Rockstar DJs

Quain was the DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. We did not provide him with many "must play" songs but rather artists we enjoy. Using this, he built a playlist for us better than we could have done ourselves. He did not require a ton of information or calls but that would be hard to tell based on his excellent performance. If we ever had a question, we would call or email and would have a response usually by the next day. During our wedding night, he did a great job getting people on the dance floor and provided music that everyone could dance to. His personality was great and timing was impeccable. He even took our drink orders during his down time as we were eating dinner. Would certainly use him if I ever had DJ needs again.

Doc was AMAZING!!! The whole process was so fun! They send you documents so they have an outline for the evening - schedule, list of wedding party, you get to pick songs. They'll call you a couple times before the big day to make sure all the details are covered. We requested some songs and just had Doc make the list from there based on our tastes and preferences. Y'all, people were dancing all. night. long. One good tune after another. Our guests gave so many compliments on the playlist. Can't recommend Rockstar DJs enough. We had such a great time! Thank you again, Quain and Doc for such a great experience ❤️❤️❤️❤️

If we needed guidance, they were there with different suggestions that helped us decide what was best for us. Would highly highly highly recommend Rockstar to anyone!!! We had Sam as our dj at our wedding reception at Union Station- and he was amazing to say the least! I (admittedly) had a lot of specific requests for the music for the night, and he brought all my requests to life and flawlessly!! He kept the energy high on the dance floor from start to finish. I had so many guests compliment on how well he did and how fun the dance floor was. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We also did the photobooth, and the pictures were perfect and everyone loved it! Quain was great to work with through the whole planning process. If I ever need a dj in the future I will be using Rockstar again!

Rockstar DJs is very appropriately named! Our experience with Brian at the Larimore was nothing but the best. He did an excellent job not only holding down the fort as our timeline lagged behind, and also went above and beyond ensuring that our music captured our personalities and the dance floor stayed crowded all night. We had guests asking how we found them because the music was so unique and fun. I would definitely recommend Rockstar DJs and will definitely use them in the future for all my DJ needs.

Quain was such a fun DJ! His equipment was very nice, super clear and had a great volume that allowed everyone to hear, without it being too loud and obnoxious. He was spot on with all of the song requests and timing for both the reception and ceremony! He was on time and setup without any hassle, was very nice to my now step son who wanted to talk and sing on the mic. He even worked on our DJ so our special day would go off without an issue!

Brian was absolutely amazing! He played the perfect mix of music and was able to keep my friends on the dance floor! He also kept me together and on schedule during the reception. By that time, my brain had gone to mush. He made sure that I got what I wanted to do done but that I was absolutely taking in and enjoying the moment. Brian dealt very graciously with my father-in-law interrupting him. He is absolutely 10/10 as a DJ.

When it comes to DJs, Rockstar DJs is a 10/10. Quain and his team are amazing to work with and make the planning process seamless. DJ Eric made an effort to get to know us prior to our ceremony and reception and feel like he made everything run smoothly throughout the evening. He checked in several times and really had a crowd out on the dance floor. We would recommend Rockstar DJs to anyone getting married or hosting an event.

We loved our experience with Rockstar! They were so thorough throughout the planning process. I really appreciated their reminder emails as so many details can get lost while planning a wedding! I used thus company for my photobooth and dj, both did an excellent job. The dj was super nice and did amazing with playing the songs I had on my list. During the garter toss my brother tried to get out of going up there so I had him call him out and he did it perfectly hahaha anyways great people to work with. They made booking them easy and filling out the forms of the songs and etc. Easy to.

We had our wedding reception with Doc Riley from Rockstar DJs. We had very high hopes for our reception DJ and he exceeded every single one. We wanted non-tradtitional wedding songs, no line dances, but still making it fun for those of all ages. He took the songs we gave him and added his own songs with his own spins as well. He was the perfect MC as well. He was even able to play some Greek songs my family sent for Greek dancing. He matched our vibe 100%. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. Definitely look into booking Doc if you can.

Jeff DJ’ed our wedding and exceeded ALL expectations. He was so attentive and kind. And he knows how to throw a good party! Our dance floor was never empty!! We loved working with Rockstar DJ’s! Paul was awesome, and so personable! We not only had them for our wedding but for my older sister’s wedding and don’t regret it! Everyone was complimenting our choice in DJ! We’ve been to plenty of weddings where the DJ was extremely obnoxious and talked way too much or made people uncomfortable. Doc Riley deserves a 15/10 rating. He really read the crowd and had people on the dance floor dancing all night! People of all ages were on the dance floor and people I don’t typically see dance. Doc even stepped onto the dance floor and was dancing and singing with all of us creating the BEST vibe I have ever seen at a wedding. He had the best personality, and he really did a great job with the introductions. I remember going up to him singing lyrics to a song I wanted played but didn’t know the title to and he knew exactly what song it was and played it immediately. During the father daughter dance, he cut the song elegantly at the exact moment I signaled to him. He was willing to find any song that was requested. He already had an expansive library of music. He even found old-time tunes for the older guests that is younger guests also enjoyed! The music was perfect. My guests loved it! People wanted to start dancing right away after dinner. My aunt even said to me, “I love the music he is playing, I just want to dance!” I will recommend him to all the future brides/ anyone looking for an amazing DJ. Me and my husband are so appreciative of him for making our reception so memorable. Thank you Doc!

After Quain DJ’d my sister’s wedding in 2020 we knew we had to use him for our own wedding this May. If you want a DJ who truly takes the time to get to know you, is kind and professional, and keeps the party going, then Quain is your man! We can’t say enough good things about Rockstar DJs. The planning process is extremely simple with a whole online portal that outlines your entire reception. Quain even met with us in person to go over all of our music, requests, and what kind of music we didn’t want played. We also included uplighting into our package which truly elevated our reception space! My husband and I had so much fun at our reception and danced the whole night! We got many compliments from our guests as well! If you are still looking for a DJ don’t hesitate in booking Quain!

Would recommend Rockstar DJ's and their staff to anyone. As the groom, we typically don't have much to get organized for the wedding outside of food and DJ. So I took five interviews. From the start, Quain wasn't the typical other guys in the St. Louis area. The other interviews sounded like used car salesmen, and kept pushing for a quick commitment for some perks or "don't lose your date". Quain was upfront from the start, and his DJ's were even better. We were fortunate to get Brian out of their group. I can't thank Brian enough. He set up a few calls with myself, and the bride leading up to the event. He double checked everything on the planning, and made sure our night would be exactly what we were looking for. Quain make sure you do whatever you can to keep Brian. Stop looking for your DJ now! We were married October 29th, and Quain was our DJ. We had him do our Ceremony, as well as our Photo Booth and Up Lighting. A good DJ was very important to my husband specifically, and I can say that we truly got the best. Rockstar was recommended by my wedding planner and they did not disappoint. Our DJ, Jeremy, was INCREDIBLE. He took time to have a detailed meeting with us a week before our wedding and made sure to follow-up after with any items we missed. We loved working with Rockstar DJs! From our early conversations with Quain , I knew we would be in good hands and Rockstar would make sure our day ran smoothly. We had Malcolm at our ceremony and Christyona at our reception and loved working with both. Christyona met with us twice before our wedding day (the second meeting was just a few days before the wedding to go over last minute details) to go over our timeline and questionnaire, and it really helped us feel confident going into the big day. Finally, all DJs were communicative and responsive, and we were able to add on ceremony music after our initial contract really easily.

This DJ was provided through my venue and they did not disappoint. Jeff was our DJ and Jeff was phenomenal. Very professional and worker very fast for set up. He made the night an absolute blast. We can't thank this service enough!

We are beyond happy with our decision to use Rockstar DJs for our wedding reception. Quain was very helpful when answering questions from our initial inquiry to the day of the wedding. He made sure he understood our preferences for the music as well as the flow of the evening and kept things organized and moving along our timeline during the reception. He was also flexible with our guests accommodating requests when possible (after confirming with us that requests from guests were okay) and kept the dance floor busy all night. We also added the photo booth which our guests loved! The photo booth had a bunch of prop options, and we were able to choose a template for the printed photos that matched our decor. 10/10 would recommend Quain and Rockstar DJs for any event!

We had our initial call with the owner, Quain, and within 10 min of talking to Quain, we've already made the decision to go with Rockstar DJs for our big day. Quain helped us find our DJ, Eric Krone, and Eric is simply wonderful - he is patient, kind and caring, and went out of his way to accommodate every single request we had. On the wedding day, he took the initiative and coordinated with other vendors, he made sure every program we had was on time, and he even offered to us multiple times to bring food/drink we need. He kept the dance floor going for 4 straight hours, there has not been a single quiet moment where the dance floor was empty. We had an amazing wedding reception, all thanks to Eric. The few weeks before your wedding is incredible stressful. All the last minute decisions and details definitely put our heads in a tailspin. But our call with Quain was probably the most enjoyable vendor call we had. He 100% put us at ease, was so fun and friendly to work with, and just gave us great vibes going into our day. We could tell how experienced he was by all the questions he asked us - thinking beyond just the music but the flow of the entire evening. For a New Year's Eve wedding, Rockstar DJs is a no-brainer decision!! Quain was incredible to work with from start to finish! Booking Rockstar DJs was honestly one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day! We ended up rescheduling our wedding celebration twice due to the pandemic. During each reschedule, Quain was unbelievably flexible and great at communicating about the changes. He never once made us feel like a hassle or a burden. A few weeks before the wedding, we met our DJ, Eric. I was a little worried that I would make a bad impression with him because my husband and I were pretty particular about our reception playlist. But after meeting with Eric via Zoom, it was clear that he was totally cool with letting us micromanage the playlist, which took a weight off of our shoulders for sure. On our wedding day, simply put, Eric was amazing. He frequently checked in with us to make sure that everything was moving according to schedule, he waited to play my favorite songs until I was out on the dance floor, and he went above and beyond to make sure he had a song from a small town indie band to play for my husband and I. Plus, he was genuinely so much fun, which made him such a phenomenal host for the evening. I would 10/10 recommend Rockstar DJs (and Eric, specifically) to anyone in the St. Louis area for their wedding!

John Calhoun was our DJ he was so nice and so great at his job! He kept the dance floor moving and felt out the crowd for his choice of music. Would highly recommend him!

Rockstar DJ was the entertainment for my sisters wedding as well as several close friends, so when my time came to have my wedding I knew exactly who I would be calling. Quain is amazing! He was made for this career and is truly passionate about what he does. Due to Covid there was some things I wanted to omit and tweak and he was more than supportive and had some excellent ideas. So helpful and really helped make things stress free! He listened to all my song ideas and helped build a perfect timeline so our day went smoothly. On our wedding day, Quain was prompt, energetic, and ready to go! Everyone had an absolute blast and enjoyed the music SO MUCH!! I had SEVERAL friends and family rave how much they loved Quain. My vendors already knew him as well and said he was excellent and I agree. I assure you, you will never find a DJ as good as these guys! I am so happy I chose Rockstar DJs for our wedding! I had no prior experience with hiring a DJ for an event or coming up with the perfect playlist for a wedding but Quain and John with Rockstar DJs were amazing. They were both so professional, let me customize as much as I wanted and were so gifted at keeping the party going. Jeremy Picker is an excellent DJ , I had attended two weddings that he had dj’ed so I knew that I wanted him to do mine. He is an excellent emcee and made our day very stress free. He knows how to work a crowd and keep the party lively.

Quain was SO GOOD. The perfect amount of pumping up the crowd and also just playing perfect wedding songs to dance to. We did not send him any "play" vs. "don't play" lists (just told him country music was not really our vibe) and he ran with that and absolutely crushed it. From our first meeting with Quain, we knew we wanted to hire RockStar DJs. He was easy to contact and quick to respond to all our questions. Our DJ was Eric, and he kept our party going all night! He was gracious and fun but also knew how to keep my (now) husband and I on track for the night's events. So many of our guests commented on how much fun the dancing and the reception was, mostly due to Eric's talent. You should absolutely hire them!

Jeff was amazing for our wedding! We had a pre Zoom call with him to discuss everything and our music style. With Covid restrictions, we were only allowed 50 guests at our reception, but Jeff had all of our guests, young and old, dancing until the very end!

A quick shout-out to Rockstar DJ. The coronavirus forced us to postpone our May wedding. The pandemic was scary for a lot of small businesses, but Quain was quick to take care of us without hesitation. His actions said a lot about Rockstar’s integrity, commitment to quality, and customer service. Leading up to May, they were easy to work with. Their online planner was helpful in choosing great songs from their vast library and to customize the night. There is no doubt they would have made our wedding reception memorable. When the time is right, we will plan another reception and Rockstar will be our choice. We will always recommend Rockstar to our friends and family.

Jeff was absolutely fantastic to work with! He had great energy and enthusiasm and kept the dance floor full all night long. He was also a major help in getting my bridal party organized and down the aisle, as well as making sure we stayed on track for the timeline throughout the evening. My wedding would not have gone as smoothly as it did without his help!

We absolutely LOVED working with Quain, the owner of Rockstar DJs!!! Great music, reading the crowd and keeping our guests on the dance floor all night was really important to us... and you get what you pay for, so we invested in Quain and we are so glad we did! He came highly recommended by the contact at our venue, so we knew we could trust him with the acoustics in our space. Not only was he a great DJ who could read the crowd, but he also was a great emcee for the bridal party welcome and speeches. Then we met for lunch about two weeks before the wedding to go over all the final details and music choices. He even helped up mashup two songs into one for our custom first dance! We reached out to Rockstar DJs for our September 2019 wedding after numerous recommendations from a number of reception venues in St. Louis City. From our first phone consultation to the follow-ups after the wedding, we had the best experience with the entire team we interacted with. They are professional, friendly and timely with communication. Easily the easiest decision we made when planning our wedding. Contract was straightforward and their online planning form was easy to use and update. Rocco was our DJ during our reception. He was at the venue setting up well before the reception time and he made sure to check in with us before all the festivities began - again, so professional, polite and friendly. Our guests RAVED about the music saying it was some of the best wedding dance music and our dance floor stayed packed from first dance to last! Jon was our videographer that night and we hardly noticed he was there - he didn't get in the way of pictures, activities, etc. and was also incredibly easy to work with - we can't wait to see some of his footage! John was great! The dance floor was never empty! He worked with my husband and I to make sure the evening went smoothly. My guests are still talking about how much fun they had at my reception and I owe that all to Rockstar DJs!

If I could give more stars I would. I can’t believe what a magical night we had. Quain was our DJ and was honestly amazing. Not only did he go off of our play list, added guest request, but he made me and my dad a special remix song for our father daughter dance. He was super flexible, he made it about us, the dance floor was packed all and people did not want to leave when the last song was played. It was truly a special night because of him!!! I wish I could have met with my DJ beforehand. Definitely take more time to meet with them if you are hesitant on which DJ you’ll receive. They set up my ceremony mic and did our reception music and it turned out great!

Rockstar DJs and Quain Tull MADE our reception the fantastic event that it was. He met with us in the months leading up the wedding, answered emails promptly and gave us great advice on a lot of the components of our reception. He even helped me coordinate a slideshow and solo by the bride’s younger sister at the reception. I’ve received dozens of compliments on the music, energy and fun atmosphere he created at the reception and he helped us keep to a timeline that worked perfectly for our wedding party and guests. Plus, everyone loved his photo booth -- which I highly recommend. Everyone in each photo got a printed copy of the photos they took in their hand and the bride a groom get a link to all the photos, as well. It was a great value!

USE ROCKSTAR DJS FOR YOUR WEDDING!!! And I recommend requesting Jeff Smith to be your DJ! Jeff went above and beyond his duties. We had non traditional first dances and requests, and it was all executed beautifully. It was clear that Jeff truly cared about making our day special, not just about doing the job. We also had Todd who ran our ceremony music and photo booth. Todd was a really great guy and an absolute professional. I can’t praise them enough!

We had Paul as our DJ, and he was fantastic. We didn't give him much direction - just a few genres not to play and that we wanted people up and dancing all night. He went above and beyond. Our dance floor was packed all night, and the transitions between songs were seamless so that people did not stop dancing. As an MC, he handled a few last minute changes (extra speeches, bridesmaids/groomsmen being mixed up - our fault) very well. Further, Rockstar handled the uplighting for our venue, and it made all of the difference in creating a warm and beautiful place. We'd recommend Rockstar and Paul to anyone!

Quain at Rockstar DJs was a delight to work with. He listened to our wishes, guided us through the process and the night of. It was a blast! I wouldn't change a thing!

There is no way a playlist and a speaker can do what Jeff did! If you are planning your wedding, there will be temptations to save money. Why not just borrow your cousin’s band members’ equipment and play a Spotify list, right? WRONG! Jeff was the kind of partner you want in your corner making your wedding a true party. Talk about going the extra mile - He listened to our desires, incorporated our lengthy “do not play list”, moved speeches around to accommodate lags in timing, kept my glass full, overcame challenges with our venue staff, and even helped our friends do a karaoke style bridal tribute rap. Now let’s talk about his DJ skills – the sound was perfect, the equipment was quality, no awkward feedback squelches with microphones, and the dancefloor stayed packed all night. Jeff was not the cheesy DJ that talked and made “Dad” jokes, but he did join us on the floor for a few songs, photobombed a few guests and turned the music up once the kids and grandparents left for the night. We want him for our next family/friend gathering. He was way more than just a DJ, he was the best partner in a vendor we could have asked for!

The DJ for our wedding from Eric from Rockstar DJs and he absolutely killed it!! He got everyone on the dance floor – our friends, kids, and our parents’ generation as well. Guests were dancing all night long and were raving about Eric. He was a fantastic emcee as well, he has a super charismatic personality and did a great job keeping the reception on track for the different events and announcements. I was on the fence at first about hiring a DJ for the wedding, I thought we could just play some tunes ourselves, but I am so glad we went with Rockstar DJs instead. Eric really made our wedding a party we will never forget!

We were incredibly impressed with our DJ, Andrew Dean, and Rockstar DJs. We were receiving compliments about how great a job he did for both coordinating the events of the night and in his diverse music selection. People were on the dance floor from the time it open until the very end of the night. We were very happy with the night and wouldn't change a thing!
