Our wedding at the planetarium was amazing. From the moment people walked in to the end of the night, everyone was raving about how beautiful and unique it was. The catering and bar service through creative catering was fantastic as well. I want to give a special shout out to Danielle, who from the very first meeting until the wedding has been absolutely fantastic. She helped make sure things ran smoothly all night, and we couldn’t have had the amazing wedding we did without her guidance and help. If you’re thinking about hosting your wedding here- you won’t regret it!

Rochester Museum and Science Center is a stunning museum wedding venue located in Rochester, NY. This site flawlessly blends sophistication and science as couples and their guests celebrate long into the night. Ideal for those seeking a grand property with an interest in the sciences, this venue can play host to the wedding you’ve always dreamed of. Rochester Museum and Science Center offers an array of indoor and outdoor event spaces. For those with a keen interest in the great outdoors, the Cumming Nature Center is a fabulous location for ceremonies. This woodland area makes for intimate ceremonies amongst the wonder of nature. As you exchange vows, the sound of wildlife and the wind flowing between the trees applies an appropriate backdrop noise. The Star Theatre is a truly spectacular reception area. The dome-style ceiling depicts the night’s sky and its constellations. An engaging light show can also be provided to entertain and educate your guests. This room can be configured in a variety of ways and accommodate up to 120 guests. The Eleanor Eisenhart Morris Ballroom and Palm Court are elegant event spaces for smaller, more quaint celebrations of up to 60 guests. These rooms can also be joined with the Eisenhart Auditorium for larger gatherings. location (Expedition Earth, by the mammoth!), and reception space (Reidman Gallery, with gorgeous windows and plenty of room for dancing and an open museum for exploring), the events coordinator, Sarah, just absolutely rocked. She was by far the most helpful and communicative vendor we worked with, scheduling meetings and walkthrus, answering lots of questions, and coordinating with other vendors. Even though she was not technically the "day of wedding coordinator," she served all those functions and more. We got SO many compliments on how cool and lovely our wedding was. Another nice feature of this space is that the pricing is the same, regardless of the day of week or season (so no summer Saturday price surge).

up a last minute meeting right beforehand so I could walk around with the caterers (since I'm out of town I couldn't do this beforehand). Very helpful staff and everyone was really nice with our group getting people to the right place at the right time. I'm 99% sure we all showed up 20 minutes early because of the heat and they were so nice and never said anything!!

We had our ceremony at the Strasenburgh planetarium. The venue was unique, they let us pick all our own music and were on top of repeating any music as needed ( such as the bridal...

processional which took longer then expected). They also allowed up to have our dog be part of the ceremony. Everything was perfect and we were so happy with how our ceremony turned out. The entire staff was excellent and worked hard to make sure our day went smoothly.
