With all of the vendor horror stories we have been hearing, we wanted to highlight one vendor who made the process easier on us. We can see the high recommendations Rock Out Entertainment has received based on their services, and we would like to recommend them for their professionalism and character as well.

He also pronounced all the names of our bridal party perfectly! He made sure to check with each member of the party before our entrance so that the pronunciation was correct. My husband and I also have a pretty difficult last name to pronounce so we were very relieved that he took the time to get it right. All our guests are still talking about what an amazing job D.J. Richard did in terms of music selection throughout the night. We gave him a general idea of what we liked before the big day but really let him decide what was best based on the crowd. We are so glad we let him do his thing because he was able to feel the crowd and keep everyone out on the dance floor as soon as it opened up. We are so happy with the service Rock Out Entertainment provided and cannot recommend them enough!

sband Kyle and I had our ceremony and reception at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club on September 7th in Clarkston, MI. From the ceremony music, cocktail hour and dinner music, to playing great music for dancing, Wayne did an amazing job throughout the entire night. Not only did he keep the entire dance floor packed all night, he was also so great with keeping events of the evening rolling. We had our dance floor outside our venue on the back patio. He set up purple (my favorite color) spotlights on the trees surrounding the dance floor, which was simply breathtaking. Everyone danced the night away under the trees, stars, and bistro lights. It was truly magical. Wayne also surprised us by providing giant glow sticks, which were a HUGE hit! He interacted with everyone on the dance floor well and had us change the color of the glow sticks to different songs. Guests came up to us throughout the night, raving about how great the DJ and music was. Wayne- Thank you so much for being apart of our wedding day. I honestly never left the dance floor and burned my shoes black from dancing so hard. It was the best day of our lives!

good things about Rock Out Entertainment -- not only did Wayne keep the party moving and provide great music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, but he really hit it out of the park for dancing. He "read the room" extremely well and kept the crowd-pleasers coming... the dance floor was packed all night long. Also, the giant glow sticks were a big hit. :) We really appreciate that Wayne took the time before wedding day to meet with us, get to know our style, and solidify a detailed plan. We had a complete blast with our friends and family, and that's thanks to his talent!

was a miscommunication about the time of the ceremony, but Matt was extremely apologetic and up front with us about the mistake, and he busted his a** to make sure the rest of the night went off without a hitch. He is a phenomenal reception DJ - the music choices, volume, and flow were absolutely perfect, and our guests (and we!) had an amazing time dancing the entire night. Matt is exceptionally talented, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for your DJ needs, just make sure you go over the timeline!

He really is an expert at reading the crowd. Our guest were up dancing all night. Prior to dancing he kept the night running smoothly, he was prompt and so easy to work with. My daughter did not want a "cheesy" DJ. Once she and her fiance met with Wayne they were completely confident he would do a great job. We had dozens of guests come up to us during the wedding telling us that our DJ was incredible. We also had multiple guests tell us that our DJ was the best they had ever seen! A testament to their skills was the fact that the dance floor was full the entire night. My husband and I danced the entire night with our guests! We didn't have any other entertainment (i.e. photo booth) so I was hoping and praying that people would want to dance! With DJ Justin and MC Sean you have to dance (well they don't force you, but you want to)! My 90-year old grandmother was on the dance floor! Rock Out also did our up-lighting... it was stunning! We could never thank Rock Out Entertainment enough. We have so many wonderful memories from our wedding day... and a lot of them are on the dance floor with our family and friends!

Above all, the dance floor was PACKED from the moment the first dance started - it was amazing and exactly what we wanted for our wedding - people dancing all night long!!! Plus, he referred us to our photobooth (Memory Box), who was able to give us some extra discounts because of the referral. We envisioned a music full of latino music and culture, but with pops of traditional fun dance songs for my family. We provided him with a list of our favorite songs beforehand in case he didn’t have the type of music we wanted. Surprisingly, he already had a lot of the songs and created the exact atmosphere we hoped for, and maybe even better! Our friends and family made a number of requests, including a polka and a lot of latin party music, and he (after checking with us) played everything requested. Our goal was for people to want to get up and dance, and the dance floor was full for the entire evening. He wasn’t one of the annoying DJs that is always on the microphone, and we are still getting compliments from guests about how great he was.

If my husband or I went up to make a suggestion it was the next song that was played. He was laughing and smiling the whole time, which may not seem like a big deal but I found that since he's front and center people really fed off their energetic vibes. We filled out a request form and went over it with our DJ (DJ Matt), and then after that we left it all in his hands. I'll admit, we were pretty vague - we basically told him no explicit lyrics, and please make sure everyone has fun. Matt did such an amazing job!! The music matched the mood of each event through the reception perfectly (cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, etc). And Matt knew how to get people out on the dance floor and pumped up!! Our dance floor was full the entire night and everyone had a blast! DJ Matt even passed out these crazy light-up glow sticks that everyone went crazy over - it was so much fun! If you're looking for an awesome DJ who really knows how to keep the party going, definitely talk to these guys!
