absolute best "vendor" we worked with during this entire 8 month process. We also had some cultural practices (i.e., choreographed dance routines) that we wanted to work into our Wedding Day. We thought about going with a DJ-service that "specialized" in this, but after our first meeting with Rob, we were sold - he had it all covered, and on the Wedding Day, his execution was flawless, and infinitely better than those who "specialized" in such Weddings. (Rob, the Westchester Pakistani community loves and thanks you for putting on such a great show!!!). Also, a special shout-out to Rob's Head Photographer, Angie, who went above and beyond during the photoshoots. She was so warm and patient, and always addressed the Wedding Party (i.e., Parents) with their personal names and official titles - never seen this before. Incredible. Any specific photo we wanted, Angie worked it in right away, and happily so. We just received a few sneak peaks of the Wedding Night, and 35 of the 35 sneak peaks are absolute home runs! During the Wedding, I had about 15 couples ask me about Rob's information because of the incredible show he put on, and I didn't hesitate for a second to pass along his information. For reference, we used Rob Hines Entertainment for DJ/MC, Photography, and Photobooth services, and having all of these must haves under Rob's umbrella saved us a lot of time, money, and heartache in searching for separate, independent vendors. Thank you to Rob and his entire team - we will definitely be using him again without a moment's hesitation for other family members events! My one takeaway for anyone reading this review...Stop, Hire Rob Hines Entertainment, and Rest Easy!

Rob Hines DJ our wedding and it was phenomenal!! We had extra effects like the floating on clouds, monogram, and saxophone player. They are so organized and easy to get a hold of with any questions your may have. Would love to hire them again for other events if I could!

We booked Rob and his company (DJ, Uplighting, Sparklers, Photo and Video) for our wedding and let me tell you, Ryan and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The attention to detail, the time spent, and the true care that went into planning our special day was something that made this day even more special. The whole crew was first class and personable. Normally, you would think the planning process would be hard and stressful but with Rob's knowledge and ideas, it made planning that easy and extremely stress free. If you are doing any kind of special event, Rob and his crew are my suggestion!! My family is already talking about using him in the future. The photographers/videographer's creativity and personalities were first class and after seeing the sneak peek photos, we couldn't be more excited to see all the content from our special day!! Our wedding was on July 7th and our photographer Angie was beyond AMAZING. She was extremely accommodating, even when our schedule was falling behind. She kept me calm and made sure to still continue getting all the shots we had scheduled. Rob Hines and his staff definitely brought the party to our wedding on 6/2/2023 at The Garrison! Throughout our entire planning process since the first day we signed our contract with Rob, he has been super attentive and helpful with our planning. His online forms made everything simple and easy to organize how the music was to be during our reception. We hired his company for our reception and our guests were always on the dance floor and raved about how much they enjoyed the music and MC, Ivan. We also had a projector set up to add some flair to our reception room which we definitely enjoyed seeing. Honestly, could not be any happier with our decision having Rob Hines Entertainment and his team at our wedding on 10/22/22!!! Rob was available throughout our entire wedding planning process and truly brought our vision to life. From the DJ and videographers, to the uplighting, sparklers and clouds, Rob gave us everything plus more that our guests are still raving about. Even a last minute change that I had for our grand entrance that required purchasing equipment the day of the wedding, he made it happen!!! Oh, and I cannot forget how quick the turnaround time was on getting our wedding videos - originally anticipated a 4-6 month timeframe based on how long other vendors took for our friends & family, but Rob delivered ours within 4-6 weeks, which is unheard of. 5 star service!! We booked the dj, uplighting, and photography through Rob Hines and he and his team did not disappoint! Communication and planning was top notch from beginning to end. The online portal system was an easy process and they did a great job with our must play/ do not play song lists. Everyone raved about the music selection (they still talk about it and our wedding was in October) and the dj had everyone dancing all night. We got so many compliments on the uplighting, it really made the venue pop, especially with our Gatsby theme. Rob even came to the reception and stayed the whole time to make sure everything went perfect, even helping us with the little things. I definitely would recommend Rob and his team for any future events you have!

Rob and his team are the full package! Most couples plan their wedding a year in advance but not us! We decided to have an Indian wedding in October and started planning in August. My best friend provided me with Rob's info and we hired his team for the MC, DJ, Photographer, Videographer - complete with a drone. He spent the extra time to meet with us in person and review the event portal that we had to fill out prior. It was great that him and his team were so organized and of course, wonderful to work with.

Where to start…. Rob Hines Entertainment absolutely crushed our wedding. The initial conversation was an easy going, collaborative process. Rob helped bring our ideas out of us and on to paper, and then eventually executed to perfection. Their website/portal is great. Super easy to upload music/playlists straight from Spotify, Apple Music, etc. The portal makes everything easy to do and find from planning to billing to scheduling to music. The day-of execution was perfect. DJ Orland, MC Ivan and our saxophonist Andrew killed it. They kept the party flowing all night and stuck to our “do not play” and “must play” lists. So many decisions go into wedding planning… don’t pass up a no-brained. 5/5 stars!! Can’t recommend enough!!

DJ Orlando MC John Had an absolutely amazing and beautiful night. Wow! Really blown away by this team. The dance floor was full the whole night. The indoor sparklers were such a great addition I’m so glad we had them! They really lit up the room!! Rob came and stayed the whole event and even surprised us with a co2 cannon. I cannot rave over them enough. 100/10 stars. I wish I can relive this day!

Working with Rob Hines Entertainment was such a pleasure. He was very thorough in following up with us through zooms and making sure we were on schedule throughout the entire planning process, and his online portal was amazing for selecting songs and keeping everything organized. When it came time for the wedding, his crew knocked its out of the park. I cannot be happier with our decision to hire Rob Hines and his team of DJ Ivan, MC John, and the Photography and video team of Angie and Eric. Rob is super organized and was always available to answer any questions and incorporate any last-minute changes. All of the DJ Equipment was top notch, very modern and the DJ was and MC were incredibly engaging and kept the party on the dance floor all night. The photo team had great idea for poses and guest combinations and the quality of the prints and video was unbelievable.

Rob Hines the owner of RHE from start to finish was very responsive and accessible. He had great advice & recommendations to make our wedding night unforgettable. He has a very easy & user friendly website that helped organize & keep track of how we wanted our evening to flow. Scheduling zoom meetings was also super easy & accessible through the website. Wr were also able to pick out songs on the website & even had a do not play list, this helped relieve a lot of stress & anxiety. The night of the wedding we had DJ Orlando who killed the transitions & had everyone dancing all night long. MC John brought so much energy & excitement to the party. Denise & Monika worked the photo booth. They were so nice, hilarious & organized. They made everyone feel comfortable & act themselves in the pictures. We received a digital copy of all our photo booth photos the day after our wedding. Which was so nice to re-live the night.

I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am with Rob Hines Entertainment!!!! We used them for our wedding and I was so happy with everything! Starting with the planning process, Rob gave us access to a easy to use online portal where we can put song requests, see our contract, and more! As we got closer to the wedding, we had a virtual meeting with Rob, himself, to go over what we filled out on the portal and mapped out our wedding day so everything runs smoothly, which it did. Finally, on our wedding day, the MC, Rocco, and the DJ, John, were beyond amazing! They took every request my guests had and had no one sitting down! Everyone was up and dancing the entire night. We used Rob Hines Entertainment for a photo booth for our July 16th wedding. Rob’s professionalism and promptness with getting back to us made it a breeze for my wife and I to choose their company. He gave us so many options regarding backdrops and photo card templates- style, colors, fonts, etc. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, the props they brought were fun, innovative & our guests loved them. The photo booth was so up to date & the attendants had a blast with our guests. We got The pictures emailed to us right away and they came out amazing! A great DJ made my daughter's wedding reception the best party ever. First Rob responded quickly to our request for information and this was followed up by a phone call to find out what we needed and wanted. He also set up a meeting a few weeks before the wedding to go over the schedule and plan out the type of music to be played. We also had a photo booth and they were very accommodating to the children who of course wanted many photos.

Rob is also super knowledgeable since he's been doing this for so long, so he was a great help in ironing out the overall schedule for our reception. Our DJ team was Orlando and Chris. Orlando was very attentive during our event to make sure all timing worked out perfectly. We also had a photo booth which all the guests loved! There is also a whole planning portal that he provides, which we really appreciated. We had the absolute best experience working with Rob Hines Entertainment. We originally booked with them after going to a friends wedding and having the best time. They were the only vendor we knew we had to have! We had to postpone twice and Rob was so flexible and understanding of our situation. Leading up to the big day, we met with Rob several times and he listened all of our requests, as well as providing guidance when we were stuck! His online portal was seamless to work with. When we finally had our day, Rob and his team was truly the best vendor we worked with. They were so helpful, professional and fun! Our friends and family could not stop talking about how great the music was, the dance floor was full all night. We also had the photo booth provided by Rob Hines Entertainment. There were fun props and the photos came out great. I loved how we could customize the photo strip to really match our event. We got a whole online gallery days after our wedding which was so fun to look through! Overall, I couldn't recommend Rob and his team more. We are so happy we had them at our wedding.

One word amazing. Prior to the wedding Rob made sure to Zoom us on several occasions to schedule the night out, make sure we had the music wanted on our playlist, and to discuss crew and set up. On the night of the event, we were lucky enough to have Rob attend, he did everything he could to have us not worry about them and anything DJ related. Let me tell you something DJ O had me and my wife rocking the dance floor the entire night, we didn’t want to sit for anything, didn’t want food, didn’t want cake, didn’t want anything besides continuing to dance. That magical night we had Ivan as our MC, he had everyone up on their feet the entire night, fully of claps, full of laughs, and full of fun. It was awesome 10/10 for the crew forreal!

Rob Hines entertainment company truly helped us create our fairytale wedding at Russo's On The Bay 12/18/21. They were beyond accommodating, especially with unfortunate rescheduling during the pandemic. The MC and DJ were amazing, and we loved hearing compliments from our guests. We chose Rob Hines Entertainment for our photo, video, DJ, MC, uplighting and mobile photo booth. Photo and video were so organized and made the most of our situation. It DOWNPOURED as we began to take our bridal party shots at planting fields but the team found a covered spot to shoot our photos. They were beautiful. Most importantly, they were timely and made sure we were on schedule the whole day. When we arrived to our venue and saw the room, the uplighting absolutely transformed it (highly recommend if your venue does not have this feature). Everybody enjoyed the mobile photo booth. It was super convenient since it does not need a designated area of your room. It definitely went to good use. Finally, I cannot thank the DJ and MC enough for making our party unforgettable. There was not one point in the night where the dance floor was empty. Guests still continue to tell us how much fun they had that night. Rob is very organized and stays in contact. Rob was amazing from beginning to end! He was incredibly flexible with us when we had to reschedule due to Covid. Very professional. He met with us several times via Zoom to ensure that we knew had to navigate the portal to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. His DJ Ivan - kept our guests on the dance floor all night! Many of our guests commented on how great the music was!

Rob and his team had previously done my mom’s wedding, as well as my engagement party. We were fortunate enough that he was available once we decided to book our wedding. And once again we couldn’t have been happier with the service we received! Rob is friendly and helpful, and his website, reminder emails, and final meeting held prior to your event all really helped me feel organized and at ease through the planning process. Rob and his team set up our whole ceremony, as well as provided music for our cocktail hour and reception. Our MC Brian and DJ Orlando kept people dancing all night and really understood what we wanted for our special night. We’ll definitely be booking with Rob and his team in the future!

There are not enough amazing things I can say about Rob Hines Entertainment!!! My husband and I used this company for our wedding and hired one of their DJs to work our event and the experience was absolutely incredible. From the minute we booked with Rob he was so professional and organized and made the planning process a breeze with his user friendly portal. We especially liked how we were able to meet with him a week before the wedding to finalize our plans. Ivan, the DJ that worked, was fantastic and really knew how to get the party going. My husband and I hired Rob very late in the game for our 1 year anniversary celebration! Rob Hines entertainment is top notch! We haven't stopped hearing from guests how fun the night was and how no one wanted to leave the dance floor. Even the little kids were out on the dance floor for the whole event. We went with the extra lighting package as well as having our name in lights and definitely were not disappointed. I would highly recommend booking Rob and his crew for your next event!

We ended up booking this company for our wedding after seeing them at our friend's wedding. They were GREAT! Rob (the manager/owner) is great to work with and is so professional and responsive. We had a cello and violin for the ceremony, background music for cocktail hour, and booked the classic package with lighting for reception. Our DJ was John, our MC was Brian and we added on a percussionist, Tommy, to add some dimension. The crew did a fantastic job pumping everyone up and everyone loved them! The highlight in my opinion was Tommy the percussionist. He was amazing and added so much to the entertainment. I highly recommend you add this on.

Rob and his crew were absolutely fantastic. He had great energy to get everyone on the dance floor to have a good time. His lighting was on point and the DJ played exactly what we wanted. He took the time to speak with my partner and I intimately to get to know us and that showed through the entire wedding. I highly recommend !

I booked Rob Hines as my MC and his team (DJ John, photographer Angie) for my wedding and it was one of the best nights of our lives. Mike and I are so happy and grateful on how smooth the night went. His team was professional, down to earth, and very intuitive. Guests who normally do not dance were literally dancing their butts off! DJ John is very talented and can feel out a crowd to make music transitions easily. The lighting was also on key with the music beat! When guests were eating dinner, the music was lowered so they didn’t have to scream over each other. I was able to upload my playlist beforehand on a website portal that Rob gave me and that made our music selections easy! Communicating with Rob was extremely easy. He called me a few days before the wedding to make sure the timeline was on point and that he pronounced names correctly because let’s face it—those Slavic last names can be difficult! Even my wedding venue thought that Rob’s team was amazing! I also booked an open photobooth with him which was a huge hit at the party! It was strategically placed at the venue and I had access to all the photos in literally less than 24 hours after my event! The crops were hilarious (PG-rated and R-rated—take your pick!) and since it was open, it encouraged lots of people to try it out! If you are ever on the fence of getting a photobooth, we HIGHLY recommend it! Angie was very creative, fun, energetic, hilarious, and is truly talented. She did an excellent job making the pictures fun instead of turning it into a “chore.” She was also interactive with the crowd and captured many highlights of my wedding. A few weeks before the wedding, I sent her my inspiration photos, so she got a sense of my style of pictures that I wanted. I will also be getting my wedding photo album from her. She is detail oriented and we are excited to see our wedding pictures! She makes your life easy, so you can enjoy! The team makes the event you are booking flow, so you can focus on everything else. Go with Rob and his team—hands down!

I booked a photo booth through Rob for my wedding in September 2019 and it was one of the top highlights of our event! From start to finish Rob and his team were professional and helpful in every way possible- from creating a beautiful personalized photo strip to providing the most fun accessories for our guests everything was perfect!! I was referred to Rob Hines through a few friends for my wedding in August 2021. Let me tell you, Rob was BY FAR THE EASIEST vendor to work with. He is such a sweetheart. When COVID struck down our 1st wedding date, Rob was proactive and reached out to me first. He rescheduled with no issues...he then rescheduled for a 2nd time with no issues....and then a 3rd. I know that we probably caused him some heartache (lol) but our wedding was AMAZING. Rob scheduled planning meetings with me and even helped us select music. The DJ was amazing and played everything we wanted (we had a lot of Italian and Spanish speaking guests). You definitely get what you pay for...I wish I could give them 10 stars.
