Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company

I was extremely impressed with Rocklands. We chose them because we wanted a caterer that could provide delicious barbecue cooked on-site as well as provide the rentals for our wedding. They truly delivered! Carmen was our rep from Rocklands and, although I initiated all of the communication because I like to be on top of everything....I'm 100% positive she would have hunted me down had I not called her first. Admittedly, I was concerned about the fact that they had so many different people handling our contract (Carmen was the lead, Becca did our tasting, Wayland did our site visit, and we had 2 contractors as the actual on-site supervisors on the day-of)....however, I was blown away by their service! Our supervisors on-site were Javi and Maurice and they were on point! Javi did pretty much anything I asked for. He brought food to me during the cocktail hour, he brought me drinks, he made sure to check on my drunk dad when I asked him to, he even packed a giant cooler of beer for us to take back to the hotel for the after party. At the end of the night, we had planned to just leave everything as-is and clean up the next day. However, Javi insisted on helping us out so he and the staff broke everything down and within 20 minutes, the entire venue looked as if a wedding had never occurred there. Rocklands, Javi, and Maurice..you guys are awesome!!!

Rocklands was wonderful to work with, the food was perfect, and their extra effort was greatly appreciated. Our 55 person, casual wedding had added charm because of the food and their exceptional service. The bbq is sublime and even the salads rocked. Perfect for our summer wedding! I knocked one star off the service review - It could have been the timing of our wedding but we had a few instances where we had to call/email a few extra times to get specific questions answered. We were never given the impression that they didn't want to help - only that they had a lot of (well deserved) business to take care of. Overall, great vendor.

Rocklands catered our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. First of all, the food was incredible. All our guests commented on how delicious it was. And on top of that, the leftovers we took home were also delicious - even when just re-warmed in the microwave, they are so incredibly delicious! The cost of the food per person was quite reasonable as well. The thing that made me so delighted with Rocklands though was their quality of service. The servers were delightful, and offered to help us set up the rest of the hall when they were done with their setup. They also did a great job packaging up all the leftovers for us to take home. They went above and beyond and helped out with several items that were not in their contract. For example, one of the servers came up to the groom and myself several times during the evening to ask if we needed more drinks. They also didn't charge us a cake-cutting fee when we brought our own wedding cake. We couldn't be more thrilled with Rocklands and I would highly recommend them for catering events.

The entire staff on the day of our reception was professional and discreet. The food was excellent and the person we worked with at Rocklands was always looking for ways for us to save money without cutting back on food or style. In the end our catering bill was less than expected and no one went hungry. Plus, as an added bonus the were able to satisfy even me, a vegetarian!
