My wife and I made a trip down to check out our top three or four resort choices and Shelli had everything set up for us including transportation recommendations, itineraries, questions to ask, etc. I know we put her through a few stressful days but she was always cheerful and happy to help us, many times on weekends or outside of “regular” hours. After finally deciding on a place, we had a problem with the date (the resort’s fault). Shelli calmed us down and worked out an equitable solution for all parties and really turned a stressful time into something much more manageable and got us back on track to planning our special day. Almost all of the heavy lifting was either done or planned by Shelli. She took care of all of the bookings, set up our website and dealt with resort issues/questions. Picking the right resort for your wedding day can be stressful and overwhelming but Shelli made sense of everything and helped us work through our questions to arrive at the perfect resort for us and our guests. I emailed Shelli hundreds of times (no joke, sorry Shelli!) during the year of our wedding planning, she was patient, kind and prompt with her responses. I loved that she helped book our wedding guests stay at the resort so that my husband and I didn't need to worry about doing one more thing for the wedding! Our guests would contact her directly and book their room and transport to and from the resort and we could just sit back and relax :). Both my best friend and I had our weddings at Karisma properties, hers was at Azul Sensatori. I would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at a Karisma property if you are looking for a luxury experience with amazing customer service (oh and the food is the best I have ever had at any all-inclusive resort in Mexico.) Recently, my other close friend got engaged and knew she wanted to have a destination wedding. I gave her Shelli's name and she is now using Shelli to plan her destination wedding in Jamaica. g I was a little unsure about her decision considering what a big commitment it was especially for older guests. But looking back on it, it was the best decision she could have ever made. We all had such a great time! Shelli handled all of our travel arrangements including all the ground transportation once we landed in Cancun. All we needed to do was show up and everything was already taken care of for us. We are considering another family trip and once we get the ball rolling we will be calling Shelli to make our travel arrangements for us!

, so we know how difficult planning a wedding can be, and to plan something in another country really made us worry. We just wanted to make sure things would go well for them. We helped them interview a few travel companies who claimed they could plan a destination wedding. We just were not sure. Then we called and spoke with Shelli at Romance Travel Group. What a difference she made! You just know when you’ve found the right person. Shelli was leaps and bounds better than everyone else we spoke with. We started planning the very next day and never looked back. Our son’s wedding was one of the best days of our lives. We entertained 98 guests for 4 days in Mexico and it was planned flawlessly. We can’t say enough good things about our experience.

One of our friends mentioned a destination wedding to us, but we thought for sure something like that would be even more expensive than a wedding at home. Our friend had attended a wedding that Romance Travel Group planned last year and just raved about it. We decided to give them a call to just check it out since it sounded too good to be true. After our first call, we were so excited but still in a bit of disbelief that this could actually work. The next day, we received a list of wedding resorts that our agent matched us up with. I don’t even know why I spent all that time online looking things up on my own, because it was a waste. Our agent nailed it! She took everything we told her during our call and picked out the best resorts in our budget that matched what we had in mind. Our wedding was perfect. Everyone loved the resort. We got to spend 4-5 days with our guests. We ended up taking everyone on a catamaran cruise to celebrate and had a ton of fun. Many of our guests are already talking about going back. Having a destination wedding was the best decision we could have made. We loved it. Our guests loved it. Romance Travel Group made it happen and we will be forever grateful for their guidance and advice. Don’t get dragged down by the pressure to do a traditional wedding! If we did it, so can you.

Shelli was quick to respond to all our questions and sent us a travel itinerary and luggage tags, all of which were very helpful. We read reviews, talked to several agencies, we really wanted to go with the best person to help our guests who were traveling from several countries around the world – and many spoke little to no English. And thank goodness, we found Shelli! Working with Shelli was phenomenal. Shelli was always clear, candid, true to her word, and incredibly responsive not only with us, but with all our guests. She never over-promised (like a lot of agencies do) – on the contrary, told us what she was able to do vs. other providers. She guided us through the process, and took care of all the details for our guests so that we could focus on the other hundred things we had going on with the wedding. About 2 weeks prior to the wedding, we found out the hotel had placed us in a different building than the one we were expecting. We brought it up to Shelli’s attention one evening – she moved her cards, told us she would make calls and not to worry. Everything was sorted out and resolved by the next evening! , it was the perfect option for us. As we started to put our plan into motion, having a coordinator help us with guest logistics seemed like a wonderful idea. After googling quite a bit, I came across Shelli on The Knot and decided to get in touch with her after reading wonderful reviews about her and her services. She really was a God-send throughout the planning process!! We had quite a few guests who had never really traveled before, so they (understandably) had a fair amount of questions.
