UPDATE:
I want to thank Anthony Rodriguez and Charles Mayrsohn for correcting this situation. They contacted me the next day and got everything straightened out. I have eliminated the sales persons name as I understand people make mistakes.
Thank you for doing the right thing and fixing the situation.

My wife and I went into Robbins Brothers in Glendale on 2/17/2020 to get her annual cleaning.
While we were there having her ring cleaned, we decided to look at Tacori wedding bands to match her ring. The sales person took us to the Tacori section and began showing us the different examples.
My wife tried one on that she really liked. It matched her wedding ring perfectly. Sales person says "You're not going to believe it", "This one is half the price of all he others, for Tacori that is a great deal". So of course we said, we will take.
He takes the ring to the jeweler and comes back to write up the paperwork.
Again he says, "You are getting a great deal for Tacori, it's good you are purchasing it today, if we we ever wanted to restock that item it would be at market value." He then asks us to come back the next day to pick up the correctly sized wedding band.
Upon arrival the following day, he comes out with the wedding band and immediately puts it on my wife's finger. As anyone would be, she was extremely excited and happy that for our two year wedding anniversary we finally purchased her wedding band.
When my wife and I got into our car something felt off. I told her to take off her ring and sure enough, it was a Robbins Brothers branded ring instead of Tacori.
As you can imagine, we were extremely upset. We immediately went back inside and asked him why this was not a Tacori wedding band. The salesman said "I'll be back" and took all of our paperwork and ring into the room in the center.
We waited for about 10 minutes before came back and asked us to go to his "office".
He then proceeded to tell us that he was sorry. The ring that we purchased a whole day before, was not actually Tacori. That it must have been placed in the wrong section of the store.
How is something like this possible? Doesn't it show the product name at the point of ringing it up? Or at the point of logging it into the system?
The fact that he tried to scam us and force a sale down our throats is completely disgusting. He did not even have the decency to tell us after he swipes our credit card to correct his mistake.
Additionally, he also had the opportunity to tell us prior to picking the ring up and wasting even more time driving down to the store for the second time.
This is a complete lack of respect. We went to a business we thought we could trust. That was not the case, we were tricked and told we were buying a Tacori ring and it was something completely different.
I asked to speak to the manager Charles Mayrsohn, he was shocked that something like this could happen from so called professionals. He refunded us our money and said he would discuss this with the Vice President.
As you can imaging this was crushing for my wife. The look on her face when this all happened is something I will never forget. The fact that Robbins Brothers as a company would cause so much pain and anguish to a paying customer is disgusting.
I will never shop here again. Nor will I take my wife's Tacori engagement ring here for cleaning again. Id rather pay someone else to clean it. Forget that stupid warranty they sell you. I'm sure most of it is BS also.
no pressure staff. we went at least 6 times before we decided. we waited till we found what we were looking. they never stopped helping us find the perfect rings.
The service was extremely fast. We were in and out with our wedding bands in 30 minutes with a cute gift bag in hand!
They are so professional and polite. They helped my husband pick out the PERFECT ring and I could not be happier!
I love looking down and seeing my wedding and engagement ring! They have the nicest staff there and the same lady who helped us find my engagement ring shall helped us pick out out wedding bands. It meant a lot to me to be able to have our rings engraved just like my grandparents had theirs and they were able to help us with it.
My wedding band and engagement ring were purchased at Robbins Brothers. They are both simple and elegant. The service was great as well.
Standard stuff in the store. Good enough value, perfect for my groom's ring, as he wanted nothing unusual. However, I did not find anything interesting for me. Find a local jewelry store if you, like me, want something special.
I was hesitant to go to "The engagement ring store" but I was very pleasantly surprised at the personal care we were given.
Jennifer helped us pick out my engagement ring and we were so happy with it that we went back for my husband's wedding band also.
They literally have every ring imaginable and can customize as well. They also have amazing insurance and cleaning services as well.
My husband had originally bought my engagement ring at Robbins brothers so we went back for our wedding bands. I loved their service, attention to what we wanted and follow ups. Highly recommend.
There was a great selection and we ended up going with a Simon G. which I get compliments on all the time. Friendly and professional service each time we visit also!
Both my husband and I got our rings from Robbins Brothers. Their service is five-star, and they really work with you to find the perfect ring. They even offer a package that allows you to "insure" your diamonds as long as they are checked yearly. If one falls out, they guarantee the replacement.
My husband and I went to this store to look at rings and he found the perfect one to ask me to be his wife. We went back to get bands that would coordinate with my ring. The appointment started out well. The guy was nice and helpful and we found what we were looking for. Then when it came to the financing part of it, it went down hill fast. The guy that helped us left to look up my husband's information for his line of credit...we heard the whole thing so it wasn't private. Once he found out what it was, he came back with earings to try and sell us and we respectfully declined. He left to return the earings only to return with a different diamond. He then proceeded to tell me that the diamond in my ring was "nice, but this one is bigger." I know a sale's persons job is to sell, but to tell me that the ring my husband picked out wasn't good enough was totally offensive. The diamond I have is perfect, and he couldn't understand why I wouldn't want a new one. I feel he wouldn't have done that if the credit limit wasn't what it was. When we left, I was so offended that I couldn't even look at the guy. I'll never purchase anything from this store again.
While our wedding bands were slightly overpriced from this store, they rings are lovely. The service and knowledge was fantastic. We also love the guarantees that Robbins Brothers provides on all of their pieces.
There is such a huge selection, and the staff is very helpful!
Great customer service
My wife still loves his ring and his ring still shines like from the first day that I gave !
It's my treasure,I love it ! My husband gave me the ring inside of a sea shell,he bought my ring in the U.S.A we got married in Lima Peru !
We purchased both mine and my husband's rings from Robbins Brothers. They had a huge selection, so we both were able to find just what we were looking for! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, and made it a very pleasant experience!
The rings were perfect!!
My fiancee found my solitaire engagement ring here and they did a great job of supplying exactly what we wanted and could afford. They have a huge selection of engagement rings, wedding bands and men's wedding bands as well. The insurance/assurance plan for the rings are affordable as well. We will be coming back for his ring and my wedding band when the time comes!
My engagement ring is the best! I had them make it based on another ring that I already had. The diamond is absolutely beautiful. We decided to go with Robbins Bros because of the name and the service we knew we could get down the line. After going to the LA jewelry mart I wished I had gone there first, just to see some of the designs. But when you know what you want, you just know! I go get my ring cleaned for free and it looks like new every time. I've gotten it cleaned other places and it's not the same! Robbins Bros is a very reliable place to buy a diamond ring. And I researched the diamond elsewhere, it is also a good price.
Although I'm typically not a fan of chain stores, I absolutely love the ring my husband chose (all on his own) for my engagement ring. He knew a few particulars on which cut I tend to like, but knew very little about diamonds, aside from a google search on what you should look out for when purchasing a diamond.
Still nervous, the staff at Robbins Bros. made him feel reassured by helping him find the right ring as a token of his love.
They have also assisted with proper band sizing and cleaning. Very helpful and friendly.
We live a block away from a Robbin's Brothers so it was the first logical choice to check. They had many gorgeous options we were there for a few hours. I'm very happy with my choice but they wouldn't budge on the price due to the designer name but my ring is perfect and exactly what I wanted!
