Roy did an AMAZING job as the Dj for my wedding in December! From planning to the day of the wedding, it was a true delight to work with such a great professional. Roy always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes just right. He was able to accommodate all of our wishes even though we finished our playlist the day before the wedding!. No challenge is too hard for this man! His online planning portal is super convenient and makes it so easy to select the music you'd like to play. His DJ packages are much more inclusive than any competitor out there. He has the latest equipment delivering top sound quality. But the coolest thing about having Roy DJ my wedding was that he is a true entertainer! He kept the energy up the whole night, even getting on the dance floor himself showing off his cool moves. Needless to say, we received endless compliments about our DJ and many of our guests requested his card that day. For future parties, I wouldn't consider anyone else. Thank you SO MUCH Roy! I am in the private jet industry and deal with a lot of high net worth events. Hands down Roy is the most professional yet enthusiastic DJ I have met. My fiance had been speaking to Roy and was not able to make the meeting. He did not seem disappointed and patiently explained what they had discussed. His prices are incredibly reasonable for the talent and equipment he includes. He did not nickle and dime us, but did provide options for upgrades, that were also reasonably priced but did not pressure us into spending more money(like a LOT of assertive DJ's do). He was able to explain the benefit of each one and let us choose what we wanted to add. He is also a classically trained pianist! I cannot wait to see it all come together at our wedding and provide a review after the wedding. A DJ is a HUGE part of an event and a big decision. After meeting Roy and am very much at ease and feel confident he is the real deal. I cannot wait to see it all come together at our wedding! More to review in March!

Rockin Roy did an amazing job for my wedding. He was fun and had the wedding jumping. I also hired his wife Cintia as my wedding planner, she was amazing to work with as well. I had a blast with him as my DJ, he even got out and danced with us too! I highly recommend Roy, my wedding would not have turned out like it did. Meeting Roy made me feel at ease that I wouldn't have to micro-manage him. And i was right. Roy was great to deal with even when I moved months before my wedding to another state over 2,000 miles away. His website was easy to use and adding songs was so easy. He was on top of every detail, even to my MOH & BM intro song. They hadn't answered me but he sure reminded me. Which I DID need during those crazy last 48 hours. If you hire Roy, you will have a dancing maniac on your dance floor. He was open to all my guests and their song suggestions. Even my overbearing guest who is a wedding planner in Orlando. If I was still in S. Florida, I would definitely use him again for any large gatherings.

We were married in June and I booked Roy through a Wedding Channel deal of the day about 10 months before. BEST DECISION EVER. He was wonderful to work with right from the very beginning. We met very early in the process to get to know each other and he gave me tons of interesting ideas to help make my wedding special. We met about a week before the wedding as well and he was extremely helpful. As you can imagine, I was stressed because my wedding was less than a week away and I had not picked out music! Roy helped me pick some songs and also has this awesome web-site that gives song suggestions. He is very up to date in technology. I LOVED that I could fill everything out online . At the wedding, Roy was just fantastic. He did a superb job announcing us as we walked in. The background music was great during dinner. He had everything we needed including a few wireless phones for the toast and prayer etc.. He was great about playing fun music and literally from the time dancing started until hours later when I left the building, the dance floor was PACKED! Roy was also great about taking requests of music during the night. Another thing I should add is he brought lighting. This was one of the biggest reasons I booked Roy in the first place. The 'uplights' changed the entire look of the room from boring to AMAZING. Everyone commented how great the room looked when they walked in--- that was all lighting! He also had fun lights going during dancing which I loved. He talked the perfect amount (especially during bouquet and garter toss) and I even saw him dancing with some of my guests. Rockin Roy in a few words. conscientious, helpful, friendly, honest, enthusiastic, organized, fun, dilligent. He customized our whole wedding through a great easy to access and use website. He helped get my boring ;) friends to actually dance !! He was in constant contact with me via email and text and he followed all my guidleines. And many there were. He had great energy and kept the mood light. He went above and beyond when my ceremony got rained out and rapid fire reset to a new location. He even helped the officiant with his equipment. He kept it real with great service and beautiful lighting and didnt try to take us for everything we had. He is a real genuine person with the right amount of pizzazz and pop without being over the top. We had a couple technical difficulties which were quickly fixed and Roy is going out if his way now after the wedding day has long since come and gone to make amends. I would hire him again for future functions and i would reccommend him to anyone. You dont need to spend $3000 for a cut rate DJ. Rockin Roy is like family and you get a solid gold dj at a family rate. Seriously, Thank you for everything Roy. I will be looking for that comment card in the mail this week. :-)

We found an AMAZING deal on groupon for Rockin Roy and we are sooo happy that we found him! Even if we didn't have the groupon price I would have used him in a heart beat after getting to know him and what a great job he did! He is amazing! the program that he uses to help make play lists of songs we like for him we so convenient and essay to use! We had a very small intimate wedding of 40 people so we were worried that no one would dance but he had everyone on the dance floor the whole night! We cant thank Roy enough for the fun night he provided! His wife owns a wedding business and we were able to get our sparklers for our send off from him as well! He is defiantly worth every penny! Rockin Roy was great!! Music is definitely his passion! He really cared about my satisfaction and wanted everything just right. He did stray a little from the playlist I had requested but come the end of the night, he even stayed after his time to play one more song. I would recommend Roy for your wedding!

I used Rockin Roy for my wedding on 08/04/2012 & he was absolutely amazing. So when my friend told me he was getting married it seemed only natural to give him Rockin Roy's number. My friend ended up going with Roy (as if anyone else would be an option). Once again he did not dissapoint! He was on point the whole night, from playing all the right music to joking around with the ringbearer. Roy knew just the right music to get people out on the dance floor. Rockin Roy has been nothing short of amazing during the entire planning process for me, I hired him in October of 2011 after seeing a weddingchannel deal for his services. I spoke to him over the phone & knew immediately he was exactly what I wanted in a DJ. I felt so comfortable & confident in his knowledge & his personality that I hired him on the spot. Any changes I made were not a problem for him. He played my ceremony as well as reception, & even learned my processional song on the piano in roughly a months time. I met Roy in person at the end of June to go over the wedding format. He was very helpful, even offering suggestions on how to make our reception more personal. We ended up playing the "Newlywed Game" a suggestion from Roy. It was a huge hit. Roy played all the songs we requested on the wedding format & did a great job at selecting the rest of the playlist. Everyone was up & dancing the whole night. Roy even got my 8 year old nephew to do the worm!!! It was a great night, & everyone is still telling me today how fun it is. Thanks Roy!

Roy was simply amazing! He worked with me for my wedding on June 23, 2012 and made it amazing! He usually only does weddings in South Florida but I somehow managed to get him to come up past St. Augustine and I am so glad he did! He had every kind on music we asked him for from piano melodies to polka to the jitterbug for my grandparents! My husbands grandfather who had not danced in years came out to join us! It was such a great memorable event and he really brought out the party in every one! He danced with us and played his electric guitar as everyone cheered him on! I would absolutely use him again! Rockin Roy was my DJ for the reception and also played the keyboard during our ceremony for the bridal precession and recession. I was more than satisfied with both things!! He was VERY thorough with the timeline and the names of everyone in the bridal party. He adjusted the timeline that night after I was late to the wedding, which made a late start to the reception ;) You can request songs that you don't want played and he will make sure not to play them even if guests request them. He quietly approached me when one of the guests made a request to do a special dance with their son so that he could get my approval on the matter (typically the special dances are only done with bride or groom). The lights and ambiance he created was perfect! Much to my surprise, my guests were up and dancing 15 minutes into the ceremony... we chose a lot of 80's music, which helped :D If I have another event which requires a DJ I will definitely call Rockin Roy.

Rockin Roy really delivers the DJ service to you. He is very precise and organized. He comes fully equipped with all of the necessities plus some. His music delivery was really on point with what me and my husband wanted and what the guests wanted. He interacts with the guests to keep the party going all night and he MC's. He was a total blast the whole night. If you are looking for an organized, fun, and professional DJ, Roy is definitely your man. He does all types of events and is always on time. As a bride, he really made me feel at ease when it came to our music needs which is important and I think that any Bride would love to have that responsibility in order to focus on other things. Rockin Roy can do any type of event. My first experience with Roy was at my engagement party. My husband and I wanted something chill and a layed back vibe. We had a Jack Johnson, Bob Marley laid back event with a cigar roller and tiki torches. Roy fit into excactly what we were looking for when we explained what we wanted. He did such an awesome job so we used him for our wedding and also for my 30th bday party. Let me tell you though when you want to start the party and get people moving Roy is out there with everyone getting us pumped up. He had us all partying and dancing all night. If your looking for a party he's the man! We will use him again for sure! O ya not to mention he got to all of our events at least 2 hours early to set up and included more then we thought. He was accountable, and cared. We had no doubts with Roy. I don't get what that other lady below was taking about. She must not have been organized and sent him the paperwork on time because Roy gave us his format we filled it out and went over it and everything went on without a hitch.

Roy is a great DJ. He help make my daughter's wedding reception such a fun event for everyone. He was able to get the guests dancing to a mix of different music. The uplighting, gobo and the lights on the dance floor looked fantastic in the reception hall. A lot of guests commented on what a great time they had.

I found this vendor through weddingchannel.com deals. DJ Roy was offering a special for $465 for one evenings worth of services that included 8 uplights, a GOBO, spotlight, High Tech Dance Lights, and DJ services for the evening. Roy agreed to also include doing the sound for my outdoor ceremony Based on the amount I paid with the special, I got my value for using the sound equipment for my ceremony and the lighting package for the reception. BUT I DID NOT GET MY VALUE ON RECEPTION DJING SERVICES!!! FACTS: I did not seek references from other brides. Nor did I try to meet in person before hand. My brother as a wedding present specially remixed a Star Wars song for our bridal party entrance (which was verbally mentioned during our week of conversation. However Roy downloaded his own version of the song to play. His response was that he only got 30 seconds on the emailed version we sent. I emailed on Thursday and our wedding was on Sunday, and it wasn't until after the reception that we heard that he didn't get the full version. DJ Roy used a live version of our first dance song which included cheering fans. It sounded like screaming children to me. My beautiful husband was the one who asked me to ignore it and reclaimed our moment. DJ Roy brought a grade school age boy along with him. He was well behaved but we were not aware of it before hand. My father-in-law, my husband, and myself had to go over and request to turn the music down. DJ Roy played two LMFAO songs back to back. He then proceeded on microphone during our wedding to joke about the "sexy and I know it video". DJ Roy changed the order of when the toasts occurred. He states he did it on recommendation of the caterer and that he never received the schedule of events. However I emailed him the schedule of events and on our phone conversation the week of he confirmed he had it. The order of events after that was confused. When announcing the money dance, he said "bring your $20 bills up to the dance floor" . The money dance for my culture is really meant to provide an opportunity for guests to have a one-on-one moment with bride and groom and usually very popular. The high price tag he put on a dance , made the guests shy to come up. It took one and a half songs for guests to disregard what he said. but they were apologizing that they only had so much or were deciding to "chip in" as a group to get a dance. He mistakenly cursed on the microphone. It was when he was told that the aunt who caught the bouqet went missing after a nephew caught the garter.

My sister used Roy as her DJ and we had a great time. All the guests were dancing the entire time and everyone commented on how fun the DJ was. I would highly recommend Roy. Affordable and really cares about making the day memorable!
