I strongly recommend against using Rockville Strings for your wedding or any celebration. We had good communication with them until our final payment was made, and then they stoppe...
d responding to our emails. After multiple phone calls and texts, they finally responded and assured us that everything was all set for our wedding. The week before the wedding we learned that this was not true - we had paid for two musicians and a microphone/amplification system. Rockville strings had only secured one musician, who was left to scramble and find another musician on his own. Rockville Strings never provided the mic/amp that we had paid for, and we were left to figure that out on our end in the days leading up to the wedding, which added additional stress to our plates. Rockville assured us they would reimburse us the $600 we had paid for that service, but it has been two months and they still haven’t (after numerous phone calls claiming they were about to send the check). My advice would be to work with local musicians in your area and not pursue working with Rockville Strings. They unfortunately were very unreliable and lied to us throughout the planning process. We still had a great day, thanks to all of our other wonderful local vendors.
