I knew I wanted Robb as our photographer even before I met my husband! He was wonderful to work with. All of our guests raved about how fun he was and how good at his job he was. His work speaks for itself. He had a gallery on a loop at our reception, and got those pictures to me right away. I couldn't be happier that he was our photographer!

Robb was amazing from when he arrived to when he left. He made sure to get all the shots we requested and even checked with both of us before he left to make sure we got all those last minute pictures that we didn't even know we wanted. He had a slideshow playing by the guestbook that people were able to check out and those pictures were terrific. I can't wait to see the rest!!!

Booking Robb Davidson as my wedding photographer was honestly the BEST decision I made when planning. From start to finish, it has been so unbelievably wonderful working with Robb. He is super responsive, very knowledgable, and a whole lot of fun! We booked a comprehensive package with Robb, with engagement photos (complete with a guest book), wedding day coverage, a second photographer, and a third photographer for a photo booth at our reception. The engagement photo session was an absolute blast; Robb really helped us to feel comfortable with the process, and it was great to do a photo shoot prior to the wedding to ease what I call "photography nerves". (I like to laugh a lot, and sometimes that doesn't always look the best in photos; Robb totally knows how to work with that and produce AMAZING shots!) I think one of the other fantastic things to call out is that Robb really helped us come up with a realistic workable timeline for our wedding day. This was great for photos, but also great to share with other vendors too. Robb is definitely someone who helps you along with the process. Working with Robb and his other shooters our wedding day was SO MUCH FUN! Robb is such a great person; he honestly has such a beautiful talent, but he has such a fun personality too that we ended up enjoying the day so much more. He was with us in the morning through the evening, capturing all of these really amazing moments and keeping up a really impressive amount of energy, always with a smile. And the photos from our wedding day are nothing short of stunning. I am so thrilled, and very grateful to Robb for such an amazing day and amazing photography! My husband knew of Robb through a dear friend prior to even meeting me! So he was definitely on the shortlist of photographers we checked out for the wedding. After meeting him, I was like, "Yes! It has to be him!" Photography was a priority for us, and we just knew that Robb's uncontainable energy and hilarity would make for an incredibly fun day and great pictures too. Throughout the process, Robb had the perfect balance of making things feel light-hearted when I was stressed (my husband and I did a long-distance engagement) and also treating our photos and experience with much care. He took care of us in a way that felt like family. We did both engagement and wedding photos with him. They were both fun and great! Especially for the wedding, where there are so many involved, Robb was so adaptable-- with our crazy wedding party, he was laughing with us and going with all the crazy ideas. With our family, he was so respectful and made sure everyone who needed to be present was. This guy's a gem! We are so glad that we had Robb taking care of us that day-- and I forgot to mention, the pictures turned out beautifully! We've gotten that comment from many many people :)

ROBB IS AMAZING!!! I knew Robb many years ago and when I found out that he was a photographer, I immediately wanted him to photograph my wedding. He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about photography, and so talented. It really helps that he shows true interest in getting to know you as a couple, and makes you laugh so much along the way! He knows exactly what memories to capture, and even stayed at my wedding way longer than his contracted hours just to get a few last shots, which was so appreciated. The pictures came back to us SO FAST and were nothing short of amazing. I have gotten so many compliments about the pictures and people even expressing jealousy that they didn't use him for their wedding!! LOVE LOVE LOVE ROBB and his amazing work! You have to use him!!!

Robb is amazingly fun and talented. My fiancee and I hired Robb because of his fun personality and beautiful work. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that he shot 2 years before my wedding and knew immediately that Robb would be the perfect photographer for our wedding and he did not disappoint. Robb was incredibly easy to work with and on top of everything before I could even think of it. We haven't gotten our photos back yet, but I don't have a single doubt about how amazing they will be. Robb is flexible and fun which is makes it fun for the whole bridal party and family members. My family was completely in love with Robb and wants to continue to use him for any family portrait sessions that we do in the future. With all of the money that is spent on everything else for a wedding, spending some extra money on an amazing photographer is 100% worth it.

I am writing this as a person who has not only had Robb as our photographer, but also as someone who has been to two other wedding where Robb has been the photographer. Not only does he always get the best shots, but he is like a member of the wedding party. I have been to weddings where the photographer is awkward and people try to avoid them throughout the night, but Robb is right there on the dance floor, dancing right next to us! A few times throughout the night I would say, "Oh, Robb should get a picture of this..." and before i could finish he was already there getting the best shots. We have seen a few of our shots so far and they are absolutely incredible. Robb is not the cheapest photographer out there, but you definitely get what you pay for...and remember this is a day where there are no re-do's. If your photographer misses a shot or screws it up...they can't have you do your 'first kiss' over again! Robb will not miss the shots and will make you look better than you ever thought you could. He is honestly one of the most positive people we have ever met. Our entire bridal party kept saying how much they likes him and enjoyed him being there as a part of the day! Robb is the most genuine person we have met in planning and coordinating our wedding. From the moment we met him, we knew that our day would be perfectly captured and that we would all have some fun while doing it. Working with photographers in the past, I knew that they can be stuffy and rigid when things aren't going to plan. Sometimes, they can even get downright rude if you aren't following their schedule! With Robb, not only did we not have any fears of this happening, but we can truly say, that he helps CALM the day! He laughs, he makes you laugh, and he captures all of the moments with care, craft, and delight. Having looked at his body of work before-hand, we knew that his style was fresh and candid, but could also do a great posed shot too. But, after we received our previews from our wedding on 12/14/12, we can truly say that couldn't be happier. Not only was the experience grand, but the results are more than we could have ever hoped for! Robb went above beyond to make us happy and even met with us several times before to get a vibe for how we were. During the reception, he even set-up a monitor with a slideshow of some of the freshest pictures taken over the day - some just minutes old! In the future, if we are blessed with children, or need a photographer for ANY reason, there is only person we would contact, and that is Robb Davidson.

To those looking for a photographer, Robb Davidson was an amazing person to work with. He is personable, puts you at ease, doesn't force you and your wedding party/family into awkward poses, and is worth every penny. I had so many compliments on Robb and the work that he was doing before the night was over. He also brought his Mac to show some of the pictures from the day during the reception so that people could see pictures right away! Total cost $2200 for unlimited hours of service on my wedding day, plus he provides full rights to all pictures and even includes 15 or so prints included in the cost. He was amazing!

My husband and I got married on July 5, 2008. We were blessed to know Robb as a friend before we asked him to be our photographer. He was creative in his shots, edited the shots beautifully and camptured the moments that meant the most to us. He is a very personable photographer that listens but takes charge when he needs to. We couldn't be more thankful for the time he spent with us and his talent. To be honest... if we still lived in the Chicago-area we would use him for all our photography needs.

I went to college with Robb, and have seen his work from other weddings that I was in/at, so we didn't even think twice about who we were going to choose, and I am so thankful that we didn't! Robb actually changed his travel schedule to be with us on our big day, and was a blast to be around the whole day. He's funny and laid back, both excellent qualities on such a big day. And besides that, his work is unbelievable. There are moments that I remember thinking "Why on earth is he taking a picture of that?" (like me putting in an earring), but then the pictures are absolutely stunning. I have literally never seen a better picture of myself or my new hubby. (And we don't even have all of the pictures back yet, as our wedding was very recent.) We chose to pay for about everything Robb offers (engagement shoot, second shooter, ect), so it was just over $3,000, but even with our tight budget, I had no qualms about the price, he was worth every penny. We still get to pick out some included prints, which I am excited about, and we get the rights to all of our pictures, which was a big selling point for the husband. Robb not only captured our day in a way I didn't know was possible, but he actually added to the fun of the day. I couldn't have possibly been happier with our decision, and will hire Robb in a heartbeat for anything else we do that is worth photographing. Also worth noting, Robb edits some pictures during dinner and has a slide show of the day so far up around the end of your first dance. It was incredible. I cried looking at the amazing shots he had already gotten, and it had been like an hour since it was actually happened. He's really that good.

Absolutely stellar. I would not in a million years chosen to go with a different photographer for our wedding. From my personal, biased experience, Robb is a hilarious, easy-going guy who adapts well to all situation and captures awesome shots in any and every circumstance. He was personable, fun to work with, and super-easy to relate to. On a professional level, I've never met someone who can be so calm, relaxed, and personable while producing such an amazing, "wow-factor" product. My favorite thing about his work--he captures awesome pictures of you just being...you. My husband and I could not be any goofier or awkward when it comes to taking pictures, and Robb somehow makes us look normal and put together in his shots. We actually had a second shoot of engagement photos with him and few months before our wedding just because we loved his work so much, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Robb has this amazing way of letting you and your partner act and react to each other the way you normally do, and then captures the essence of your relationship in a still-shot to create a story of your relationship. This guy's also got a bit of experience to back him up. You could, of course, check out his blog online (brides, be ready to weep when you look through them), just to see how professional and unique his work is. He's also a communications major, attesting to the fact that he's awesome around people and not only reads, but captures, body language really well. I could look through any picture from our engagement session or wedding and let you know exactly what I was thinking at that moment because of the way he captures it. These pictures seriously don't need captions to explain the story that they tell, and I'm so excited to have them to tell our story to our kids and grandkids. A couple of sidenotes-- Something that our guests thought was really cool-- Robb set up a screen and played a slideshow of pictures at the receptions that he had taken earlier in the day from the ceremony, etc. It was neat for everyone to be able to see the pictures throughout the evening. Also, we were so pleased with our experience with Robb, he'll also be shooting my sister's Quincinera this November. My brother-in-law and his fiance also switched photographers for their wedding once they saw Robb's finished work. I should probably stop complimenting him before he becomes too popular, otherwise I'll never be able to book him again. Price-wise, I think we got a bargain, especially considering prices that other photographers are charging. I think we were around $2500 for two photographers (the second photographer was $400, I believe), and we had them for the entire day/night/whatever, until we were done, which was awesome, because a lot of others were only offering 6 hours of photography and additional costs if you wanted them longer or for additional photographers. Robb was super flexible with our crazy schedule and any/all changes that occurred throughout the day; it was such a relief to not have to worry about him at any point throughout the day. I give Robb 6 stars our of 5 and encourage you to look into him as a potential photographer if you're in the market for one.

Robb was amazing to work with! He was there from the start of my day and he was the last one to leave. He worked with my husband and I and made sure we were happy with what he was doing. He is fun and energetic and very creative. I would recommend him hands down to anyone!

I was referred to Robb by a professional photographer I used to work with, and I could NOT be happier with him! Young, energetic and a great eye make him a perfect photographer to get every special shot. Everyone that has seen my highlight photos has raved about how amazing he is! NOTE: Robb does what YOU want, so if you want to have alot of posed photos (wasn't a priority for me) bring a shot list or send to him ahead of time so you get those, otherwise he will go with the flow of the day and not try to over direct everything! Also, having a second photographer at Robb's prices was amazing.

Choosing our wedding photographer was one of the most difficult choices because pictures are so important to us. We are more than happy that we went with Robb. He has an extremely professional quality as a person and with his work. He also brings a relaxed and fun approach to his work which brought a lot of life to our engagement and wedding pictures. Something that we loved about Robb's service is that he does not charge per hour on the wedding day but will arrive whenever you desire the morning of and be the last person to leave the reception if you would like him to. Another great thing that our guests really enjoyed, was at the reception, Robb set up his mac to display a slide show of pictures from the day up to that point. Everyone loved seeing them! We had crowds of guests standing around watching it scroll through. Everyone was of course saying how amazing they all looked!! I can't say enough good about Robb.
