Do yourself a favor, and book him immediately!! PLANNING: Robert was quick to respond, offered to grab a beer and get to know us as a couple. Unfortunately, we passed on the beer, but since we stumbled across his work, we worked all the details out via email. Our contract and payment were processed quickly. Robert reached out to us closer to the wedding to go over a day-of agenda. We didn't use a planner so I (the bride) put one together. He gave feedback on the flow, and it became extra apparent Robert is a seasoned professional as a photographer, specifically weddings...especially in Brooklyn. WEDDING DAY: Robert was early and flexible with the inevitable mayhem. He worked seamlessly with our videographer to set up shots, and was patient as the wedding party organized ourselves. He was very calm, and communicated when we could relax and take our time and when we needed to get it together to stay on track. Robert is FAST (even our videographer said he's one of the fastest photographers he's worked with) and is self-assured with his camera. It allowed everyone to relax and have fun. We shot at 3 locations, our host hotel, the Brooklyn Bridge and at our venue. Lighting is different in all locations, and all our photos came out beautifully. AESTHETIC: We did not want a lame wedding photographer with over-editing. Robert shoots in a documentary-stye, which we LOVE. Our photos came out with a realness, grit, and soft romance to them. They're an honest representation of the day. Robert also picked up on the goofiness my husband and I have, and threw in candids that turned out to be some of our favorites! VALUE & DELIVERY: Timely! He even threw in extra photos, and every shot is flawlessly edited. OVERALL: Book Robert now. You will be extraordinarily pleased!!!

Our experience with Robert was nothing but wonderful. Robert was very flexible with us on the timing/location of our engagement shoot and showed up ready to go. I was worried that a shoot like that would be kind of stiff and awkward, but Robert made it so fun and not uncomfortable at all. We did our engagement photos in Grand Central and Central Park, and the results were fantastic. He provided us with so many beautiful photos that we are still getting compliments on. I cannot recommend him enough!

I would recommend Robert Carlo to anyone for pretty much any event. He is a fantastic photographer. Robert takes the time to understand what you want out of an event or shoot and does his best to deliver amazing results. From the first time that we met with him through the end of our ceremony, he was professional and courteous at all times but seemed more of a friend than a vendor. We felt comfortable around him and that comfort level made it possible for my husband to open up and have fun with our engagement shoot. We can't wait to see the wedding photos and they story that they tell about our day.

When I found Robert, I knew he was the photographer for our beautiful Magnolia Plantation Wedding. His creative photography style was exactly what we were looking for. Robert was awesome to work with for our wedding. In the weeks before the wedding, he met with us twice to go over ideas, set out a timeline, and visit our venues. I know he went back to the venues at least once on his own to scout out additional locations. On the wedding day, he managed to be at the center of the action at all times without ever getting in the way. He stayed for extra time and sent us additional extra photos than what our package stated, which was a nice surprise. We ended up with a great mix of posed group shots in interesting locations and more dynamic candids. I am almost always unsatisfied with how I look in photos but I absolutely love my wedding pictures. Robert has a great eye for backgrounds and posing, and his prices are extremely reasonable. I couldn't recommend Robert more highly.

My husband and I are so thrilled that we found Robert. We had a perfect experience from start to finish. Robert is very professional and was very quick to respond to phone calls and emails. It rained on our wedding day, but Robert still captured amazing photos of our outdoor ceremony. We are so pleased with all of the photos. We especially love the candid pictures. They totally capture the feeling of the day. Also, he was a really nice guy, the perfect attitude for someone you are going to be spending hours of your wedding day with.

We held our ceremony outdoors and almost had to change venues due to rain - and Robert was ready to move on a moment's notice. We used Robert as the photographer at our small second wedding. He was very quick to respond to emails and accommodated all of our requests. On the day of the wedding, Robert was professional and nearly invisible. All of the photos were gorgeous, and we received them in less than a week! I decided to describe my story with Robert Carlo who is amazing Photographer and an amazing hardworking Person! Well our "big day" was 8.06.2013 in Polen, but we decided to go to the most beatiful city in entire World " The New York City" for photo shooting. I have found Robert on some website I have checked his portfolio and I decide this is what I wants to!! I have sent e-mail He answered immediately, after that we chat and skype. When we were finally in NYC we have met with Robert, and in next few days we had our "big day " in New York City. What I can say : THAT WAS THE BEST DAY IN NEW YORK CITY FOR US! We have spent with Robert the whole day for photo shooting but that was fun for us, He said to us be natural and thats all. We have already amazing photos from Manhattan ( time squere, Centarl Park, Upper East Side, Chinatown, Little Italy, Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights and much more) But the pictures which Robert took of us are the most beatiful pictures which I have ever had. They already hang on our walls at Home in Polen and remind us how wonderfull time we spent in New York City ! Thank You again Robert it was a good job!

Rooftop Manhattan - Brooklyn Backyard! The 15th of September 2012 was our big day! We got engaged in June 2012 so the preparation time was very short (less than 3 month) and like most other weddings we wanted it to be very special and with our own special touch. So we created an experience for the 60 people (40 from Europe) we had invited with the wedding ceremony taking place on a rooftop in SoHo, Manhattan, DJ, Milkshake, Champagne etc. Then Gospel in the streets of NoLiTa followed by a real Brooklyn Backyard Festivity in Williamsburg. Mason candles hanging from trees, southern BBQ, chilled tunes from a local DJ and great drinks. Everything was perfect! We really really REALLY needed to make completly sure we had some memories for us and our guests! People I had worked with in the magazine business directed me to Rob (Robert Carlos) and I am them eternally grateful. Rob understood immediately what we wanted and took the time needed to fully understand what the perfect end-goal for us would be - No bullshit! On the big day Rob was there before the ceremony, during the ceremony, on the street, on the way to the party and during almost the entire party! With great skills and a determined and professional approach Rob made sure we had the memories for ever! He also made sure nobody really notice him and his presence never interfered with the celebration. Smooth and Pro from morning - late night! Just to make clear how well Rob understood us he made sure we had a few picture two days after!! For newlyweds this is extremely important and he knew that!! I wish this site had a higher scale because I could easily give Rob 1.000 stars with out blinking but I have to settle for those that are available! Thanks again Rob!
