the contract, Rob first provided us with a complimentary engagement shoot - a really generous offer considering the market price of a regular engagement shoot. It also gave us the opportunity to get to know him a bit and understand his style. Leading up to the wedding, Rob and his team proactively reached out to understand our preferences and talk through various shots we wanted to have. This type of effective communication is exactly what we needed - it gave us one less thing to think about with our already busy schedules and all of the other vendors we had to coordinate. One of our concerns going into our wedding was logistics - our pre-ceremony (getting ready) activities, ceremony and reception venue were in three separate locations and required effective communication, tight organization around travel/personnel assignments and efficiency in the execution of the various photo and video shots we wanted to see. Rob & his team of one other photographer and one videographer nailed it; they were prompt with their arrivals, they took charge of the shots they wanted to achieve and they executed them in an efficient manner. We were thrilled. Personally, I’d like to call out Matt, the second photographer on the team. He went above and beyond in his job on our wedding day. Aside from all of the aforementioned adjectives above, Matt also had to deal with my ill-prepared groomsmen. One of my groomsmen had a few issue with his wardrobe, including the accidental untying of a bow tie. Nobody else in my house (where we were getting ready pre-ceremony) had any experience with bow ties, especially not clip on bow ties that had accidentally become untied. Matt had no panic, put us all at ease, and he confidentially tied the bow tie back together. He did all of this while successfully managing the regular logistics required from a photography standpoint. Thanks Matt!!! Lastly, Rob and his team delivered high quality photos and video exactly in the time window that they advertised (6-8 weeks post wedding). We received the shots right on time and we love them! Given our experience, we highly recommend Rob Martin Studio and their highly talented photographers and videographers. The combination of their high quality services and final result cannot be beat.

We worked with Matt first for our engagement session and he was super nice and made us feel very comfortable (we both have never really had professional photos done before, so that was really important to us). It was also a bonus that Rob, himself, was the one who would be there on our wedding day. Rob and his team curated the specific classic aesthetic we described. We had to fill out a shot, which put us at ease knowing that all the pictures we wanted would be taken. On the day of, they helped keep us on schedule. The team got every shot we wanted throughout the night without us feeling like we missed any of the party! We also want to mention that it was a Jewish LGBT wedding and they not only got all the necessary religious shots but made us feel so comfortable being a gay couple and taking romantic pictures throughout the venue. Once we got the sneak peaks we knew the rest of the pictures would be just as amazing, and they were. We also had Rob Martin shoot a video which was a great package. Between the photographers and videographers, we had all our special moments captured while being totally in the background and out of sight. We really appreciated the team checking in on us every once in a while to confirm the shots we wanted on the dancefloor were being taken. I’m not kidding when I say we look at our pictures and video trailer almost every day. It always brings a smile to our faces. We are now going through the pictures to decide on which ones should be in our album and it's so hard because every picture is a winner! He was quick and efficient and knew exactly the positions he needed us to be in so we were able to get our shots and get the fun started. I remember looking at my husband asking if Rob and his crew left and my husband pointed at them all dispersed so discretely and out of everyone's way. The day of the wedding Rob & his team showed up on time and ready to go. Right away they started snapping photos and video content. They got every single shot we wanted at both our Church and our venue and not once did we feel rushed or overwhelmed. From the family pictures, to our portraits, and our handful of special request photos - the team handled everything with ease. Once the reception started, I only remember seeing the team during our entrance and cake cutting. We never felt like the camera was in our faces - which was a big one for us as we wanted pictures of everything but also wanted to enjoy the night. Rob did our engagement photos in October of 2022 and our wedding in October of 2023. Throughout the entire planning process Rob was our easiest vendor to work with. Our wedding day was a bit chaotic due to last minute family illnesses and rainy weather, but Rob and his team put us and our family/bridal party at ease with their professionalism and warmth. Rob’s creative eye allowed for us to get every photo we asked for. He worked with the rainy weather and made sure that we had the best possible photos and video. Whenever we post a photo from our wedding on social media or show our family/friends, we get endless compliments of how beautiful our photos are.
