About this vendor
You are unique and your wedding film should be as well. I filmed my first wedding in 2001, which started as a way to practice my craft with a goal towards making movies. I quickly discovered that I really loved the challenge of capturing something where you can’t do a second take.
I often hear from my clients how their wedding “was just like watching a movie”.
And it’s true, I’m able to express myself creativity through the art of the audio-visual language and apply the classic rules of cinema to my work.
No wedding is alike and each film that I create is different. For me that means I need to be more creative than just having a collection of beautiful shots layered over music. I like to craft a narrative using the audio from the day that is unique to each couple.

Andrew and I found Robert of Robert Michael films as we were perusing countless videos on Vimeo in search of a videographer for our wedding day. We landed on one of his wedding fil...
ms that gave me goosebumps and left us both speechless. After seeing that film, we closed our browser and hoped that our search for our videographer was over. And it was…
Fast forward to our wedding day…
Robert and his assistant, Evan, were so prompt, focused, and professional throughout the entire day. They were so discreet, and we forgot that they were nearby throughout the whole day until we saw our highlight wedding film. Although we enjoyed every minute of it, we were not able to pick up every detail that we had incorporated into our day. Robert of Robert Michael Films captured every moment - including the details - so perfectly.
After our wedding, we were waiting with so much anticipation to see the final film. Robert sent us a teaser while he was still editing the entire highlight film, which only heightened our excitement.
When we finally received the highlight film, We were completely blown away! The beauty of the film brought us both to tears as we watched it for the first time. Thanks to Robert, we will be able to relive this day for a lifetime.
We highly recommend Robert Michael Films, without hesitation, to any bride and groom interested in artistic and timeless footage! We cannot say enough great things about Robert Michael Films. Just simply amazing. Our sincerest gratitude to Robert and his team.
I collaborated with Michael on a wedding a few months ago and look forward to working with him again! He's extremely professional and very easy to work with. Definitely recommend!!...

Working with Robert was the best experience we could have hoped for. From our first interview at a local Starbucks, to our Love Story video on Balboa Island, through the big day at...
Walnut Grove in Moorpark, we had complete confidence in Robert's vision and skill, and we were consistently blown away by the videos he produced. Every conversation was a pleasure, and we and our families are so in love with the videos he created, which we will cherish forever. We recommend Robert Michael Films with highest confidence.
As my cousin's wedding coordinator, I knew from our first meeting with Robert that the wedding video was going to be spectacular. He did not disappoint. Robert captured every speci...
al moment and pieced them together in the most perfect way. The film depicts every bit of the joy and love that the happy couple, our family, and friends experienced that day. Robert truly has a gift. My cousin and her husband, as well as our entire family, are thrilled that he was the one to capture such a special occasion.
Our wedding video was so magical! Robert really captured all of our special moments and put together the most memorable video!
Hiring Robert to capture our day was the best decision we made! The wedding film (yes, I call it a film because it is so amazing and feels like you are watching a short movie) was ...
absolutely stunning. The mix of the music with the audio that he chose were just perfect. One thing we talked about during our meeting is how after the wedding the only thing you have to look back upon are the photos and videos and I can say without a doubt being able to hear our parents or see our grandparents in the film is priceless. You can't really put a price on how cherished these memories will be for us and we are so glad to of had them captured right.
What Robert created with our wedding video, in just under two months, should be submitted for an award to a short film festival. I could very well be biased because it was my weddi...
ng video, but I am probably the most harsh critic when it comes to film. what is incredible, aside from the shots and the editing, is the tone and voice he used. He was able to capture every moment throughout the weekend with a lens that only a true auteur could accomplish. If you want a wedding videographer that just gets the night then get someone else. If you want a wedding videographer that can give you the purity, the essence, and the moments of the night, then Robert Michael Films is your best choice. From cost to equipment to hours to deliverables, Robert is by far better than anyone out there. Trust me, I went through close to 50 wedding videos on Vimeo and made calls to 10 wedding videographers. Robert, thank you is an understatement for what you have given my wife, my family, my friends, and my future children.
