Rob Krueger Photography

My fiancé and I just had our engagement photos with Rob, and he was fantastic! We had our shoot in downtown Naperville, and he immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. He was so easy to work with, and you could tell that he has a passion for photography. The photos turned out beautiful! We were so impressed to find out that we would be able to get them in a week! I would definitely recommend Rob to anyone. I can't wait to have him photograph our wedding in July!

Rob photographed our wedding on 9/30/2017. He previously did our engagement photos and those turned out great. He made us feel very comfortable and captured a large variety of photos. He didn’t take up so much time that we felt like we missed a lot of our wedding. Rob was fantastic and we would definitely recommend him for wedding and engagement photos.

Rob was great to work with. It can be awkward having someone take pictures of you, but he made us feel very comfortable. We wanted our pictures to be unique & Rob gave us great location recommendations. He is extremely creative and made the whole process fun!

To be fair, this review is only for our engagement session and our meetings with Rob as our wedding is not until May, 2018. However, since our first meeting with Rob we were extremely impressed by his professionalism, passion and his work. My fiance wanted to book him right then and there but we still did our research and interviewed others. Obviously, we booked with Rob. We met with a larger photographer studio and another solo photographer and nothing compared to him. He understands that pictures are important and carries a backup on him at all times. His pricing I felt was fair and in the middle of the road. I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for. Our engagement pictures turned out amazing. Rob and his assistant were great to work with at the Arboretum. He knew of places that I didn't even know about and made it fun. People were impressed with how great our pictures turned out. I'm extremely excited to work with him on our big day. He has been great to work with, responding to my emails and crazy questions.

Rob did our engagement session and did an excellent job. He was very personable and helped to put us both at ease, in addition to taking great pictures. It was very helpful that he was familiar with the area and had many suggestions for locations. He was also very flexible with our schedule since we had to commute from out of town for the session, and accommodated our need for a last minute location change. I would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for professional photography services.

Rob is an outstanding professional photographer! His original presentation shows his variety of types of photos and his talent for capturing great photos of couples in engagement photos and fabulous moments at the wedding. Rob and his assistant met with us near our home town for our engagement photos. We went to a bunch of different locations and Rob's expertise in taking pictures made him spot great shots we never could have expected. Rob did a great job capturing great moments between my fiancee and myself. It was very exciting to get our proofs and I can't wait to see the finished project. Rob did such a fantastic job with our engagement photos! The photos are so vibrant and beautiful. Rob is so friendly and made us feel extremely comfortable during our photo shoot. Rob Krueger is not only an incredible photographer but also a great guy. Rob is very easy to work with and immediately helps you feel mellow and comfortable if you do not consider yourself to be a photogenic person such as myself. Rob was awesome! From the first time my wife and I met him in 30 degree weather in downtown Chicago for our engagement shoot until the day we said "I do" he took his time to make sure everything was perfect...and everything was! He did an awesome job and we are so happy

Rob truly was fantastic. He's super reasonably priced and made our special day so much fun. He was one of those photographers that would literally lay in mud or climb a mountain just to get a good shot . You can tell he is passionate at what he does and takes his time. Not once did we feel rushed or uncomfortable he actually made taking photos fun. Everything he did turned out amazing and we are truly happy.

Rob was an amazing photographer. We knew within five minutes of meeting with him that he was going to be wonderful to work with and he definitely did not disappoint. Rob was very thorough at our initial meeting and extremely responsive through all of our communication. Rob was very easy going and flexible with all of our requests. We had an amazing, wonderful experience with Rob. We saw some of the rave reviews he got from this site and others and he absolutely surpassed our high expectations. We hired Rob about a year out from the wedding and he did a great job staying in contact the closer we got to it. The day of was hectic as you might imagine, but Rob did a phenomenal job organizing both the guys and the girls, getting some tremendous shots, and capturing every special moment of our big day. He was able to accommodate every request we had as well and was wonderfully flexible throughout the day. We signed up for the photo booth as well which was an instant hit with all of our guests! Rob was fun, professional, more than capable, caught every bit of our day and our guests on film, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! If you're looking for a photographer, stop looking, you've found him. It's Rob.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Rob was excellent to work with. He was on time and professional. There is a lot going on the day of the wedding. He captured the bride getting ready, the groom & groomsmen getting ready, , the church ceremony , the pictures afterwards at Cantigny, He rushed to the venue to set up to capturing them at the cocktail hour and then the reception. He worked very hard that day and I truly appreciate all he did to make sure my daughter will get the moments in pictures of her special day!

Rob was great to work with! He was very flexible with the things we wanted to include in our package, and listened to everything that was important to capture! Working with him was comfortable and that made our pictures beautiful! Great work from him and his team!

Rob Krueger was a fantastic choice of photographer for our wedding on 10.8.2016. He was prompt, polite, flexible, and an absolute joy to have throughout the day. He is also very personable, and easy to get along with. We didn't have to check and make sure he was getting our shots, or ask for this pose or that pose, he just knew exactly what to do. In planning, we never had to wonder if we'd be meeting with Rob or one of his assistants, Rob is always the one you meet and plan with, and is your the one actually taking the shots on your wedding day. If there was anything we wanted or needed to get a shot of his response was always, "yes, let's do it." We hired Rob to do our wedding next year and he just finished shooting engagement photos for us. They turned out great and he made us feel very comfortable during the process even though my fiancé and I had no idea what we should do in the photos. We are so, so pleased with our wedding pictures from Rob! From the first time I spoke with him about what I wanted for our wedding, I could feel his passion and love for photography. He was always very responsive throughout the planning process, and he was truly committed to getting us the best photos possible. On our wedding day, he was so efficient and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted - and some we didn't even know we wanted! I felt like he was so in control during the family photo sessions, too, which is quite a feat considering the size and loudness of my family. Rob is simply wonderful. He listens well to your desires. He has a great eye. The pictures he produces are outstanding. I'm not talking about a few of them, but all of the are outstanding. He is great with both posed and candid shots. When the time comes that I need another professional photographer, my first call will be to him.

My husband and I used Rob Krueger for our November wedding in Chicago and he was wonderful! He was really easy to work with during the planning and always responded quickly to emails and phone calls. He got all the shots we wanted on our wedding day without being overbearing or obtrusive and was really easy to work with. My husband and I don't like having our picture taken very much and weren't eager to take too many photos. Rob was conscious of that and worked quickly with us to make sure we got lots of beautiful shots without having to stand around for too long. All the pictures turned out beautifully! We chose Rob as our photographer for our Engagement photos & (for our upcoming wedding). We had such an amazing time working with Rob, he is very passionate and easy to work with. We just used Rob for our engagement photos and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome! They are so beautiful and have just enough artistic flare. I feel that the photographs he takes is not "just a job", but a new exciting project for him. The variety of angles and what he views though his lens is truly spectacular. Rob was the photographer our son and daughter-in-law chose to capture their wedding day. He was extremely patient, kind, and very observant and easy to get along with. Rob's professionalism was beyond compare. He has a lot of ideas for the bridal party, he worked great with the kids, and was courteous to all the guests, young and old. Rob is a fantastic photographer! He was easy to work with from the moment we first met. He was professional, yet friendly, and thorough in his presentation of photographing weddings. Throughout the planning process he was honest and always answered questions in a timely manner. Now, for the actual day! We had some challenging familial circumstances to handle. He did a phenomenal job balancing both sides of the family and ensuring all of the necessary photos were taken. When photographing my large wedding party, he paid close attention to detail and everyone looked fantastic. My bridal party commented on how kind he was and easy to work with due to his clear directions. He didn't miss a shot and even finished his dinner early to capture a picture of my 3 week old nephew awake and happy! He never rushed anything, yet still stayed on time. (I should mention, he arrived in plenty of time to set up before our scheduled start time!) Upon receiving the photos within our agreed time frame, my husband and I were so very impressed. My friends have been complementary at how beautiful the shots were, as well. He didn't miss a single detail, and captured our personalities in a genuine manner. As I said in the title, I cannot say enough great things about Rob. You won't be disappointed in his professionalism, work, or business practices. So happy we chose Rob to photograph our wedding! I had very high expectations and they were actually exceeded! Throughout the planning process he was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. On our wedding day he was very professional (but still fun!). When he arrived, I was unavailable and he and his assistant asked my mom and bridesmaids for various items to photograph so he could get started. I really liked that he was so ready to go and didn't waste any time! He did a great job at capturing all the details throughout the day, nothing was overlooked. Our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and he even put together a slideshow of the best ones! I really appreciated that since I don't have the patience to look at over 1,000 pictures in one sitting. Rob seems to really care about every one of his weddings and it shows in his work!

We had Rob and his team capture our special day and they were phenomenal! Very flexible with meeting you at your convenience. No pressure to commit right away. We had a HUGE wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen! YIKES!) and he was able to capture all of our personalities. Works great with children too! We chose Rob to photograph our wedding which took place in August of 2014. I was an out-of-state bride, so I was anxious about choosing someone without meeting them in person. Upon our first phone conversation, Rob completely put me at ease. He is very assuring and is happy to explain the whole process to you in detail. Leading up to the wedding we stayed in communication and Rob was happy to answer any of my questions and concerns. When the day of event finally arrived, I could not have asked for a better experience. Rob and another member of his team, Jeanette, were true professionals. They were positive, funny and hard-working. What I appreciated most, was that they were able to capture all of the happenings of the day (i.e, getting dressed, the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc.) without being too invasive. They let things flow and were able to capture all of the highlights of our big day. We have received our pictures and what I appreciate most is the thoughtfulness and level of detail that has gone in to each shot. It is clear that Rob is an artist and has a keen eye for backgrounds and other elements that will make your pictures extraordinary. Overall, I would highly recommend Rob and his team to anyone looking for a photographer. Rob beautifully captured every important moment of this important day in our lives and for that I am incredibly grateful.

I like something a little different. I didn't want the typically poses of wedding photos that I had seen over the years. Rob nailed it. Our photos still have a wedding feel, but our personalities show. Rob is willing to step out of the box and make sure the bride is happy! Rob was always willing to listen to ideas I had and put them into reality. He responds quickly to any emails and never made me feel like our wedding was just one of many he was doing. He made our feel important. Definitely recommend for wedding photos and future family photos as well!

Rob photographed our wedding this September. First of all, he was beyond great on the actual day of - flexible, relaxed, and really good with our family members and guests. We just got the photos back and we could not be happier. I have no idea how he captured so many good shots! He was able to capture all of the right moments and emotions. The pictures even reflect the great mix of different personalities we had. My husband and I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

I met Rob at my daughter's wedding in May 2012. He made himself transparent to the event and was very personable and accomodating about all the different places she and her fiancee wanted to go to be photographed. When she got the photos back, the candid shots of her, her fiancee, and the photos of the wedding in general were absolutely stunning! I liked his style at her wedding so I took his card and booked him for my wedding in September 2012. The shots he took at my wedding were every bit as good as the shots he took at my daughter's wedding. I had no idea how he got as many shots of the ceremony, reception and my guests as he did, but he took all the pictures I would have taken myself if I could have. The quality of his work, coupled with the imaginative poses he somehow is able to capture with his camera, make him a highly-respected photographer in my book. I have to say that anyone who is able to make an older bride like myself look as good as a younger bride with his portraits HAS to be the person you want to photograph your special day! When my youngest daughter decides to get married, I already know who we're going to call to photograph her wedding. Thank you Rob!

Rob was recommended to me by a mutual friend. I met with him and felt immediately comfortable with him. He has an awesome personality! We used him for our photography services and he did a awesome job. All our guests complimented us on his ability to blend in and not be noticed during the ceremony as to not take the attention off the ceremony. I have A LOT of nieces and nephews, all of which were involved in the ceremony, and he did a great job photographing the family shots and kids shots. He is very personable and professional. I HIGHLY recommend him!!
