Rock Paper Scissors Events

I began working with Ara at Rock Paper Scissors about a year before my wedding. I chose her because I wanted something more than the typical floral arrangement/centerpiece. She did an exceptional job in designing my wedding from ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Ara's ideas were creative, beautiful and she worked with my budget which was so important. Ara and her team decorated my venue, City Winery, for the reception, then while we were all in the cocktail hour they tore down the ceremony decor and reset for the reception. It was totally seamless from my view and very impressive. The best part about it is no one from my family or group of friends had to go to the venue early to set up or miss cocktail hour to decorate. Ara's experience in the wedding industry really showed while I was working with her. If I was ever in need of a recommendation or needed direction, she happily helped and offered excellent options. Through Ara I was able to find my hair stylist and my event coordinator (also of RPS - review below). Additionally, her taste is impeccable. Whenever I couldn't make a decision I relied on Ara's expertise and our wedding was absolutely gorgeous. Ara also introduced me to Christina at Rock Paper Scissors and I hired Christina as my day of coordinator. Christina was experienced, friendly, and like Ara, had the patience of a saint! She started working with me about a month before my wedding and (thankfully!) became the point person for all my vendors. We had a ridiculous situation with the Trump Soho in which my suite kept being changed and each time Christina contacted all my vendors to update them on the correct room number. She worked her magic behind the scenes and if anything did go wrong, I never knew about it and the situation was fixed. She and her team did an excellent job. Rock Paper Scissors was a great company to work with and I couldn't have pulled off my wedding day without them! Thank you Ara and Christina!!
