**Rob Rivers in OLD LYME, CT. Rob Rivers Salon did: Bride's hair and makeup, mother of the bride hair, godmother hair, six bridesmaids' hair. Bride: Had a trial/tutorial for hair and makeup. Joyce did my hair. I was nervous at first because it didn't stay up long, so I told her and she LISTENED. My hair stayed up on my wedding day for TWELVE HOURS (including vigorous dancing!). I brought some pictures and ideas (bring dress picture), and showed how my veil would work. She made it perfect! Makeup was equally lovely. I told them I wanted to keep my freckles showing and have a soft look. It was perfect. Bridesmaids: They took all 6 and did varying soft curls (half up) for each girl. I told each maid to do her own preferred variation of the hairdo, and the salon was able to accommodate. Local salon with lovely service. Price was pretty good, especially considering the area.

I had my hair done by the lady who did my mother's hair on her wedding day. it was very special. Rob Rivers Hair salon is very clean and welcoming. a little expensive but worth it, they do just what you want. I would recommend Lisa if you go to this Salon.
