Nestled just outside Johnstown, CO, Rockin' S Ranch offers an idyllic setting for weddings and special events. What was once a fully functional dairy farm has been given new life as a stunning wedding venue. Situated in a rural setting, The Rockin' S Ranch is surrounded by views of the Rocky Mountains and an adjoining lake. The original 1950s dairy barn, with a beautifully landscaped courtyard, makes for the perfect setting for couples searching for a venue that combines the rusticity of the past with modern elegance.
Spanning 35 expansive acres, Rockin' S Ranch provides ample space for celebrations of all sizes. The venue features multiple options for both indoor and outdoor events, ensuring a customizable experience tailored to each couple's preferences. Guests arriving at the ranch are greeted by a picturesque pond reflecting the majestic Rockies alongside the inviting courtyard and the iconic 1950s dairy barn. For ceremonies, couples can choose from a scenic courtyard accommodating up to 200 guests or a charming field overlooking the lakeside, also suitable for 200 guests. Two barns are available for receptions, comfortably hosting parties ranging from 100 to 150 guests each, while the courtyard can accommodate larger gatherings of up to 200 guests.
The Rockin S' Ranch is conveniently located only 3 miles from I-25, with easy access to Northern Colorado locations, including Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Johnstown, Berthoud, and Estes Park. Rockin' S Ranch prides itself on providing a comprehensive wedding package to simplify planning and ensure a memorable event. The rental package includes exclusive use of all event areas for the ceremony and reception, spanning ten consecutive hours. This timeframe allows ample setup, event time, and cleanup, offering flexibility and convenience for seamless daily transitions. The venue also provides essential amenities such as tables and chairs, a dedicated Day of Coordinator to oversee proceedings and a complimentary bridal suite for the wedding party's use. Additionally, couples benefit from a one-hour rehearsal session the week of their wedding, as well as a thorough thirty-day walkthrough with the day-of coordinator and caterer, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and executed.

She even got out her University of Wyoming cornhole boards for our wedding because she knew my husband went there, it was such a sweet touch. Whenever we had an issue, Chris was on it and told me not to worry. Kelsie was great to work with as well and helped to keep the day running smoothly and made sure we always had whatever we needed. ctures online, I knew I needed to visit this adorable ranch venue and the minute I walked in and met Chris, the owner, it was no question that is where I wanted us to get married! The adorable charm it has and the ranch vibe and setting was perfect. I love all the little details that added to the vibe like the chandeliers, old truck, rustic building, and all the amazing photoopp spots! I also absolutely loved that we and the guest got to experience the mountain views, the reservoir, and the farm/prairie all in one place! We did have our own decorations, but there was already SO much we loved with everything it already offered, we didn't need to have too much of our own decor! I could go on and on about the venue itself, but another amazing thing about this venue is the people we got to work with!
Chris, the owner, is an absolute gem of a person! The minute I met her, I knew this would be a different experience than just getting married at her venue--there was a much more personal feel to it! I loved the idea of getting married at a family owned venue! When my now husband and I met with her about all the details, we felt so at ease and knew this would be such a fun and seamless process! She was so attentive with any and all questions we had and just made the whole experience so personal, intimate, fun, and stress free! We also had an amazing experience with out wedding planner, McKenna. She helped to make our day soooo wonderful! Everything was so well taken care and of we just had the time of our lives and our guests did as well! We truly couldn't have asked for better and more caring people to work with! They truly wanted to make this day so special for us and our people!!!!!!
We will be smiling from ear to ear and cherish all our memories from this whole process and our special day for forever and truly are so grateful to have found Chris and the Rockin' S Ranch!!!! <3

stic feel. The bridal suit was perfect for us girls getting ready and has a gorgeous view/balcony. The ranch is so well taken care of and flowers were blooming everywhere!! It truly needs little to no decoration to be wedding-ready. We’ve received countless compliments that it was the best wedding our guests have ever attended, and I truly give all the credit to this venue and the owner/coordinator.
Chris, the owner, is one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met. She went above and beyond for us, even allowing me to come out to the ranch multiple times to trial different decoration ideas, which meant the world to me and made the planning process feel so supported and personal.
McKenna, our day of coordinator was an absolute angel!! She made our entire wedding day run seamlessly, our day would not have been the same without her! Every detail was handled with such care, and I felt completely supported throughout the entire process. She even showed up early the morning of our wedding to make sure everything was properly set up and checked before the day began.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that truly cares about their couples and the experience they provide, I cannot recommend Rockin S Ranch enough. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. 🤍

There were so many things I forgot about prior to the wedding that both Chris and McKenna mentioned and helped me to get figured out quickly. It truly felt like Chris and McKenna were just close friends invited to our wedding. Their kindness and thoughtfulness were so apparent throughout the night. The venue was absolutely beautiful. We were able to eve use the new bar trailer that they had just added to the venue! What really sold the venue for us was Chris! She made everything so easy and fun, her excitement for our big day was contagious and she was so willing to work with us on any and everything we wanted! e when the wind came and blew off all our napkins on the tables we had just set and instead of getting overwhelmed, Chris guided me back to the bridal suite and told me to relax while her and everyone else made sure everything was fixed. I came out and everything was set just as it was prior to getting blown off! It was so amazing knowing I didn't have to stress about the little things because Rockin S Ranch made sure it was handled.
My dress buttons snapped and thankfully Chris had a sewing kit that she allowed us to use to fix my dress right before going out! I loved feeling cared about and like Rockin S Ranch was just as invested in my wedding as I was.. it didn't feel transactional at all which is something that attracted me to the venue from the very beginning. Chris allowing us to use something as simple as a sewing kit shows how good her heart is and how she truly wants every bride to enjoy their day at her beautiful venue.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and planning a wedding is so difficult and stressful but it was so easy to get information from the Rockin S Ranch that it made it just that much better and enjoyable!
Communication was the best part of the planning experience. My husband and I truly felt cared about by Rockin S Ranch staff. Everyone on our wedding day complimented how beautiful, homey, and wonderful the wedding and atmosphere was of the venue. It was a beautiful day and I am so thankful we were able to celebrate at Rockin S Ranch!

She is awesome to work with, she put us first, she was very easy to communicate with, and she had a ton of valuable consultative recommendations. We planned our wedding through the pandemic and had to postpone for a year. If it weren’t for Chris, our wedding would not have come together as amazingly as it did. The Day of Coordinator, Kelsie, was also great. She helped bring everything together and her attention to detail is unmatched. If you want an outdoor Colorado wedding with a view of the mountains and breath taking sunsets, then this is the place to go. Rockin S Ranch has connections with a variety of vendors, all of which were great to work with. The Comfort Suites nearby even offers a shuttle to and from the property!

My Husband and I got married there June 27th of 2020 and although it was in the middle of the pandemic, Chris, the owner, worked with us tirelessly to make it work so we could still have the wedding of our dreams. We looked at a lot of venues and no other place compared to this one with how things were run. Being a smaller, privately owned venue, you don't feel like you are constrained by the strict rules that most corporately owned venues put on you when they are shuffling you in and out to get the next Bride and Groom in. Chris gives you the freedom to make your day exactly how you want it and we could not be more happy with how it all turned out. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for any Colorado brides or even destination brides. If you are looking for mountain views, big open space, the "ranch" feel, and the "family" experience while planning your wedding, this is the place for you!

nique aspects that really highlight the beauty of being in Northern Colorado. There is a beautiful small lake that gives a dynamic view of the Mountains in the back ground. There is a small pond that allows for seating or a place for a fire pit. The repurposed dairy aspects are so nicely incorporated into the venue, it really is vintage chic. The attention to detail Chris has made to highlight the history of the venue not only add to the aesthetic but give you fabulous places for pictures. The bridal sweet with the dairy equipment mixed with chandeliers and the glass windows, was my favorite part as a bride.
The service Chris and Kelsey provide is second to none. The love and care Chris has shown her venue, translate beautifully into how she takes care of her brides. From our first tour of the venue, to our midway check in, to dealing with all the back forth of COVID restrictions, Chris puts so much love, empathy and care into me as one of her brides. I felt so supported during these crazy moments that it made the day seamless once we were finally there. The preferred vendor list that Chris has curated, is so carefully chosen. She only chooses people that she knows will take care of her brides as they go through the booking experience. Every single one we used was phenomenal. Kelsey, her day of coordinator, made everything run so smoothly. She even took care to bring us our appetizers while we were doing pictures after the ceremony.
I could go on and on about how incredible this venue is from look and feel but to the love and respect you get from Chris, the owner. We will always look back on our wedding as such a treasured day. Thank you Chris & Kelsey!

We toured a ton of venues around the state before making our decision. The Rockin' S was the first one we visited. After our numerous tours of all other venues that fit the mold for what we envisioned, none of them came close to the Rockin' S, and I'm SO glad we were able to get married there. Highly recommend this venue if you're looking for an updated country vibe for your wedding!

iness with! She even brought me and my girls mimosas, cheese and crackers to snack on while we were getting ready! Her venue is absolutely beautiful and doesn’t hardly need any decorations added. I only wish the party could have lasted longer because everyone was having such a wonderful time at our wedding! I’ve already recommended this place to a few other people! Such a wonderful place to have the wedding of your dreams!!

ny venues but I just felt like the setting and Chris would make the whole experience better. Whenever I was having bride stress out moments Chris was there to talk to me and make me feel better. She was so willing to work with me on everything and made the day run smooth! I would highly recommend! Plus our pictures were so amazing with the backdrop!

me! Part of the venue is covered and the other part is open, which allows for the perfect space for the bride who wants an outdoor wedding, but coverage for weather! At the end of the night on our wedding it poured, it was the perfect end to the night as it felt like "we were dancing in the rain" without getting soaking wet! The owner Chris, is absolutely amazing! She is available to help you with any questions, gives you suggestions of various vendors, and is so easy to talk to! She definitely goes above and beyond to make sure your day is as magical as it should be! This is truly the best place to have your wedding!

ner, was so gracious and genuine. We felt so fortunate to have ended up at her venue and in hindsight, I'm so glad that our venue cancelled us because our guests would not have had the experience they did, nor would we have been so happy as to how the wedding turned out. Most of our guests were from out of state and were in awe of the incredible view of the Front Range from anywhere on the property. We had ample time in between ceremony and reception for the guests to enjoy games in the lawn area, take incredible pictures of the view and family, and explore the creek and pond. We received so many compliments about how beautiful everything was and that was due to the beautiful simplicity that Chris has created in the old dairy barn and surroundings. I can't thank Chris and her team enough for helping make my daughter's day so beautiful.

clueless and overwhelmed with the entire planning and she was able to get us in touch with some wonderful vendors. Our wedding day was truly amazing and an experience there was something I would not trade with anywhere else. The venue has such a clean white vibe that seems to look great with modern touches, but also looks great with rustic decorations. We had a food truck that was super easy, fun, and accessible, a jazz trio, and even alpacas! The 50's dairy farm overlooking the front range is just a unique experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to combine beauty and outdoors.
