Robert Brown was amazing! He was very professional and kind throughout all of the wedding planning. We had to push our wedding date back due to COVID and he was very understanding. He went above and beyond many times for us. An example, my wife wasn't sure what song she wanted to hear when she walked down the aisle. Robert made a recording of the song we were considering within a week! He has beautiful arrangements and has an extensive repertoire. We were very impressed and glad we went with Robert!

Robert Brown is a true professional. I chose his guitar/cello duo for my ceremony, and the music they made was exquisite. They were easy to work with. Robert went above and beyond to prepare a special song for the ceremony, and it was perfect. I highly recommend Robert Brown as well as the cellist, Jennifer Higgins Wagner.

Hiring Robert was a late-in-the-game decision, but one of the best we made. We had him play guitar as our guests filed in, and during the processional and recessional, and he did an incredible job. He played beautifully, and set a relaxing and reverent tone for guests as they arrived. He was so easy to work with, providing an extensive list of songs in his repertoire, and personally arranging songs we requested. He was open to our song selections and was helpful in our process of determining how many songs we'd need for our time frame. We couldn't be happier with his expertise, presence, and skills, and in fact we've asked him to record for us the songs he played so that we can have a sort of soundtrack from our wedding to listen to in perpetuity-he's that good!

Robert was fabulous to work with! He was quick to respond and through his experience, provided great advice on different songs to use as well as timing the processional. I have a family friend whom I wanted to sing during our ceremony; Robert met with her beforehand to rehearse, and they performed a beautiful duo! We hired Robert to play solo guitar, and his music provided the simple, romantic feeling we were looking for. I would highly recommend him!

Robert was one of the kindest most professional vendors we met during our engagement and wedding. I first contacted Robert to play solo guitar for my fiance and me during the engagement dinner at L Restaurant. A wonderful guitarist and gentleman, he played beautifully and was a perfect compliment to the evening. We followed-up with Robert to arrange the music for our wedding. Unfortunately, he could not play the wedding himself, but arranged for an excellent group of strings to play for us. During the lead-up to the wedding, he worked closely with us to determine the music selections and was very flexible and accomodating. Truly a gentleman and a professional! Thank you!

I found Robert Brown by an interesting turn of events - and WOW!! That was our lucky day!! He is so great to work with and so thorough! He really cared about my daughter's wedding. Unfortunately - for us - he wasn't able to do our wedding, but he found us such wonderful musicians. All of our guests were awestruck!! The music selections that he arranges are so perfect - and what an array of choices! We had classical, contemporary and well known standards. There was something for everyone to enjoy!! To us, the music surrounding our day was very important - and Robert Brown and all of the musicians made the day EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Working with Robert was so easy. He was very responsive to emails and had excellent music selection. He also told me that he and his partner would gladly learn any other songs I wanted. Although I didn't get him my music selections until close to two weeks before the ceremony, he and the cellist were able to incorporate a song not listed in his original music selection. Music was beautiful! Would highly recommend :)

Robert was wonderful. He took the time to create custom arrangements based on specific pieces of music we requested. The ceremony was made that much more special by the music. Can't say enough good things!

Robert and the rest of the string group we hired for our wedding were absolutely outstanding! Not only did they drive 2 hours to our venue, but they also managed to improvise and still find a way to play at our outdoor ceremony even though it was raining. Robert was very responsive anytime I had any questions, and was willing to personally compose some specific songs we wanted to hear. His pricing is also very reasonable in comparison to other vendors I had looked at. Would highly recommend!

We originally wanted a duo of violin and guitar for our ceremony, and loved the samples of Robert's music in a duo from the get-go. A few months out from the wedding, we had some drastic changes to how the wedding would go, and Robert worked with us so well and adapted the music to be for just him on the guitar for our ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful, our guests have raved about his playing since the wedding, and we could not be happier. Not only was the music lovely, Robert was super laid back, knowledgeable, and a delight to work with. We cannot recommend him enough!!

I hired Robert to play music for my outdoor wedding ceremony in October. He learned two new songs at my request for my processional and recessional and greeted my guest with music before the ceremony. I put Robert in touch directly with the team at the venue and he worked out all of the specifics regarding electric and amplification equipment without my involvement. It was nice to not have to worry about those details!

Robert was so wonderful to work with. It was so easy to email him with any questions and set everything up. He's a true pro and didn't need anything from me. He coordinated his arrival with the on-site coordinator and brought all of his own equipment. I did a lot of research for the perfect musician for our wedding ceremony, and not knowing a lot of musicians in Cincinnati, I reached out to CCM and asked for their help. They recommended Robert, and I remembered reading wonderful reviews about him so I contacted him immediately. He was able to play our favorite songs and hearing the songs in my head from our ceremony still gives me goosebumps! Robert was an absolute pleasure to work with while planning my daughter’s wedding in Cincinnati. He was very welcoming of all the music selections that we requested. He did not personally play at the wedding, but arranged for the musicians that did play. We had a duet composed of guitar and flute and the music was just lovely. We hired Robert Brown as our musician for our wedding ceremony and we were so pleased with his professionalism and the musical talent he and the violinist performed. Robert was phenomenal! His talent came through in every interaction we had, from planning the play list, learning two special requests - and even helping with a last minute need for an extra music stand for the ceremony! My husband and I were married 9/3/17 at Cooper Creek in Cincinnati, OH. Robert and a cellist provided the music for guests before, during, and after the ceremony. This duo was the most beautiful sound and I couldn't have asked for better music. Robert worked with me to chose the best processional and recessional music for us. So this is a little late. Our wedding was May 27, and it’s been a little chaotic since we got back from the honeymoon. But that’s not an excuse. :) Robert was wonderful to work with, and his musical style was a perfect fit for our outdoor wedding.  We wanted something simple and steered away from the typical wedding music which he was able to comply easily. He has plenty to offer in his repertoire and I was able to give him another piece that he was willing to play.  Robert was professional and quick to respond, and I appreciated his effort to drive to Dayton to play for our wedding. I hope there’s another event where I can use Robert’s talents again. :D

Robert Brown was exactly what I wanted in a musician for our ceremony. He was professional, responsive to our requests, and his music was simply amazing. I had several compliments from guests stating that they thoroughly enjoyed the pre-ceremony and ceremony music. We had him play renditions of commonly known songs so people could know the music rather than sit there and listen to random playing they may not recognize. He even arranged a song not on his already on his extensive song list for our wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Robert again. He really tied the whole ceremony together and we greatly appreciated his expertise at our wedding.

Robert Brown did a wonderful job at my outdoor wedding ceremony on August 27, 2016. Despite some unexpected inclement weather and getting rained on, Robert created the perfect atmosphere for the ceremony. He was flexible and did a great job working through the circumstances. Although we pushed his schedule a bit to wait out the rain, he was professional and friendly throughout the process. His repertoire of music is vast - I had a hard time picking just a few songs for him to play! If you're looking for a solo guitarist for your indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony, I definitely recommend you book Robert Brown.

We wanted a trio of guitar, violin, and cello for our ceremony and Robert was perfect for that! The guitar added a very nice touch and he took care of assembling the perfect combination for cello and violin. The song picking was the most fun part; not only does Robert already have a solid list of songs, but there also is no limit to requesting other/non traditional songs. We did not have to worry about anything on the big day since he knew exactly what he was doing and we received so many compliments on the music! I highly recommend Robert; plus, his prices were also very reasonable.

I am a bride who knew she wanted music as a high priority for her wedding ceremony! I had a close friend who ended up not being able to do it and Robert Brown turned out amazing. Him and his other two artists sounded awesome and were super professional. I'm disappointed because in the moment you don't hear and zone in on the music as much as I wanted to do. I did hear the video which sounded great. Several guests raved about the live music versus so many weddings they have been to lately which are from a phone or laptop. Totally worth the money!

I was so pleased with Robert Brown's services for my daughter's wedding. He went above and beyond my expectations. We requested that he play a Pearl Jam song for the processional that did not appear on any CD. He was able to transpose the song that he could only hear from a YouTube download and he nailed it. If that wasn't enough, he played some beautiful incidental music prior to the wedding ceremony. Robert made it so easy to work with that I never had a worry. I would highly recommend Robert for weddings (or other suitable occasions).
