to dance we didn’t expect much. Luckily with Rockin Robin as our dj we had absolutely nothing to worry about! He ended up getting everyone on the dance floor and even had me and my husband dancing the night away!! Some of our best memories of the day were singing and dancing with our friends! We wouldn’t have those memories if it weren’t for Rockin Robin!! He was so easy to work with and truly cared about our big day!! 10000% recommend!!!

worst part though - He asked for a request list of songs that he could go off of to make his set list. When asked to get a preview of his set list, his response was “you’ll have to trust me”. That might be what is understood in the DJ world but when it came to the dancing music he played, I would have liked more of a say because it was not what we wanted to go for. So much so that no one really wanted to dance and at 8pm when I approached him with intentions to ask about what was going on with the playlist, he was not at his DJ stand but was playing with a fake animal toy around the children instead. He responded with “are y’all ready to dance?” - um YES! The whole point of having the DJ at a wedding is to have music to dance to. He began to play all of the songs we requested in a row instead of blending them with similar songs throughout the night. Later he told my now husband that the music we provided would only take up 45 minutes… if we needed to provide the whole playlist that’s something we needed to know ahead of the event instead of “trusting him” to do his job. At that point in the night, neither of us wanted to dance and chose to socialize with our guests instead of participate in his service.

meet with them once before the wedding so I was kind of nervous that they would understand exactly what we wanted/our music tastes but they got it exactly right and were so flexible in dealing with us--we are kind of picky about what music we like/don't like and had a few odd requests but they made it happen and I can't imagine that it could have gone any better than it did. I had quite a few of our guests tell me it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to and I know a big part of that is because of the awesome entertainment Rockin Robin's DJs provided. Another great thing about them: they are super affordable and both of the DJs who actually worked with us on the day of the wedding brought such a great energy to the wedding. They were out there all night taking pictures (which we didn't even ask/didn't know they would do) and making sure everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a very energetic, fun, and professional DJ service at their wedding! Oh, and they also gave us a CD of songs from our reception which was so sweet.
