My name is Rock, a Cedar Rapids-based wedding photographer and videographer. I love coffee, tea, motorcycle, archery and art. I enjoy working with all kinds of couples, but I’m especially excited by those who put creativity and fun into their wedding plans. ut had a very tight budget. He was willing to be incredibly flexible and work with us to create a custom package to fit our limited funds. Rock was initially going to do photos only, but when our videographer fell through a few months before our wedding, he agreed to take on video as well.
On our wedding day, Rock was amazing, following our complicated schedule and quickly adapting to weather conditions like wind. He even stayed late to get extra videography footage since we were behind schedule. Our wedding was at the beginning of the summer (end of May) and Rock delivered all of our photos the next week. Our wedding video was ready less than a month after our wedding.
One year later, we realized we had never seen Rock’s message asking which address to send our USB drive to. Even though so much time had passed, he was quick to respond and let us know he could still get the USB to us, even offering to meet up and hand it off in person within a couple days.
Our experience with Rock was 100/10 and we cannot recommend him enough. He goes above and beyond to preserve his customers’ most important memories beautifully, and he is incredible at what he does!!

en adjusted it 2 days before to include everything we wanted. Come wedding day The minute he arrived at the venue and had everything he needed he just went to work. At one point we lost the ring but have no fear rock found it in my shoe. All day long he kept checking in. At one point we were running behind but he made sure to catch us right back up like no time was lost. Rock made us feel at ease and even found some time to sneak me and my husband away to enjoy the moment for some beautiful sunset pictures. Rock was kind, timely, and very professional. Rock allowed us to be us. He memorized everyone’s name in the wedding party and made sure the boys were smiling. We are forever thankful we chose rock tai photography. From engagement pictures to wedding day. Rock is the right one for someone who wants high quality pictures but and is an easy going bride. Thank you so much rock.

first off I want to I say that I have not actually met him in person nor have I had my engagement pictures, my wedding pictures or anything done personally by him yet to really jud...
ge him by his work rather than pics i see of others, which I will do another review afterwards but I'm positive I will still be giving him five stars if not more if that were an option so since I don't personally have my pictures or my wedding done yet I am giving him a five star rating for him simply as a person at this point. My wedding is not until a year and a half away and I signed a contract with him last week solely based off of a recommendation from my hairstylist and I have nothing but good things to say about him! He has been more than just a photographer. Like he already has a signed contract and his deposit so he doesn't have to do everything he has done for me in the past week if he didn't want to.. He has helped me with things such as advice, emotional support, he has given me pointers and recommendations such as Djs, planners, examples/templates of an itinerary/checklists, etc. He has been prompt about getting back to me in a timely manner. He has answered my questions and helped me find solutions for my wedding as a whole-not just the photography part. His title should also include wedding planner/event coordinator besides photographer/videographer! I have only been talking to him for a week and as I mentioned above I haven't even met him in person yet and I feel like we are already friends! He is so easy to work with.. Thanks Rock for listening and putting up with me this past week, I know I have been ALOT!!! U have another 1.5yrs to deal with me so good luck lol!! Cant wait to actually get to work with u in person!! I just know my pics and video are going to be amazing just by judging how dedicated u have already been and the time u put in out of your busy day to make sure we r taken care of:)
