Everyone was very impressed with how smooth the process was and how everything was taken care of for them from beginning to end. I would recommend Romance Travel Group to anyone looking for a solid travel agent. We are not able to travel this year, but we will definitely be calling Shelli to help us with our anniversary trip next year!!

ig commitment it was especially for older guests. But looking back on it, it was the best decision she could have ever made. We all had such a great time! Shelli handled all of our travel arrangements including all the ground transportation once we landed in Cancun. All we needed to do was show up and everything was already taken care of for us. Mexico and made the travel process for our guests seamless. We appreciated her prompt responses, ability to get answers from the resort, and detailed documents mailed to us and our guests before traveling. While we aren’t located in the same city as Shelli, this wasn’t a problem at all and we worked completely over email. n something in another country really made us worry. We just wanted to make sure things would go well for them. We helped them interview a few travel companies who claimed they could plan a destination wedding. We just were not sure. Then we called and spoke with Shelli at Romance Travel Group. What a difference she made! You just know when you’ve found the right person. Shelli was leaps and bounds better than everyone else we spoke with. We started planning the very next day and never looked back. Our son’s wedding was one of the best days of our lives. We entertained 98 guests for 4 days in Mexico and it was planned flawlessly. We can’t say enough good things about our experience.

Our friend had attended a wedding that Romance Travel Group planned last year and just raved about it. We decided to give them a call to just check it out since it sounded too good to be true. After our first call, we were so excited but still in a bit of disbelief that this could actually work. The next day, we received a list of wedding resorts that our agent matched us up with. I don’t even know why I spent all that time online looking things up on my own, because it was a waste. Our agent nailed it! She took everything we told her during our call and picked out the best resorts in our budget that matched what we had in mind. Our wedding was perfect. Everyone loved the resort. We got to spend 4-5 days with our guests. We ended up taking everyone on a catamaran cruise to celebrate and had a ton of fun. Many of our guests are already talking about going back. Having a destination wedding was the best decision we could have made. We loved it. Our guests loved it. Romance Travel Group made it happen and we will be forever grateful for their guidance and advice. Don’t get dragged down by the pressure to do a traditional wedding! If we did it, so can you.

the wrong path – we thought we’d better do our research. We read reviews, talked to several agencies, we really wanted to go with the best person to help our guests who were traveling from several countries around the world – and many spoke little to no English. And thank goodness, we found Shelli! Working with Shelli was phenomenal. Shelli was always clear, candid, true to her word, and incredibly responsive not only with us, but with all our guests. She never over-promised (like a lot of agencies do) – on the contrary, told us what she was able to do vs. other providers. She guided us through the process, and took care of all the details for our guests so that we could focus on the other hundred things we had going on with the wedding. About 2 weeks prior to the wedding, we found out the hotel had placed us in a different building than the one we were expecting. We brought it up to Shelli’s attention one evening – she moved her cards, told us she would make calls and not to worry. Everything was sorted out and resolved by the next evening! She made all of our and our guests hotel and transportation accommodations. She was very accommodating throughout the entire process and made sure that our trip went smoothly. We had a hick-up on the hotel end regarding shuttle transportation but Shelli immediately contacted the company to fix the issue. She was fast to respond by email at all times. Guest rooms were reserved without issues, guest requests were all honored to perfection, airport shuttle arrangements were impeccably pleasant and timely, and we received every rebate promised back from the resort when all was said and done. Most importantly, however, I think Shelli's willingness to do the little things is what truly sets her apart from other agents. She handled our guests so that we didn't have to. She sent welcome packets to our guests that included their itineraries, a protective travel bag, and helpful tips & tricks. She sent us several congratulatory cards in the mail (including a small gift) before we left, and another card once we returned. Last but not least, she took time away from her personal vacation to iron out minor issues with ours. In the end, we graciously felt like we always had an ally in our corner. Not only did that make planning the wedding and trip exponentially easier, but it made it possible for us to properly enjoy the entire experience. A+ P.S. Shelli worked with us and the hotel to get affordable rates for our guests and advise us on what our best options were in terms of insurance, flights, etc. Even when the process got stressful because the hotel wasn’t getting back to her with rates, she kept me calm and ensured me that everything would be done on time. Sure enough it was. When the agency in Mexico sent the travel documents a little late, Shelli had all the envelopes ready to go so as soon as they arrived they were shipped out. She also had soft copies at the ready in case someone didn’t receive them in time. (Let me clarify here that “late” still gave us two weeks before we left for the trip.) She even helped us to hold certain rooms for family members so that they could book first. She was always very responsive and professional. She allayed any concerns rapidly. She was just as wonderful for the guests. Some were more restricted in the time they could spend at the resort, so Shellie worked with them and the hotel to ensure they still received a reasonable rate and would be able to be included in our group. Everyone said she always got right back to them and walked them through all of their options and ensured that all of their needs were met as well. This was especially important when one of our guests didn’t realize he didn’t have his travel documents until midnight the night before he left. Shelli quickly emailed them to him so that he could carry them to Mexico. She also helped another guest plan an additional excursion. This guest wanted to stay in Mexico and travel around after the wedding. Shelli got her in touch with a great agency, and they loved the trip. Her help also didn’t stop once we arrived in Mexico. She had arranged all of the transportation to and from the hotel. Everyone said they easily found the company, and pick up times on the other end were very accurate. She also called us once we were at the resort to ensure everything was as we had planned. Shelli was absolutely amazing to work with. She made our whole wedding experience as stress free as possible. She was well organized and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

ist. Without Amy I don't know that I could have gotten through the wedding planning process as she was absolutely wonderful to work with! I wasn't sure where I wanted to have my destination wedding and Amy helped me go through multiple resorts/countries until I fell in love with Azul Sensatori in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Looking back at my photos they almost look like post cards as this resort is SO beautiful and the staff are truly customer oriented - I do not believe I have ever received such a high quality of customer service as I did at this resort. Amy provided my with so much information that it made the whole planning process a breeze and my family and friends also worked with her and couldn't tell me enough how thorough, detailed and easy Amy was to work with! It was so nice to have everything lined up from the airline to the travel to the resort and all details at the resort for my actual ceremony. Amy even went above and beyond and provided me with information for things to do outside of the resort for those family/friends that wanted to experience more than the resort had to offer (even though there was so much to do at the resort with the multiple pools, spa, gym, nightly entertainment, etc.). If I did everything over again I would have not changed one thing and I would definitely work with Amy again - she too provided some of the best customer service I have ever received! I would strongly recommend Azul Sensatori for its beautiful resort, amazing staff and wonderful atmosphere. It is a family friendly resort (we weren't sure if some of the guests would bring their children), but we did spend most of our time in the adults only area and the children had their own side of the resort.

We were instantly excited. She makes time for her clients and becomes very invested in them. She becomes a friend. She got to know us and got a sense of what we wanted. She sent us suggestions that were the best matches for us in Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic. We thought we wanted to go to DR. But when Shelli asked us questions and figured out what we wanted she told us to be open-minded. I was so hung up on location and Shelli was right it is about the resort. And yep we picked a great resort for us and our guests… in Mexico! And then the planning started. Shelli was such a great resource helping us pick a ceremony location at the resort and making plans. She planned customized trips with each of our guests and answered their questions. She sent helpful pre-trip advice to us and our guests. We planned for like 11 months and over those months Shelli and I emailed hundreds of times she always responded quickly, professionally, and became a great friend. I have recommended her to many friends for their vacations, honeymoons, and destination weddings. We are going to start planning our next trip with her very soon!

Luckily one of my daughter’s friend of a friend told us about the company she used for her destination wedding. I figured it wouldn’t hurt, so I gave Travel Savvi a call. Within 2 weeks we had a hotel picked and a wedding date set. They set up a free website and had all of the trip details for guests to see. I didn’t have to do a thing! They made it very comfortable for us, and have proved their expertise over and over again. The wedding day went by so fast. It was so perfect. Now my husband and I are starting to talk about a destination vow renewal for us! I’d gladly have Travel Savvi plan everything for us again.

i and let me tell you… what a difference!! Like I said, we got married in Mexico. We had a simple beach wedding with 44 guests. We had a blast! We have so many photos and memories and still are smiling today over the whole experience. We couldn’t have done it without Travel Savvi. They are the best!!

I thought I wanted St. Thomas, but after discussing it and hearing what my agent had to say and why, I followed her recommendation and went to Mexico. THANK YOU for being honest and upfront with me about this. Again, they know their stuff! The wedding was perfect. It didn’t all happen completely as planned, but it was still perfect. Everything that was supposed to happen happened, our guests had a blast and our photos are amazing. The wedding coordinators at the hotel were great and helped me with everything I needed. It was hard to say goodbye to them when we left. All of the travel arrangements were taken care of flawlessly by Travel Savvi. We had guests from all over the US. Some stayed 3 nights, others stayed 10. I didn’t have to get involved in my guests’ travel plans at all, which was so nice! I got a spreadsheet prior to travel that listed all of my guests’ travel itineraries, so I knew who was coming when. That was so helpful! I was referred to Travel Savvi, and will definitely be referring other people to them now, too!

I called a few travel agents who claimed to be able to help me and they all seemed to be just "ok", but after I spoke to a few agents at Travel Savvi, I knew without a doubt that they were the best ones to pull off my destination wedding. They really know their stuff!!! Anyone can plan a single trip. But planning 50 trips, a wedding, a reception and everything else we had in mind was beyond what a typical travel agent could manage. Don't make that mistake! I really believe that having Travel Savvi helping me is the reason everything was flawless. We got married at Hard Rock Punta Cana. We qualified for a free wedding, a free cocktail party, a free dinner reception and got a room upgrade. Everyone got a resort credit to spend on things like tours, upgrades, spa, etc. We're not talking $50. Most of my guests got $1500 to spend!!! Again, I have my agent to thank for this because I would have never known about any of these perks. If you're heart is saying you want a destination wedding, do it!!! It is an amazing experience. It is more fun and romantic that you can even imagine. Don't stress over the small stuff. Let go and have fun. Always keep a smile on your face because when you get home, there will be thousands of pictures of your destination wedding vacation to look through. I loved that! Just enjoy the ride. Thank you, thank you, thank you Travel Savvi for making our wedding day even more than what we had hoped for. I can't believe it is all over. Thank goodness for photos! If you ever need a reference for a new bride to talk to, please give them my number!

rom the very beginning she was great with helping me choose a resort that would accommodate my party. I had 102 guests attend my wedding and she took care of everyone. She was no longer just my wedding specialist... she became a personal travel agent to everyone in my party. People were making changes to their rooms, the number of nights they were staying, who they were rooming with, their flights and so forth. I believe I still had guests adding to my guests list a month prior to departing. With 100 guests, there was always someone with a question or concern, none of which I had to deal with. Travel Savvi took care of it all in a calm and professional manner. She eased everyone’s concerns and took care of everyone’s needs. Once in Jamaica, everyone had an AMAZING time. We all enjoyed the excursions, shopping, jet skiing, volleyball games, the poolside bars, the jerk hut and just lounging at the beach. The staff and the wedding coordinators at the Riu were just as amazing. Our guests arrived throughout the day on Wednesday through Friday. We had gift bags designed that we wanted to give to our guests as they arrived, and the front desk took care of handing them out. They made sure majority of my guests’ rooms were all in close proximity to each other. For those they were not able to keep nearby, they upgraded to a suite for their inconvenience. They upgraded my husband and me to a huge suite where we had an after-reception party with at least 40 of our guests. Any and everything we requested the response was "No problem, Mon." My only concern the entire week was whether or not it would rain on my day. My wedding was planned for 2pm, and everyday leading up to the wedding day it rained during that time. However, the day of the wedding, it was absolutely beautiful, not a cloud in sight. Because I had so many guests, they had to make some last minute changes to my reception location, but I didn't notice the difference. I am truly thankful for everyone at Travel Savvi. I could not imagine pulling this off without them. My guests are already asking me to plan a 1 year anniversary/reunion back to the resort. You will be hearing from us very soon!!!

We had 48 guests travel down with us from all over the states Brittany assisted us with all of our guests travel arrangements and set up a block of rooms for us. All of the travel arrangements were taken care of and explained in detail. My guests loved working with her! The wedding planning was fun and easy. I loved all of the ideas and suggestions the wedding coordinator gave us. Our friends and family loved every minute of our time in paradise, literally everything was PERFECT! The Ceremony was beautiful! I would highly recommend anyone considering a destination wedding to just do it. This was the best decision we ever made!!

After seeing the beautiful pictures and scenery in the magazine, we were sold. Shelli was our agent and was absolutely fantastic! She guided us through the process of selecting a location and resort that would meet all of our requirements. We wanted to make sure we found a location and resort that could accommodate a large group of people, that wasn’t too far from home (Fiji was out of the question – we did want to have guests show up!) and was affordable and beautiful. We ultimately decided on the Excellence Punta Cana resort in the Dominican Republic. Shelli did a wonderful job of coordinating the travel for our 80 guests. Our group had a lot of questions and Shelli was very patient with us and always responded to e-mails and phone calls quickly with the information that was requested. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Shelli is incredible, and any bride would be lucky to work with her. If you are considering a destination wedding, all I can say is DO IT! It was the best experience ever!
